      No they do not. You do not know CHinese culture at all then. Among their elites, they do NOT speak English at all, and it is seen as a source of pride because they are showing that they do not bow down and accept English as the world's language but remain Sino-centric. Xi Jinping does not speak any English and neither do any of their top echelon. Just like our leaders don't speak Chinese....they see it as the same.

      Not true at all. They don't speak English at all. If you knew about China you would know that Chinese elites do not speak English and they wear it as a badge of honor, that they don't need to learn English. • @BrothaJeff
      @BrothaJeff 8 років тому +58

      First of all you shouldn't call them red indians. Second of all we admitted to the atrocities that have occurred in our past. Currently the new Canadian gov is trying to rectify it. We still have thousands of indigenous groups living across Canada. The thing with china is that they don't admit or apologize for the atrocities they have done. They just ignore them and pretend they haven't happened. For example the Tiananmen Square massacre. China pretends that didn't happen.

    • @torchforever

      I think foreign minister's response serves you well too because you obviously don't know truth, don't even want to spend time searching for truth. You just regurgitate what you like to hear. Do more research on the so called "Tiananmen square massacre" before you post any such accusation

    • @Doraemonlam
      @Doraemonlam 8 років тому +11

      Exactly. +BrothaJeff, why don't you start with a clip video from a Spanish press team? They were at the Tiananmen Square that night and retreating with the students - the clip was released 5 years after the incident. And do tell what kind of "massacre" you saw in there.

    • @BrothaJeff
      @BrothaJeff 8 років тому +14

      newjack I have researched Tiananmen square extensively. I know the truth about it. The truth is it happened and many Chinese students and soldiers unnecessarily lost their lives. Why does the Chinese government deny that it ever happened? Why don't they confront their mistakes? They pretend it didn't happen... China said that reports of the “massacre” in Tiananmen Square were a fabrication created both by Western media and by the protest leaders who used a willing Western media as a platform for an international propaganda campaign in their interests.

    • @BrothaJeff
      @BrothaJeff 8 років тому +9

      J Lam 300 people or more died that june. There is no way to tell really because the Chinese government tried to suppress it as soon as possible. But many eyewitness accounts describe the truth. Students and soldiers slaughtered but your government declares that it was not a massacre... HA Your leader says it didn't happen. And you follow him like a good little pet and listen to everything your government says and believe everything it says when the world really knows what happened.

      China wants to be succssful civilisation, this cannot be achieved in isolation from other nations, US and UK think they are always going to have tech and military superiority, they don't comprehend that this no longer the case, China is far more advanced then Westren nations know or want to acknowledge, this because of inbuilt cultural racisim in westren mindset. China is expanding recruiting disaffected countries from US such as Pakistan CPEC etc to enlarge marcket, nurture design in technology not just within China but external trading partners. Instead of giving fish to its neighbours, it is teaching them to fish. Wealthy neighbours make good customers, unlike US and west want to drive neighbours into poverty to make themselves feel superior.

      Human rights are universally recognized moral principles or norms that establish standards of human behavior and are often protected by both national and international laws. These rights are considered inherent and inalienable, meaning they belong to every individual simply by virtue of being human, regardless of characteristics like nationality, ethnicity, religion, or socio-economic status. They encompass a broad range of civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights, such as the right to life, freedom of expression, protection against enslavement, and right to education.

    “ I’d to see the world for once All standing hand in hand
    And hear them echo through the hills For peace throughout the land. “
    May the whole world pass it on and sing in harmony ( The New Seekers 1971 )

      Utopian nonsense. You hold hands while they mow you down, homes. I'll be in the bush, watching and cringing that you're such a precious, naive MFer to the end.

    this translator sounds very similar to the one who completed an epic real time translation of almost 20 mins long speech given by a Chinese director in a meeting with U.S in Alaska, this 2 mins one must be a piece of cake for her..

      Yeah, the Alaska translator did not miss anything and was delivered in perfect wordings. I do admire their shorthand skill if any was used. I would stand up and tell the minister to hold on until I finished writing (Just kidding)

    Economic growth does not result in human right protection. China is a great example where human rights are suppressed.

      Ask Tibetan people how prejudice the reporter's question was. Chinese people aren't even allowed to question their own government. How exactly are Chinese people able to deal with their issues?

      Which part of EU? I'm in the US, here in Arkansas prejudice is horrible. White supremacists, uneducated white males, just horrible. Avoid here, I thought EU should be better?

      @@tomzhangus depends on where in EU but there is of course huge amount of racism here. Basically anywhere outside main cities/capitals forget belonging to society unless you are white
