I have a similar haircut length, a little shorter. After I wash it I use styling cream, blow dry it while pushing it up and back, then spray some sea-salt on it. Works perfectly every time.
What styling cream do you use?
@@blahblahblahlahlah Saints and Sinners Velvet Styling Potion. Costs about 20+ bucks on Amazon. I've tried a lot of different products and this is the only one that really does the job for me. My hair is really thick and coarse, almost brittle. The S&S Velvet Styling Potion acts like a leave-in conditioner and it gives my hair good body/volume. Doesn't leave it feeling greasy either and has a natural looking finish when it dries. It's also free of most of the crap that builds up in your hair over time- been using it for 3 years and never had build up. I love it.

This works great! I usually use American Crew Cream pomade or Defining paste to get it to last longer.

In the eighties as a young Punk Rocker I used Soap.I rubbed it in the hair with a towel until it Spiked like Billy Idol.Very cheap,very simple and it looked great.

i had fluffy hair and a low taper fade and then my barber cut it way too short and i have like a buzz cut but it looks like it grew a bit after a month

I'm a female an I just cut my hair. Here tryna figure out how to not go to school looking like I just stepped out if my bed.
My hair doesn't mess up... when I try and mess up my hair it just goes flat. Or it moves back to where it was. With and without product. And I can't get it to change style or pattern.

I would say shampoo first. shampoo cleans your hair and strips excess oils out of your pores, conditioner conditions it to be smoother and shinier

Is 'dove' soap good for washing hair?
All soap contains chemicals which is harmful for hair
Do research on certain shampoos and conditioners, find one with good reviews, use it, see if you like it
I've been using Dove soap for years and my hair is fine but i guess it really depends on your hair. Everyone is different. I'd do some research and just try some shampoos out myself if I were you 🤷
