Hey there! I would recommend Kafeterija coffee shop which is at the shopping mall that you have visited in this video, they have some pretty cold and nice coffee like cold brew or iced mocha. Enjoy Kragujevac
Your problem considering coffee and beverages is easily solvable, when a waiter comes to your table just explain to him what you would like if that item isnt on the menu, and he can make you the closest thing that you would like with the ingredients he has at hand. The reason why they don't put a lot of ice in the coffee is because people in Serbia will complain that there is too much ice in it and not enough of milk or whatever. In Serbia the menu consists of items most people here drink or eat, but that doesn't mean it's written in stone, you can add anything to the drink or remove anything that you don't like. Just be nice to the staff and they will be nice to you. There is a saying in Serbia that goes "lepa reč i gvozdena vrata otvara" which means "a nice word will open even an iron door". And now that I think about it, your husband could translate it to you😂
How is living someone from Las Vegas in 50s communist apparment. There is no Starbuck in Kragujevac ,there is many in Belgrade .You can get some American coffie in McDonalds in mall but i dont drink them so dont know are they any good
First of all, sorry abhout awful English. Greatings from small mountian vilage, 200km southern of Belgrade. Your face tells me, you have some connections with Serbia, you personal, im do not speaking about your husband. Your face looks like you are typical serbian girl. About the weather. This is the worst summer in whole my life. 35+ during day, 30+ during nights. This is the hell for people in Serbia. Usually temperature in this period of year is between 28 and 35 degrees at the day and 22 and 28 during nights. Every third day, raining. Also, humidity is ussually sign lower. But latest 10-15 days, hell. Some huge worm and hot wave from Africa, it is explanation of meteorological institute in Serbia. About stray dogs. Yep. They are everywhere in biger and smaller cities in Serbia. In the norht, number of stray dogs on the streets are lower. In the central and southern part of the country, number is sign. higher. Especially in Kragujevac. In latest 20 years, Kragujevac was led by very bad govermants. They have problems with money. Stray dogs are typical for whole Balcans at all. Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey. People getting small dog for it kids and after year or two, when kids grow up, dog with them, they trow dogs to the streets. Also. I watched a lot of vlogs and videos from the states. Arisona and California also having a huge amount of stray dogs.
What village are you in? I am not Serbian at all. My mother is from Japan, father is mixed, but American. And I can understand everything you have written, so your English is probably better than my Serbian 😉
@@theregularhome It is not important about my vilage. Im not close to Kragujevac, my vilage is 100km eastern of you. Your face looks like yopu are typical serbian girl. But ok.
Love Serbia from Italy. Great people. Thanks to my friend who brought me back Serbian beers and a scarf of Red Star.
Greetings from Belgrade for you and your family Ehly, welcome to Serbia! You will be happy after short time here, you'll see!
Hvala!
Try the tomatoes from farmers market or even better, when you visit that village. Also, avoid supermarket fresh produce, it sucks.

It’s true, it is hard being here and missing America every day. The apartment is small, but I’ve made it as cozy as I can.
