@@HikaruFER majority of the people such as myself who played during it's release to its peak years left or are inactive because of the past decisions nexon made over the years that ruined the game. I don't need to mention it all, you can just do your own research. I still think the game is beautiful and I come on in once a year or so just for the sake of nostalgia and then find out then it's never the same anymore with the lack of people playing and the grind that you are forced to do in order to actually play the game in its full. It's a fun game, but it was a collective experience back in the day.
@@gomiko8979 yeah but if I wanted to do a research I wouldn't have asked personally... With my question I mean "what do you think was one of the worst desicion the devs made for maple and why" from ur experience, not for som research online
@@HikaruFER Basically making changes that either hurt the players progress or made it a lot more tedious for no reason. Removing content without proper reasoning, notice or compensation, they recently removed an entire class because it was too hard for them to adapt the continuous GMS updates with the class (lots of bugs aswel due to spaggheti code), so instead they chose to remove it (some ppl were really invested in the class, upwards of lvl 270). They don't listen to their community, there's absolutely 0 communication between devs and players, so ppl are just scared of the next removal or 'rework' that punishes players.
Nail in the coffin for me was the removal of Totems, which we had for many, many years and players were already used to them. Made grinding a lot more tedious, resources a lot harder to obtain (especially nodestones), now we basically clear a map and wait like 2 seconds for mobs to respawn, which after like 30 mins gets boring
