- I rode my soulcycle bike at home for two weeks straight -- wow! I love exercising, but this quarantine season has made it harder for me to move my body the way I used to.
THANKFULLY, I got an at-home soulcycle bike to put me back into my fitness routine! My soulcycle at home bike is an indoor cycling bike that allows me to take spin classes from home. Peloton is a very popular competitor, so I wanted to share with the world my own personal experience with the soulcycle at home bike. :)

You definitely don’t need a fancy shmancy over the top at-home equipment to workout. Find a way to get your body moving EVERYDAY! For me, this meant more than just finding a way to exercise. I’ve been able to connect back to all of the great feelings I’ve felt as a SoulCycle rider. Sooo many people have asked me how I feel about this bike versus the Peloton, so here are my in-depth thoughts! :)

Peloton junkie over here! 🙋🏻♀️ I could write a whole novel on why it’s better than soul cycle. But at the end of the day, if you’re working out and are happy, I 100% support you! I do feel obligated to warn you about my biggest concern with soul cycle: its safety. They tend to gravitate towards low resistance and high cadences out of saddle (i know it’s hard to know these numbers since there are no metrics on the screen, unlike peloton). So PLEASE be careful when out of saddle, and make sure you have enough resistance underneath your feet to support you and to prevent any injuries, especially lower back!! Love your content and your beautiful soul SO much! I’ll always support you 💛
before quarantine, i went to SoulCycle 3-4 times a week and i loved it! now my family has a peloton and it’s great, but i miss the vibes and community you get with SoulCycle! I love this video and hearing your thoughts!✨💓
The best part of the peloton is the app! The strength, yoga, meditation, outdoor running classes, and also the regular running classes you can take with any treadmill

Soulcycle Variis has all that stuff too! And it’s all included And you can stream it on your smart-TV. The video quality is much better with Variis than Peloton.
The reason the SpulCycle bike has limited music is that when streaming you need to buy the license for every song you use, and they haven’t quite figured that out yet.

I ❤️ my Peloton Bike. I started at Soul Cycle in Pasadena with Danielle. She’s the QUEEN 👑 I love the community and the energy in the room. I always walked out of class feeling stronger and like I could conquer the world. How ever, I would drive over an 1 to get get to Soul Cycle. When Peloton came out with their bike I was excited that I could ride from the comfort of my home and save time from traveling 2 hours. Thank you for sharing. I’m so happy I got my Peloton Bike

Thank you so much for your review! I too am going with Soulcycle at home for the same reason of being able to bring my favorite instructors home! That energy is what makes it all worth it on top of the fact that I’ll never miss a class. I took classes in Hollywood and West Hollywood where for certain sessions if you didn’t book early enough in advance they would be sold out and you’d have to wait. Problem solved now! Plus I love not having the whole leader board business and just focusing on the ride and hitting turns while listening to my body. I am so excited for this and again thank you very much!!
just ordered my soul bike! a reason the music is really repetitive is because thats what they got the licensing for at the moment (i know the instructor kathleen and she said she had to change her playlist a few times). peloton has actually gotten a lawsuit for playing unlicensed music so if they don’t win that some of their classes will have to be removed possibly, while you don’t have to worry about that with soul since they got approval beforehand. hope that helps explain the music situation!

peloton also has other workouts like cardio and strengthing classes that you do not need equipment for included in the app. I loved this comparison though btw!

Congrats on the big girl purchase! Love your vids. I have been thinking about getting a stationary+subscription bike so this video was very timely. Thanks for the comparions. Personally I cant go with Soul Cycle (due to the Trump fundraising and racial discrinimation lawsuits) but it was still good to know the price and options for my search. 2 times a week doesnt sound bad at all to get your moneys wort. How do you stay motivated to ensure it doesnt become a laundry rack? That is what concerns me the most for such a large purchase.
Would be interested to know how Peloton and Soul Cycle compare to Les Mills Stages bike and online content.

I would have loved to see the dynamics of the bike. I have a Peloton and the one thing that is difficult is clipping the shoes in and out. How easy is it to clip the shoes in and out on the Soul Cycle bike? How easy is it to move the seat forward and back?

Nice spin rig. I own a Peloton - it's been up and down for 2.5 years based on customer service and consistent service delivery. I abuse the heck out of it tho - I have my own gym setup and turn on strength classes etc just to have it as background or to modify my own routine into some circuits. I feel like their strength program should improve - they should slice their strength into multiple modalities. One size does not fit all. Bike is good but I feel like the Keiser M3i is a better deal over any other spin bike.
