This week we are looking at the Coleman Northstar Instant Up 4 Lighted DarkRoom Tent, see how it has held up after a tough 3 years.

Thanks for the long term review. I travel with the Reactive Outdoor 3 second tent; my adult son uses this when I fly him in for a trip (I live and work on the road).
The large model can fit a Q sized mattress but we employ a single 10cm Expedia mattress, which I carry, so there's room to store his gear. I also carry spare cotton blankets and sheets for Summer and a -10C goose down mummy bag for Winter. Ingress of light is not an issue and we use a rechargeable Lithium lantern from tent world for internal lighting.
