8:57 Can we talk about how amazing this presentation is for illustrating visually the amount of ability gains something may give? This should be the normal thing for all videos about this. 8:27 modicrum*
See, the thing about this is that I read the information about ability energy gains and then measured it and it doesn't seem to line up at all. Like, the part you time stamped, the melee gets WAY more energy than the grenade? Even though the Destiny 2 compendium says its 10% for each ability. Same thing for Demolitionist. I said 20% in the video because all of the data online says 20%, but the amount when measured via pixels isn't 20%. So I'm not certain if it's 20% of a base cooldown or if it scales on different abilities or what. Either way, it's weird and I hate it.
@@Sliq_tvDidn’t they touch on ability scalars entering Season of the Wish? So abilities actually get varying amounts of refund from things like Demolitionist?

I remember seeing cammycakes make a video on this a week or two back and fell in love with the build - however, I prefer the prismatic version for a few reasons : the first being I got an exotic class item with ursa and armamentarium, so it’s tuff to swap to void and lose that extra nade. The second reason is that I absolutely love how silly glacial quake is in PvP, and I don’t think I could give that up, even though banner shield stops the new hunter arc super completely.
@@papacheese8257 yeah I think that if you specifically get spirit of the bear then using prismatic is worth doing, especially because you get access to a second exotic armor ability. However, I like the notion of absolutely min/maxing your ability to generate super energy that comes with pairing Ursas with Banner shield. Prismatic does have an advantage in that Thermote grenades give you max damage regardless of whether you block damage as they are currently bugged.
I’ve been using it with Manticore, but only in PvE so far as I only recently equipped Unbreakable…. It’s a good weapon at close range, and the new catalyst makes it incredibly easy to build up Void Overshield outside of abilities, not even needing kills a lot of the time!
I've been loving Unbreakable in pve and pvp! I have a sentinel ursa build and a prismatic one with bear/star-eaters. Builds into weaken grenades and grenade kickstart/explosive finisher/orb gen to get it back asap. I believe the Unbreakable orb gen is tied to just having Banner Shield as the super because it doesn't make orbs on prismatic, even with Ursa itself on. For pvp I've been running Bear/Armamentarium to great effect. You can hold the shield for longer, but it still caps out at the normal super/damage gains. Also, thermite grenades seem to be bugged with it and will immediately put you at max damage without needing to block anything.
Running this build is satisfying because of the fact that I can punish most people and stab folks with Vexcalibur. And I can live that fantasy of being a protector and say to my teammates "Get behind me." Fun...until you run up against a Smoke Nade and Seeking Solar Nade Threaded Specter Hunter.
