I have never used a "Get OP in Elden Ring" Guide before but I am so happy that the algorithm pointed me to yours Ghost. This was so well made, explained and amazing. Thank you!
I went through the punishment the first day/week the game came out.. no guide, no help, no nothing. I feel like i deserve this.. thank you so much. (it probably took me over 40 hours to get to where you got me in this guide in about an hour)
First time elden ring and first souls game too. I’m literally going step by step with your video on a second screen. Very well made and extremely helpful and simple to follow even for a first timer like me. Great job LG
Not to be that guy buuut. I recommend you experience the first playthrough on your own and try to discover things yourself. These games are usually best enjoyed that way. Then come back and use guides whenever needed for subsequent playthroughs. Of course, do what you want it's only a recommendation.

Watched the whole guide on my day off and followed it pretty much 100% (I missed the twin imps summon somehow and had to go back to the Santa merchant to get his cracked pots) I was able to beat Godskin Noble on the first time! (On my last sleeping pot, thank god I had 4!) and this is super fun! Thanks so much for this guide. Liked and subbed on TWO accounts.
20 minutes into this guide, I absolutely love it. Ended up playing three hours only being 20 minutes in though because I keep side tracking and exploring. lol. Thanks again for the videos bro
Just wanted to come back and say this is such a great way to start playing elden ring. Ive been able to explore most of elden ring now, it really just opens up the game so i can adventure where i want. Chilling with the starscourge greatswords right now thanks for getting me there 😅
Thanks for this guide! Haven't played this game since 2022 and became rusty in the meantime. This'll make for a comfortable return to the Lands Between, but also an exciting new adventure because I've only experienced the mage play style. 🤗
New to Elden Ring, and had played about 10 hrs or so before I found this. It probably took me 5-6 hrs to get through this video, a good part of that trying to find places you didn’t really explain, in fact I couldn’t even find the wondrous flask upgrade near the end that you say is at a place, but you don’t show picking up at all. That’s fine, I’ll find it eventually. While I did watch all of it, I stopped after getting to the final boss zone for a break. I appreciate all the time you put into making this. It’s definitely hard to follow in some places, but it’s doable. This is my first dark souls type game, so needless to say, it’s an adjustment from most rpgs these days. I do wish there was some type of quest journal, because I started multiple quests following this that I’m sure I’ll forget about. I do wish there was some hint in game as to where the natural progression should be. Before this, I was mostly just wandering around aimlessly, finding myself in places I probably wasn’t equipped to handle. Which is what led me here. I guess I’ll have to find a quest wiki. My final thought will be a bit of advice to new players reading this who play on pc. Use a game pad. It definitely made it less difficult for me. Thanks again for the guide.
I legit think this is a great guide but to a lot of first time players I suggest forget the guide and explore on your own but maybe come back for a 2nd or 3rd. There is only a "first time" and I think the purest way is to embrace the adventure and the unknown.
Id loosely follow it until around the 28min mark then play as normal. Decent weapon you don’t have to use couple level ups decent talisman couple extra flasks and upgrade stuff if you choose to use it then play. It’ll decrease difficulty slightly but you won’t be stupid OP not learning anything. Maps will be easier to explore and traverse as well with some graces and fragments
If I have all the time in the world just to play this game then I'd play normally (never happens in RPG games for me because time is too precious) but I'm working/have a job and other chores in life so I choose the time-saving methods. Without these guides I'd probably stop/give up playing the game within a few hours and never touch it ever again.
Well, godskin decided that he will resist eepy sleepy granades, so i had to parkour my way out of volcano manor (no runes tho :((). Still, thanks a lot, cause i actually learned a lot from this tutorial
Followed the full guide. Last attempt. Literally the last sleep pot. Victory. Only Elden Ring can give you this sense of relief and satisfaction. Great guide! I did get the nearby Site of Grace though. For that after your initial "roll down" drop onto the lava there is a ladder at the end of that section but the ladder is on the left side of a balcony that you will be facing, so you'll have to look for it from a building top where you got Somber Smithing Stone 6 (I think). Climb the ladder, go all the way to the end then make the 90 degree jump to the other balcony and the Grace will be in the door on the left.
thank you so much for this build. i was looking everywhere for a good guide and yours was by far the most percise and easy to follow. keep up the good work
I did a bleed build my first playthrough and it ate enemies up, second play through I'm using a ghostflame build as I figured it's only fitting lol and I think it hits ridiculously hard, but some of the items for it are later game items but makes for a super fun +2 playthrough, you should look into doing a guide for it for + runs :D Loving the content and missing your face as always :D
knew you with eso builds: quitted the game after years of due service, and now i'm back on your channel for elden ring... looks like our pathes were meant to cross again sir :) glad to be here again, u still doing an awesome job !
It took me accumulatively 10 hours over a course of 3 days but this dude really knows how to put in the hard work so that we don't have to. Deserved sub.
Yes because these guide videos are usually recorded at 1.5-2x speed and don't take mistakes into account. I've tried following a '30 minutes' guide but in the end it took me around 3 hours. So I can safely assume this one will take at least a whole day or 2-3 days for me but I think it would be worthwhile because my Bloodhound Fang +5 improved my DMG significantly after following a different guide. Hopefully this guide will improve my character even more. I don't even care if I can't play this game 'normally' because I don't wanna spend hours/days just to defeat one 'boss' as I have a job and other chores in life.
