Well, first off, unless you do the Hollow Knight or Sealed Siblings ending, the Radiance will be gone. Second off, the flower is from a distant land, and is presumably related to a different dream entity- one probably not as malevolent and violent. So... He'll be fine.
tip : the majority of enemy’s won’t respawn when you leave the room as long as you don’t sit at a bench , so if you do the run before you do it with the flower , without sitting most enmities will be gone and the run becomes easy ( so you can go through the acid rain rooms as long as you kill the bugs that spawn it before hand ) also you can set your dream warp at the flower quest start , so you don’t have to walk back
I think sheo accepts the flower if you don't save the nailsmith I remember seeing an image of sheo painting the flower, but it could be a mandela effect
The wiki doesn't mention it, so I think it's either a mandela effect, or you just saw some fanart. I would for one really like to offer the flower to Mato, he deserves one. Oh well. I suppose we can give it to those who most need hope?
btw if anyone else is attempting this I reccomend using the grubberfly’s elegy and overcharming, both of which have mitigated downsides during the challenge.

A funny experiment would be to give the flower to Breta and maybe try to let her stay in dirtmouth (this needs to be done before defeating zote in the arenas) and an other experiment would be to not save zote and see if something change with breta that make her stay.
Wow you are doing this the hard way. Just save at the closest bench to whomever you want to give the flower to, go get it, then quit to menu and reload your game. (This doesn't work for the original quest because accepting the flower from the Grey Mourner automatically sets you to the bench right outside.) Bravo for taking the much more difficult strategy purely for the amusement of your audience. That is dedication right there!

When transporting the one given by Grey Mourner, bench warping isnt an option. But if you take a flower from the mantis lovers grave, bench warling is possible
You can also do what I did and kill every enemy on the path before your attempt. Most won't respawn until you sit on a bench, which makes the travel a lot easier.
