I got this about a week ago. Can't go back to a regular laptop. I love this thing. I use the second screen all the time. Also very fast for what I use it for as well as good battery life. It's just so cool!
MrMobile I hope you review some of the new A series devices from Samsung the A32 looks pretty interesting and the A12 is a cheap phone but has pretty decent specs.
Hey, just want to be sure , which country do you live in?, Because if you live in almost any part of Asia,or Europe, I strongly don't recommend a samsung budget device
The ports are aligned with the top and the general direction of the bottom part of the laptop. I think the logic board is placed correctly and it’s not a problem of this unit.
I could see this being useful for audio production if Asus and some software companies teamed up to make the second screen usable for anything from DJ tools to sampling and more.
You really use devices before giving your opinion about that particular device, which is great for the viewers because they are getting a totally honest review which also helps them to consider to buy a product, other than this channel other YT channels are rushing to make the vedio before official launch of the product and get most of the views. Always love your work man, keep it up🔥
I absolutely love mine, I just bought it and it looks fabulous on a desk (though thanks to you I noticed the USB angles). They probably did that because of the motherboard angle 🙄And I think it's fair about the battery life without the screen pad because all the other laptops would be assessed with only one screen. But yes in practicality it is a lot lower than 11 hours... Worth it though.

The way they test the battery like is like testing the range of an electric car while its in the back of a tow truck... only using the aircon at 30% capacity
In a way I’m glad about the quarantine for one reason only. I dont have to use my 13in laptop as my main school pc. I can sprawl out on my triple monitor setup (an old 1080p tv, 22in XP-PEN tablet, and 1440p PX275h main display) with plenty of space to work productively. Needless to say, when things go back to normal, this is my dream laptop. A single monitor is brutal to use. Even a half monitor like this would make the experience 10x better. Two monitors are needed for real work in my opinion. Anything else in addition is just a nice bonus.

That would be an ergonomic nightmare, IMO, but ASUS does offer other laptops that put the second screen into a smaller bottom-mounted trackpad, if that's what you really want.
Asus makes the best Windows laptop in my opinion. Using the original Zenbook Duo for almost 1 year, it is really something different from regular laptop. This generation basically solve the issues on the first gen, Thunderbolt, fast charging, prop-up screen pad. Although I am not going to upgrade my laptop but happy to see how Asus brings in new upgrade. 5 years later it would be even better by the time I need a new laptop.
Position of touch pad is not good and the limited tilt on the lower screen is annoying but for me the deal killer is the inability to update the RAM or even replace battery. I'm done with manufacturers using this kind of built-in obsolescence to make people buy a replacement every couple of year's.
MrMobile, your camera technique starting around 2:20 for the vignette/focus? It makes the keyboard look as if it flexing a great deal, at least initially.
This is actually the second generation of a 14 inch dual display laptop. The first generation UX481 is available right now. Thought about getting one a few months ago, but the lack of Thunderbolt and the Comet Lake-U processor was a hard no for me, the new one I’m definitely more interested.
