I can go through PayPal for that but the customer service and the company as a whole have much to be desired. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them but know you are not alone! I saw a couple bowls of mini size polishes of this collection at Sally's Beauty and swooped up Let your twilight sparkle because I thought it only existed In mini form. So glad to know it will be full size as well.

That's really strange about the shipping! I ordered this entire set from this company a couple of weeks ago during a flash sale they were offering. I didn't have any issues with mine, but this is the 1st time I had ever ordered from this company too!:)

I had no problems and it arrived fast. 🙁 Sorry you had a much different experience, I will keep that in mind the next time I order. I really hope mainstream companies start using holo as well. I just got Let Your Twilight Sparkle and didn't even realize it was the mlp collection. In fact, I didn't know China glaze HAD an mlp collection. I went to Ulta looking for a very halloween-y orange holo (which I couldn't find) but instead, I saw this polish sitting by itself where someone had put it back in the wrong spot, shimmering at me as though it was meant for my nails. I IMMEDIATELY had to have it. It's lovely over top of a black polish!
Hi Jess, I have been wondering about this for awhile - how do you know if you're getting genuine polishes when you order collections early/before they're released? Any tips or advice how to avoid counterfeit polishes?
Don't quote me on this, but I don't think counterfeit polishes of brand new collections like this really exist. Especially China Glaze. I know there are counterfeit OPI polishes around but those are usually found in random lots on ebay or for very popular, hard to find colors. Beauty supply stores and online distributors get their stock for new collections pretty early before the release. With online retailers especially, they're almost always releasing them early. :)
I ordered mine from Head2toebeauty before they spiked the prices to $7. I ALMOST ordered from Skyline. So glad I didn't. Appreciate your swatches as always!
I'm starting my summer job next monday which means I'm not allowed to wear nail polish for two months. But I really really want that purple jelly with the glitter! I'll wear it on my toes... Btw, I still have China Glaze holo's from 2008, they're still good.
With those first couple of swatches I was hopeful I wouldn't be falling in love with too many.. And then the holo came out and those glitters! I even love the black jelly. Oh well, I didn't need my paycheck any way I guess 😜

your pics made the glitter/holo look nice but when I saw how they are when applied I was like meh... what you see isn't always the truth lol I will stick to similar versions of ilnp
skyline is weird like that but refunds happen fast and they are my go to online place to order. packaging is always extra bubble wrapped and arrives within a week for me.
Jess, if you need full collections from China Glaze, or OPI go to sally beauty supply as soon as you hear about it. I have worked there for a few years and we always get the collections about a month in advance before release!! That way you don't have to order online

do u use Sally Hanson's nail rehab an oils, strengtheners I've not long got two not Sally nail polish to help my nails how do u keep ur nails that shape I've tryed doing Squared but it breaks easily on me
I keep mine fairly short so they don't break too often these days. I really don't use any special strengtheners or treatments, just a lot of cuticle oil.
I am so excited for this collection. I like all the colors except the yellow and green...for some reason they are not my faves. I purchased the entire collection at www.8ty8beauty.com including the collectors editions ;)
There are some core China Glaze colors in some drugstores but for new collections like this you'll need to check Sally's Beauty Supply or Ulta if you want to buy them offline :)

With Apple Jack use white on white first. It will really make the color pop.

They are located in Los Angeles & I go there all of the time. The polishes for China Glaze are only $2.50 per bottle in the store.
