Unboxing and first impressions of the USKEYVISION WLZ1 | A Wide Angle & Macro Lens for the Sony ZV-1

- USKEYVISION sent me over their 18mm Wide Angle and Macro lens for the Sony ZV-1 camera to review (not sponsored - just my honest opinions). In this video I put it up against a similar (but much larger and heavier) lens adapter that I purchased in the past for the Sony ZV-1. In this video I go over the packing, "what you get in the box" and compare the size and weight of the two lens adapters and finally test out the wide angle and macro features of this lens!
Overall I personally like the build quality of this lens and I feel much more comfortable using this on the Sony ZV-1 compared to my other wide angle adapter due to the weight and form factor. I also think that the image and picture quality is great and well worth the $59 if you're looking to purchase a wide-angle lens (or macro lens) for your Sony ZV-1.

Hi, I fitted a lens adaptor on my ZV1, however, when I take it off the camera will no longer focus without it, put it back on and its fine, are you having this problem?

What lens adapter did you install on your camera? - Was it the JCC adapter? - I can only imagine that *maybe* the lens adapter is slightly in view of the camera lens and is causing this? - Maybe you could try removing the lens adapter and re-installing it (just to be sure)?
In answer to your question however - No, I've personally not had any focusing issues with or without a lens adapter installed on my Sony ZV-1.

CAN we put an ND filter on this lens ?

Having just measured the thread on the wide angle lens, it seems that it would be possible to install a 58mm ND filter onto the Wide-Angle lens.
