Another thing to note is that you can tell where the witness is gonna shoot by looking at its hands. If its hand is close to itself, it's shooting top, if it's far, it's shooting bottom.

Final Shape has introduced some of the hardest challenges the destiny player base has ever faced... Matching shapes, reading am analogue clock and also walking forwards and backwards to avoid lasers. Truly, the toughest expansion of them all.

Basically 2 surges + 1 solar loader.
Cayde shot -> 5 shots (mag is empty) -> rocket shots -> cayde shot (solar loader reloaded)

Wait so there would be always 2 attacks from the same hand before he switches to the other hand? I always thought that if the first attack was from left hand then 2nd would be from right and so on

The issue is players have an ego in this game for no reason, just listen to the shotcaller and complete it but nah they wanna use their own brain….
@@immortal7669 me and this one guy like an hour before servers went down had to pretty much duo the encounter. We ran and were always the only 2 alive at the end of damage. It actually hurts like I said so many times don’t try push more damage and not move because a death is not worth a single shot

Still Hunt + Celestial Nighthawk + Solar Surges on Boots. For Damage, the rest is irrelevant. Use whatever you're most comfortable with!

The part showing the jump animation would be better if you were not scoping in and out (I know that is how you dps, but for a video it is better just to focus on what you are trying to show). I have done this fight (and survived) a few times and still have no idea how to spot the tell, and this video doesn't really show it well either. I like the safe zone part though, really useful
turning your in-game volume to 10 might help you spot it

I still don't understand how people can't crank more damage and only do 1.8 mil as a Hunter. I do like 3 mil in a damage phase with a shitty rotation. This was 2 of those.
I’m one of those and don’t really understand why. My Goldie was not getting a crit. I’m hip firing still hunt and get all my shots off. But my damage as you said is around 1.8 or lower
double primaries, no surges, missed super, dying
although once during Pantheon my damage was lower for literally no reason, i was activating shot caller, BnS, had surges, but i just wouldn't
so let's blame this all on Lightfall and call it a day

The Witness attacks the same exact way in Excision, just...much, much slower.

Yes, bubble works. It doesn't protect you from the attack where you have to jump. I wouldn't recommend bubble for this, though
