This isn’t just a great LEGO movie, but this also a great Batman satire movie. It has funny jokes, the action is really good, and even Will Arnett playing LEGO Batman is always a treat. I do recommend this movie to any fans of Batman like myself.
6:24 It's probably one of the only times audiences will feel sorry for the Joker across the entire Batman mythos. The Joker's entire character arc in general could be considered a tear-jerker. For 78 years he's been waiting for Batman's validation- to be recognized as his Archenemy- only to have Batman coldly shut him down again and again.
5:44 He's also one of the world's best detectives and a master of hand-to-hand combat but yeah, a lot of people (including studio execs) tend to forget that.
While not the same level of good as The Lego Movie, it’s still not only a great animated film or Lego spinoff, but a great Batman film! I like the story of Batman appreciating the people around him (even Joker), and parodies Batman in the best way possible. It also has great humor and excellent animation!
My favorite thing about this movie is that Voldemort is technically it twice (Ralph Fiennes voices Alfred, while LEGO Voldemort is voiced by Eddie Izzard). The live action Batman movies range from awesome ( _The Batman_ , _Batman_ 1989, the _Dark Knight_ Trilogy) to okay ( _Batman Returns_ , _Batman Forever_ ) to downright insulting ( Batman & Robin the DCEU, _Batman: The Movie_ 1966)
14:29 The recent DC films over the past decade have really distorted people's perception of Batman and Superman's relationship. In the comics and many classic adaptations, they're portrayed as close allies, "bros" who deeply respect and look out for each other despite their differing philosophies. This is a far cry from Batman v Superman, where Bruce's initial reaction to Superman is outright hostility and a plan to kill him. Though Superman has often been poorly portrayed in live-action adaptations, his character truly shines in animation and television shows.
I liked both the film and the reaction) I liked the change of the main character: from an egocentric asshole, he turns into a team player and a family man. I also liked the inclusion of all the franchises that Warner Brothers owns. All the minor characters were pleased, especially Alfred) The central theme about the family touched me very much. Although I'll be honest, with the passage of time, I probably still like the first Lego movie somehow more, but these are my personal preferences. P.S. Regarding your question at the beginning, Batman or Superman - well, it depends on the story) Each of these characters has their own unique background. You can treat their film adaptations as you like (personally, I love almost all adaptations very much), but again, it's incredibly difficult for me to choose personally, and I don't want to😁
My bold view is that the second Lego movie is really underrated. I think both LM2 and this one suffered from not being the first Lego movie and, therefore, not having the "new and fresh thing" effect. All three are genuinely a good and wholesome time and, therefore, I formally refuse the instruction to pick a favourite. I accept the consequences of refusing to follow a direct order and I am willing to face a court marshal (although I do think it's only fair to do a reaction to "A Few Good Men" before passing any judgement).
Batman over Superman for sure, but Superman is great also! Watch some dc animation for a cool Superman, instead of that goofy boyscout Superman from the movies. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies (2009) is very good
Batman Animated Movies or DC animated movies are way better than Live-action. It's a shame they are all extremely underrated. Even The Lego Batman Movie is somehow more accurate in capturing it's loneliness more than The Dark Knight Trilogy which are good movies but terrible adaptations. The only perfect DC Live-action movies are Superman And Superman 2 with Christopher Reeve As Perfect Superman. I hope in Live-action we get Someone like Kevin Conroy one day. Also "Iron Man Sucks" is the best part and truest words that are ever been spoken.

That's a reference to the fact that Killer Croc did almost nothing in the first Suicide Squad movie!😂
And in “Almost Got ‘Im”!
5:44 He's also one of the world's best detectives and a master of hand-to-hand combat but yeah, a lot of people (including studio execs) tend to forget that.

I suggest reacting to My Adventures with Superman if you don't get Superman. It kinda summarises what makes Superman Superman.
