I got a Peloton around when you did and I lost 70 lbs in about 6 months. I also did the weights and such too and counted my calories. Now I am in maintenance mode and loving life.

Just coming to the comments to say that if the bike seat is making you sore and keeping you from wanting to ride, Amazon has wide, cushioned seats that are SO much more comfortable and will make you enjoy your rides! 🥰 I just couldn’t get past the original seat even with a pad but the wide seat made all the difference!

So true!! I’m a mommy of 3! I’m the heaviest I’ve been in my life after baby number 3. I purchased the yesoul bike! Very similar to the Peleton. I LOVE your videos! You’re very inspiring! ❤❤

I couldn’t afford the Pelaton but I hacked it by buying a stationary bike like you mentioned, I believe it was around $300 and then I purchased the monthly Pelaton subscription for the videos! I hope to one day upgrade to the Pelaton because using the stationary bike is so fun you forget your working out, 18lbs down so far. Still have another 27 to but but slow and steady. Congrats on your amazing progress 🙌🏼

I got a score on fb marketplace and got my peloton used for $500 including 2 pairs of shoes in both mine and fiancées sizes, two mats, two water bottles and weights. I’ve had it for a couple months and just started consistently using it last week and have been feeling so great so far!! I love the classes, do you have a video of the specific workouts you like the best or routines for a strength. My core is my weakest point right now after two babies.

Proud of you and thank you for the inspiration! Over a year ago I did the whole off brand bike and app. But my $400 bike lasted less than 6 months and then the company was gone from Amazon and I couldn’t get any support to have it fixed or replaced. So now I’m finally going to go for the rental option from Peloton!

Well all I can say is you have to be disciplined. I love the classes but I like the scenic rides better. I’ve done the strengthening classes and yoga as well. But I’m not sure it’s worth the money for me. I don’t use it enough to justify the price. I was hoping the price would be an incentive for me to use it more but that hasn’t been the case. But the Peloton itself is great 👍

Idk about 11 months ago when this video was made but you can also buy toe cages for peleton pedals so if the cycling shoes scare you thinking of twisting ankles etc when locked onto a bike, (like me) then you can clip in the toe pedals and and wear your favourite comfortable trainers
You can rent peloton bikes now, and it includes the membership and shoes! I pay $93 a month for the standard bike!
I saw that option when I got mine! I pay a little less than that every month for mine

I had to get another seat, it made so much difference. The pain level of my lumber spine with herniated discs made the small seat acceptable, even with the padded biker shorts!

If you love music,, Pelton is the way to go 😊 , l live on the second floor it took 3male, to get, my stages sb20 up the stairs. At 70kg.

You will lose weight cycling, I was 10stone 7pounds back in 1992 , 19stone now. Started back cycling in March 2023 up to now October 6th. Level 16 on zwift cycling. 😊

Where can I find you to join you on your journey? I’m where you were last year. I had my baby is March but I lost 50lbs then I gained it back and some and I feel awful about myself and how I look I really struggle when it come to what I am eating and the food part is hard for me is hard.

It's 20kg heavier, than a sb20 stages bike and £30 a month more expensive than zwift cycling.
I have fibromyalgia and have had trouble with leg pain and cramps my whole childhood. I need to lose about 10-15lbs but I’m not sure if an exercise bike would be the best option for me but I’ve been looking into peloton and echelon brand. Do you recall with your experience with yours if you have to build up your legs in order to use it? Or do you have any leg pain or soreness from yours while you workout or afterwards?
When I first started riding I was so sore everywhere because I was REALLY out of shape. My butt hurt the worst & my legs were sore but not as bad as my butt lol. I notice my weight loss in my legs & stomach the most. They do have classes for beginners where you can build up your leg strength!

20 minutes! & then I would do a 30 minute once a week

You don’t have to but the membership is 100% worth the price! The classes are great
How often and for how long (ex: 30min, 4x/week?) did you ride your Peloton to lose 40lbs?
I did 20 minutes a day 4/5 days a week sometimes 6 days but most 4/5 days a week
