I appreciate you taking the trouble to help others get the most from their Tivimate. I don't know of any better than Tivimate once mastered but one could easily be put off in the early stages of use when not knowing the things you're pointing out.
Hello, I am encountering a technical issue while attempting to configure a flash drive for use with the Tivimate Premium application on my Sony Android TV. Specifically, I am unable to change the recording folder destination. I would greatly appreciate any insights or potential solutions you may have to resolve this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Best regards,
Hi robert, ive set up my tivimate to do recordings using a 16G flash drive but every time all of my playbacks keeps sticking or repeating lines and not giving a real time recording even on short or long trials.can you or any one on this forum help me to fix this PROB?
Hi Robert. Something important I can add. If you have a subscription to TiVimate that includes 2 Firesticks then to record on TiVimate both Firesticks can't be powered up at the same time. You have to shut one off. This is because TiVimate treats a recording as a third connection and your subscription includes 2 connections only. Also I have a problem I haven't been able to solve that you may be able to help me with. I can only record for 90 - 110 minutes and the recording stops. This means a 2 hour or more program won't full record. Any suggestions?
I think if you have Tivimate lifetime sub you can activate 5 devices and for the recording problem you need to use an external hard drive to have unlimited time
I followed your how to to the t. But when it records it stops recording within a minute or sometime up to 5 minutes with an ! In the recoding . I just re installed and it still is doing the same. Any suggestions?
@@radiowave Check to see how many streams you have. I've come across where if i have 1 stream, you may not be able to watch a show at the same time your recording something on another channel. I have 3 streams which seems to be a good amount for me. Also make sure you have enough storage space on your USB drive. I'm using a NAS so I'm able to point my recordings to a drive on my network allowing all my devices running tivimate to access those recordings (essentially a home dvr).
Buffering is generally a result of your Internet quality. You need to check both the speed of your internet (generally WiFi) as well as the strength of your signal. Go to settings on your Firestick and then select Network. Once you have your network displayed, push the play/pause button for a speed test.
Check you internal storage in your firestick also. Make sure you have at least 2gb of internal space available out of 5gb. If it is less than 1.5gb then your in the "buffer zone". Clear cache and delete extra 3rd party junk (apps) to restore back the memory so your apps will play smoother.
Make sure you use a good VPN service. Your streaming service may be getting filtered by your internet service provider's filter software. VPN's help keep your streaming from buffering and add a layer of privacy and protection from hackers getting into your network.
You are wrong about stating you cant record programs using a weekly setting because you can its available in the recording options settings. I thought I would let you know this because I use it all the time.
THANKS MY BROTHER. GREAT TUTORIAL.
APPRECIATE IT.
Very helpful. Thanks!

Yes, the basic version is pretty limited. It's well worth paying for premium

Do you need to have it playing for it to record?
No, you just schedule the recording. Even if you turn off the TV, as long as the Firestick has power it will record.
Hello my name is perry and I need to know how to record so it want buff
