Omg I LOVEEEE this soup. I had it for the first time in LA and my life changed. Love that you make these recipes look so approachable, I never would've known that it's that simple to make! Amazing video as always :)
I have a large pot cooking now that has 5kgs of marrow bones plus other beef bones and 20 liters volume for the last 7 hours. I'll be going to bed and the wood oven just do the work.
I'm watching Beyond Evil on Netflix rn and they were slurping up this soup so I had to pause it just to look up how to make it because it looked so delicious. Your video came up and u must say you made it look sooo simple! Thank you because I am definitely making this lol even though the temp is in the 90s. New sub!
This is one of my favorite Korean food. I always make sure to eat this every time I visit Korea. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I will try to make it myself. Take Care!
This recipe looks so delicious! Gonna do it this autumn. I love a good kimchi and pork soup on a hot winter day or a chicken/beef juk - even if it's not a soup.
Don’t throw out the tallow! When I make my bone broths to can up, I save all the fat and use it as lotion! It makes your skin feel absolutely amazing. I live in the high desert and it makes my skin crazy soft and smooth.
Sullungtang is my favorite soup in the whole wide world... I like it with tripe, tendon and other delicacies we are not familiar with in the US! Your recipe looks exquisite. Thank you
It took so many hours to cook the soup, did you always keep them in a very low temp. in order to simmer the bones? Yes, it is delicious! However, it needs a lot of time to make this excellent and comforting soup. Thank you for demoing the how-to method. 🤗 Our local (USA) Korean restaurant told m´ that they cook the broth for 7 hours, no wonder so tasty!😍
Mine doesn’t come out milky like this I think I need bones with more marrow or soemthing … I ordered from a grass fed farmer so I couldn’t control maybe I’ll look specifically for oxtail bones
@@makitchen I got femur bones recently and still did not get anything milky it actually looks really watery... so I will contact and see if I can request these specifically... it's hard bc they are already prepackaged but they did sell the oxtail bones separately and were more expensive thank you for responding
hi clarisse!! thank you for all the support! yesss, i have some malaysian dishes in the pipeline. What are some of your favorite malaysian/indonesian dishes?
@@makitchen I love fried kway teow from Malaysia! Also pan mee 😊 Indonesia is known for their rendang and satay. Both countries also have this thing called martabak and terangbulan. They’re my guilty pleasure haha. Just some suggestions!
@@makitchen Oh, that's some good information. Thank you so much. I am a food enthusiast from India. Really liked your videos sooooo much! Keep making them! Best wishes 😀💜

hi! hmm usually the knuckles, neck, and oxtail bones work the best!

I would add ox tendon and oxtail for extra collagen protein & flavour
This looks delicious
Do you add some salt and pepper?
I didn't add salt and pepper to the big pot, but I did add a couple pinches of each to my own bowl. Season it to your liking (:
do you need a reset? ahh yes🙂
Hey Lawrence! I think you should try making Malaysian/Indonesian dish someday. Love your videos! Keep it up 😊

Hey do you add any salt to the soup ?
hey there! salt can be added to the individual serving bowls (to taste!)
Got it thank you !
Didn't washing away the scum off the bones depart some important flavours of the soup? Like you drained away the water? Please guide, I'm a learner.
hi there! washing away the dark scum will actually improve the clarity and taste. The dark scum is essentially the blood.

Looooove!!!
Wow the music in this is great
No salt or soy sauce needed? 👌🏻
add salt to taste when you're ready to eat! maybe about 1/4 - 1/2 tsp per bowl to start and then adjust to your liking
1 day to make 1 mnt to eat thats worth it
Ox 🍖bone soup is my favorite 😍👍👍👍
me too!! :D
Where's mom? How come she doesn't get to enjoy these goodies ... :)
mmmm muy sabroso
well done bro
thank you!! :D

Step 1: Boil the bones and lose the broth.
Step 2: ???
Step 2. Eat.
You didn't eat any of the rice or noodles😡!
When u put the bones and clean it directly on the sink that’s kinda nasty
I love seolleongtang!! However, this soup was made with tap water 😢 you are actually boiling up toxic chemicals in your soup.
