Dear Cornelius, that's the best Canto s leg choke analysis ever done. In addition would be very useful to demonstrate the physical preparation " to achieve successfully results when applying this choke. The main reason is because this choke requires speed and complex hip and legs movement and motion drive control.

Keenan, this is an excellent instructional video demonstrating this technique. I’ve been able to incorporate this attach into my closed and open guard. I’ve also had really great success using it off the take down (as you show in the video). I had never seen this choke before, thanks for posting.

Nice position keenan, you can attack from half-guard too, just passing the over leg above his head, squeezing the choke!

I tried this move multiple times with all the details and unfortunately almost never worked simply because they grab my left leg preventing the rotation... Even white belts. I like the choke and the idea a lot but it's almost impossible to pass that left leg in my experience.

You have to get the under-hook, and then bring your leg around the world for the finish
