Thanks a bunch, Brandt! That Raccoon was a fun find, definitely wasn't expecting that. I've gone back a couple times since and he really seems to like that tree cavity.
Another very good video Jimmy, lots of excellent tips on how to find wildlife. Some great images as well. I sometimes have my best outings very close to home. Thanks and have a great week.
Thank you, Keith, couldn't agree with you more! Once we're familiar with the local wildlife close to home, it can be hard to beat and we can have some amazing experiences because we're so familiar with them. Have a wonderful week my friend!
Most wildlife photographers don't have that kinda money to travel all over the country. I'm just an unemployed wildlife photographer who can only get photos in my local area. Mabey one day I'll be rich enough to travel.
I totally get it, I live on a very tight budget, luckily for me Florida and California are some of the cheapest areas to visit. Camping everywhere I go also helps cut costs like crazy. Even so, the local wildlife is often the best to photograph anyways because we can become more easily familiar with it. Thanks for the input!
Hey Jimmy. Nice to see the area you are working in. I really liked the dippers you found. Greets Stefan
Thank you, Stefan! It's good to be home and I'm excited to get back out with some of these local species (Dippers included 😁)
Good tips. That raccoon was so cool! Thank you for sharing 😊

Another great video Jimmy. I enjoy this type of video very much.
Thank you, Kirby! I hope you're doing well and able to get out into nature ☺️
Sometimes focusing on our local environments can yield the most unexpected and exciting footage!
I couldn't agree more. Some of my most memorable wildlife encounters have been within an hour or two of my home
