    DI water is the way. Got two big ass commercial tanks in my garage. Took my TDS from 900 to 2. I wash DI 100% of the time. I'll have to give this a go. I have been using Wolfgang sio2 waterless diluted as a drying aid but this stuff passed some gnarly torture test from a couple other channels. Nice to see a guy that knows how to detail the right way some vids I have watched are just painful. Keep riding clean sir. Nice rig.

    I've recently purchased a gallon of the stuff and I really like it. I apply it to a dry vehicle, spraying the product onto a microfiber towel and wiping it onto the paint, followed by wiping with a dry towel. The panels of the car were cool, so I had no problems with streaking. I'm also a Bead Maker fan and still use it on occasion. Great video. I have subscribed.

    I use it and love it! My preferred method is to apply once per month to a cool, clean, dry panel. I don’t have a need for a drying aid since the bulk of my drying is done with a blower followed by a plush towel for touch up drying. My car stays glossy and slick, maintenance washes once a week.

    I don’t use it as a drying aid, I dilute it 1:1 and just spray directly on to the panel and buff off with a 70/30 420 GSM microfiber towel. My wife’s vehicle is a dark metallic blue and ceramic coated and I’ve never had an issue with streaking. I’ve never sprayed it on a hot panel either, so that may be the determining factor with your issue. Love this stuff, it’s easy to apply and lasts a pretty long time.

    Best product for sure!!!! I say it is a BM killer for sure as they both serve the same purpose. I don't like to use quality towels to apply as the chemicals will reduce absorption in them. Personally I wouldn't use this as a drying aid. It wouldn't make sense on a car without any sealant on it. Ceramic bonds to the paint. You don't want to seal contamination into the paint.
    However I would use this to maintain an pre existing coating after a maintenance wash.
    If you're looking for a drying aid, I would use TEC212/87 Super Beads. It is highly concentrated but safe for hand application.

      Yeah, either straight or one to one is fine. Obviously you’re gonna get better protection if you use it straight but then you have to deal with streaking depending on the weather because of the high ceramic content. You can also use it as a drying aid if you wanna do that more frequently, maybe once you lay down a stronger layer But protection laid down as a drying aid tends to not last as long

      It can be compared in that it is a ceramic spray sealant but what I like to do is use this as a drying aid especially on a vehicle that had touchless applied before.

    do you find when drying a car with ceramic spray as your aid that your drying towels get degraded due to the product gunking it up? I find that even after washing the towels in warm water with a dedicated microfiber wash like rags to riches my towel will streak next time I use it, almost like the spray wax is still in the fibers

    How do you think this would work as drying aid for someone using hard water? I dry vehicles in shade and if I dry well no spots, seems like this could only help get water off quicker?

    • @StaySlick
      @StaySlick  2 роки тому

      Yea the purpose of a drying aid is
      1. To aid in drying by creating lubrication and breaking the surface tension
      2. To soften the water and add protection with ok t needing that extra step.
