Lol not a nismo anymore. Dynamics completely changed. Japanese purpose built this car, in stock its ready to go to the track. Not saying aftermarket doesnt or wont improve the car. But its changed the handling characteristics of the car. Hope you got an electronic torque wrench for these bolts.
Exactly. This is a huge downgrade from the Nismo suspension. I mean BC Racing really? If you were gonna put that on, might as well just get a base 370z then. The only suspension systems out there that actually improve the Nismo would be top dollar ones like Moton, JRZ or Motion Control. I doubt the KW V3's even do much compared to the stock Autech tuned Nismo.
Good work rookies, those struts and shocks that are replaced from the original are not much of difference except those are adjustable to multiple heights. Now you need an alignment.
Man, I remember getting BCs for my 350z almost a decade ago and people used to rag on them as ebay coils. The times have changed - I never had issues with mine, even back in the day.
Rockie mistake when your take the front struts off you keep the top bolts in the hood you keep those on and take off only the bottom ones so when it’s time to take it all off you just push down on the rotor and the strut will hang cuz the top is still on then you take off the top and then all of it easily comes off , he took off the top first then try to push the strut up to try to get it out
I love the look of BC's, have them on my 2011 Sentra. These will be the next big purchase for my 370 as well. Be prepared for them to seize up a couple years down the road though. I just went to raise my car and had to whip out vice grips and a cheater bar and nearly destroyed the collar before I was able to get them to turn. Car looks great though!
Yeah I think they have some kind of boot things you can keep them covered with which allegedly helps... had them on my wrx... great at first but it's one of those situations where if you're looking for that last 15% then you really do have to spend more.
I just got my 2015 370z nismo.. I like the setup on your nismo, rims. Can you tell the model of rims and size tires you have? I want to try the look you have
ua-cam.com/video/2EAEjkOStT8/v-deo.html Heres the video when I unveil the wheels. Specs are in the description. Vossen doesnt make these wheels anymore. So it might be hard to track down a set. This was an awesome setup for sure!
Way to go on downgrading the car. BC Racing? Really? That is a huge downgrade from the Autech tuned Nismo suspension. The Nismo suspension is made so the struts, shocks, sways, and suspension geometry work together well. I mean if you were gonna put BC Racing suspension on, might as well gotten a base 370z then. Guarantee the car will handle worse now even after you get it aligned.
Love the vids but there's no way BC basic coils are better than the original tuning...the BC spring rates are way too soft...at 10/8...Godspeed makes better cheap coil overs that will hold up the car right 12/10 or 14/10 for the mono max....at 3400lbs 12/10 is the lowest for spirited driving.
i know this is years later, but yes you are 100% right. swapping out the stock nismo suspension for the bc coils actually made the nismo suspension overall worse. Kw v3 or Ohlins or keep the stock suspension sadly.
@@cosmo3768 kw v3 are better slightly than nismo, ohlins are easily better. I had a 2009 370z touring on bc coils which was fine because it was a touring 370z and I ran those coils for 4 years but I’ve had a 2013 370z nismo for a year and haven’t touched the suspension because all coils below kw v3 worsen the ride which sucks because I want to lower my car an inch but not worth spending $2500 on kw v3 or $3000 on ohlins imo
@@LinkTheKink Yea i see from the looks of it Kw v3 is the best comprise just expensive. Kw v3 is still as stiff as nismo suspension? or is it a little softer
@@Tjay2Static The only rubbing I had at the ride height I set it too only occurred at highways speeds on big bumper. My front tires would hit the fender liner. It only hit on a part of the plastic that stuck out and it wore a small hole in each liner. Wasn't really a big deal didn't effect anything. Just a small piece of plastic in the fender liner
Dear, I believe that for a correct adjustment of the suspension you should do it by measuring the weights of each wheel, for this four weights are needed under each wheel for a correct distribution of weights. a greeting

KW is more for the street which it is at the top of the price bracket at 3k, but yes JRZ/Motion control is for the track. Hence that steep price tag and they are in the 5k range for coilovers so that is definitely getting up there. I recognize you Grayfox370 and I never knew you owned such a serious suspension setup. I'm sure your Z is very nice.
I went with them because they were one of the lowest cost options. And everybody I have talked to had great experiences with them. I had a lot of Genesis Coupe friends and Z friends with them. They worked perfect for me and when I sold the car and sold these coilovers I ended up only loosing $200 having them
No really. Car feels way more solid with the setup! When I put the car back to stock before I sold it, I was shocked how it didn't feel nearly as tight any more.
At the time of this video I was a marketing manager at a car dealer. Only making like $30k a year. So it really just comes down to saving money and budgeting for the very few things I actually buy that aren't my bills. Good to see you and your brother always make a good team. Nothing better than family.
The trick to removing the front struts easily is by turning the wheel. Then they will come out with less effort. I love my KW v3's.
I really want to trade in my car for a 370z you’ve motivated me to get one. I appreciate you brotha. Your content is amazing! I love the wheels man.
Thanks! Stay motivated and it will happen!

Yeah I hear somethings about that. I loved mine! Car rode so well with them. We just got a set for my brothers R8 and are excited to put them in
@@BrosFOURRSpeed good to hear, I'll have to give them a try again when I lower the 370. Thanks for the videos!

Get driveway chocks that eliminate that dip in your driveway entrance
I’ve seen those, but I get by fine without them!
Now you will always drive around looking cool, with your heart in your mouth every time you see a speed hump or uneven road. Welcome to ANXIETY !
Do a video on ride quality. Because Ive been wanting KWv3 for my nismo .
Nice! Now all you need is an alignment and you’re set. But I’d wait at least a week to allow everything to settle before the alignment.
This height with the stock wheels would look more amazing I think.

Oem nismo suspension giveaway at 50k? 🤔
do you plan on vinyl wrapping or plasti dipping the 370z
PB BLASTER' Is great for breaking tight, Nuts and Bolts. Nothing else works like it that I have found.
Yeah I use that a lot these days on installs!
Exhaust set up?
I had AAM Resonated short tails. Loved the setup!

best decision you’ve ever made
I know! I'm loving it!
Bros FOURR Speed i had them on my genesis coupe, such a solid coil for the price, haven’t gotten any for the 370 yet
I see you drive around in GVL all the time
All those bolts have a torque specification
Robert Johnson do they now? Lol jk, if you dont tighten to spec what happens?
it can come off from the vibration or movements lol
Drilled and slotted rotors next, wise fab/voodoo13 angle kits after?
Hi, What is the offset for both front and rear wheels?
Hahahahahaha the hell ... you are like the creator of the Z... you know exactly what to do.. awesome man....
Will I need any other parts if I do install coilovers on my Z? What I mean is will I have to purchase Lowering Control Arms, Camber Kit, etc.
Possibly camber arms for the rear. I think I'll get a set

I literally can not get the big nut holding the strut at the bottom out
Try some heat, penetrating oil and a breaker bar. Could have a seized bolt. Might need more leverage or something

The new coilovers are much better. 0 body roll and 0 squat during acceleration and braking. I definitely recommend them over stock.

RS Version or RA Version?
I don't remember. But these were the BR series coilovers and the rear was like OEM with a separate coil spring and strut

Vossen VWS 3

good look

Agreed, but it's also nice to not worry about it if you enjoy doing outdoor stuff. Does better on gravel than my wrx did!

Why would you spend 3K + on coils for a z? It's not a expensive car to be needing hella expensive coils.
Javy Ramirez because he had the shipping supports still on the front coils which made the handling poor and the stance a little high.
If it doesn’t scrape you ain’t low enough
