In this real-world test, I'll see how the Zenbook Duo battery lasts in various scenarios, test the performance for photo and video editing, and show you some of the things I found most useful.

I am a designer and I do a lot of Premiere pro and after effects, I use the 2019 14" model. This one looks so much better. You really can't go back to a single screen laptop after using this as your daily driver. Loved the video. Thanks a lot for the review. Will get the duo version of this once I have enough saved up

I like how the smaller screen acts as a second monitor. I do most of my initial text editing work in Notepad, and Notepad++, so that would be an awesome spot to put those at while doing other work in the main screen.
Oo this laptop is gonna be so useful for me. Im a major in AI and lots of coding, the second screen makes everything efficient while coding. Im in love with this laptop
I also want it for coding. Do you think it would be useful to have the console on the bottom screen and the rest on the main one?

Another day another video of my favourite UA-camr. I was recently looking for a decent laptop for video editing for my channel and was actually looking at this Asus. Unfortunately it was a bit over my budget and picked Dell Vostro Notebooks 7500 instead. So far so good ☺️

For the playback of pre edited video have you tried like closed the programme , then switch performance mode , the open it again and tested.

I really like your style.
Funny enough the last Gen Pro had a 3-4 hour battery life. The interesting thing is that the New Zephyrus Duo SE will have the same 3070 or even a 3080 as the new Gen of the Zenbook Duo 15 Oled Gen2, but be running a AMD 5900hx which is significantly better on power. If you factor in the screen that the Zenbook is a 4k Oled touch and with the Zephyus there is an option for a 1080 IPS or a 4k But the new the Zenbook pro duo will only have a 4k oled this could drain very fast IMO in comparison. The gaming laptop might actually outperform their creators laptop. The line of thinking doesn't make much sense but I am sure they will sell the shit out of both of these devices.

Very good channel. New to yours. Maybe you should tell companies that adding a switch to the laptop that people can switch from ac/battery to ac power only would be cool for people like me that does not want to burn battery's like I did in the past and I always ended removing the batteries. But new laptops don't have the option to remove. So would be nice an option to stitch to ac power only bypassing the battery.

Would have loved to see Resolve run on 16GB Ram since that’s the min requirements for Resolve’s 17 free version. I’m very interested in buying this one, it’s in my budget and I would love a portable second screen for my documentary project.

Great video, bought the laptop a couple days ago.
However, the laptop is already heating up when doing basic browsing and can hear the fan quite prominently! Did you notice this or is it likely I have one which is faulty?

Yea sure for the intel xe with intel that would be great and this laptop is not so much new design-wise but could be helpful to the professional user experience which changed how I looked at the PC market except for Apple's MacBook which has been using the same design for years. Thanks, David. 🍵👊🏻

Depends on what OS you're comfortable with, both are great imo
spending 2 grand on either but the lesser 1500 no where to be found. the 999 not worth it, mine was 1299, I fucked up, not worth it, wanted to game. id say spend 2 grand
If u use android user go get zenbook its best for multitasking. 2 monitor on 1 laptop its so amazing. But if u apple user, u better buy M1 (air), actually m1 macbook air & m1 macbook pro is no different, the only different is have fan

My personal experience with Asus, they have sentient hardware that knows to go bad exactly when the warranty period expires.

Do basically this is an Intel MacBook Pro with an extended touchbar and with Windows
Just bought this. Delivered today. (i9, 32gb, RTX 3070, 4k OLED, 15.6"). It has a few odd FAULTS that I am curious whether anyone else's has:
1) there is a quiet buzz whenever the track pad is used. Very quiet, but enough to be irritating, and certainly odd. Never had this on a laptop before.
2) the screen doesn't quite fit to the bottom besel flush. So there is a gap between the screen and the bott bezel. 3) actually has the green AERO backdrop when I loaded it.
Anyone else had/have similar issues with theirs?

Check out the new zephryus duo 16 inch seems the gap has been fixed on that model

Looking to get this machine what where the specs you reviewed? Im tempted by this one: ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 Intel Core i7-1165G7 CPU, 14” FHD NanoEdge Bezel Touch Display, NVIDIA GeForce MX450, 32GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, Tilting ScreenPad™ Plus, Windows 10 Pro, Celestial Blue, UX482EG-XS77
I wouldn't say this is the worst laptop I've ever used but it's definitely up there. First off, you can't upgrade the unit, even the RAM is soldered onto the motherboard. Also the battery is non replaceable. Next, the track pad is the worst we have ever seen on any laptop and just goes to take up valuable real estate on the keyboard, you can use a mouse but that takes up one of the already limited I/O ports. The 2nd screen is very handy but would be better suited on a much larger laptop. Last but not least the screen is extremely dim making it tricky to see in a bright office environment and totally useless in daylight. On the plus side it came in a very nice cardboard box! As for EVO certification it's more about being environmental friendly than powerful.
