Dave is one of the greatest ever. I don't care if people disagree with what he says, I don't see eye to eye with him on everything either, but the man is a genius. ✌
I love Dave but he has some serious blind spots. He is right to say that of the recent mass shootings only 4 have been committed by Muslims...but Muslims make up only 1% of the population. Some figures suggest 2% but that still means a disproportionate number are committed by Muslims. This is basic Maths. The same applies to many other crimes and racial groups. The majority of criminals are white because the majority of the USA is white. We need to stop looking at gross figures and instead look at crimes in proportion to the local representation of any particular group. It's no surprise that most murder victims in Chicago are black and most perpetrators are black, that is the dominant demographic of the area! However when we have 1% of a population committing a disproportionate number of mass shootings then we have to ask some very serious questions.

We have seen a horrific number of children being raped and the perpetrators were disproportionately from the Pakistani Muslim community. This community is a tiny fraction of our population and yet make up 70+% of these crimes. This is why it's important to break things down along demographic lines. Thomas Sewell has done some incredible work in this regard. I apologise for this little rant. I just want these issues to be dealt with in order to bring a little peace into the world. Ignoring things will just breed resentment, anger and separation.
Dave is a black guy who is married to a Filipino lady. And they live in rural Ohio with their biracial kids. The guy must be a racism connoisseur at this point. However he votes, his constituency is probably voting in the other direction. People are so tribal. Granted, I get it when black people don’t vote Republican. When have they ever shown that they’re not just a white first party?