Just got done. 10/10 walkthrough. Took me a few hours in total, although I ran off and explored and beat some bosses for 30ish hours lol but I had to come back in finish it at volcano manor. This build is a blast and it’s op even before finishing it.
Awesome. For those of us who have done the early game a few times now this is a pretty great quick start guide and using a larval tear, I can piviot in to pretty much any build I want. Thank you so much
Thank you man, this was one of the best guide vids i've ever seen. Not only did you show everything in detail, without skipping anything important but you also kept motivating me, making it seem doable. I had more issues with the godskin noble boss but the path was clear and i kept hearing your reassuring voice. You deserved a sub.
How I easily killed the godskin nobel is this, use Rotten Stray Ashes as a summons. That dog's bite causes bleed same as your bloodhound fang weapon. Hit the godskin noble a few times and let him get bit a few times. Then keep running away from godskin to stay alive and drink health flasks when needed. The bleed he's infected with will eventually kill him. Upgrading your Rotten Stray will help too. I actually killed him with only one hit from my halberd, it was all done with my dog biting him.
Followed this through all the way to the end! This will be my 6th or 7th playthrough on a brand new character. Looking forward to the pwnage!! Thanks much for putting this vid together for us! It is highly appreciated!!
That was awesome. I got stuck about a year ago and put the game down. Now that shadow of the Erdtree is out I want to finish elder ring and your video was a great refresher of everything. That was great. Thank you
Another warning about Godskin Noble. After you die the first time, You now have to traverse the fog, in which case he's just waiting for you and gives you no time to cast your stuff. So he'll probably kill you. And after you've traversed the fog and are in the room already, the guy outside can reach and hit you if you stay close to the door. Godskin can also hit you through the pillars in the room with his sword. So standing behind those won't help. So just run and roll a lot. I've wasted 9 sleeping pots now. Not sure if I'll try again.
Sleep him first. Lasts 60 seconds . Plenty of time to buff. Definitely step away from door so guy doesn't hit you through the wall from behind. Once you get the hang of the sleep pots it's easy street
@@LuckyGhostit's getting the hang of the sleeping pots while his rapier can hit you from twenty feet away and the music is telling you to pee your pants that's the problem. That's not even mentioning the blob roll he goes into after your second attack that is sure to have you messing up all the precise controller work involved here. It's not impossible though. I FINALLY did it after ten attempts (thank God we farmed those Lillies!). I just kept telling myself like Anthony Hopkins says in The Edge, "What one man can do another can do!"
Ty. When I played Elden Ring two years ago, everyone it seemed was all about getting the sword of Night and Flame first. I like this version better because Bloodhound Fang is great 👍. I haven't touched Elden Ring in two years. This guide encourages me to jump back in.
Bro I watched your vids for elder scrolls and now Im getting back into Elden ring and wanted a samurai build then BOOM 💥 lucky ghost pops up yesssssir man I needed this
I got the game as a gift on Xbox S when it first came out, 500 hours of gameplay. I got all the endings, but now I have a PS5, and I wanted to enjoy the DLC at a higher fps and resolution; unfortunately, there's no cross-save progression, and this is the fastest way I might be able to beat Mogh to play the DLC. It saved me a lot of time. Thanks
Pretty much the same. 100% on PS4 but decided to go PC route for the DLC since have recently started accepting that I can use a controller on there. Unfortunately means starting over and cannot be bothered to do that from basic again, so this guide will help give me the boost I need.
omg thank youu so much for this guide, i had so much trouble with the boss since sometimes the sleeping potion would just go right through him so what i ended up doing was level up my fanged imps to +5 and came back to him then while he was distracted i managed to put him to sleep and just kept attacking him loads!!
So I practiced and practiced before going to the boss. Then I got in the room and couldn't remember how to cast any spells. My brain just froze. Luckily I didn't waste any pots. Gonna try again tomorrow when I'm fresh and not too tired to think.
youre a life saver, that somber smithing stone 7 was something i was stuck on. i have my weapon on plus 6, and i was just going around killing mobs and bosses so i can level up, and also try and get better so i can fight Pillsbury dough boy. there are work arounds, like using the self destruction spell so you can cheese that jump. but i would rather do what you did here
havent watch video but accoridng all positive comments i found my fav youtuber for elden ring i just purchased game and gonna finish it this time while ago i got halfway and i stopped playing it
Another tip for new players is to use a shield. A decent 100% shield can be incredibly useful for some bosses or just general exploration, and I usually carry one or keep it close at hand in any build I make should the need arise. Any kite or heater shield will have 100% physical damage reduction, meaning you will take no damage from physical attacks while blocking. They’re also fairly light, not putting too much burden on your equip load. A solid early option is the Beast Crest Heater Shield, which is located in a chest in the encampment right below where he grabbed the Golden Vow Ash of War in this video. It’s near the Warmaster’s Shack Site of Grace. Another slightly heavier but overall better option for a shield is the Brass Shield, which is statistically one of the best medium shield in the entire game. It’s the big gold Dorito looking shield you see the Godrick soldiers carrying around. You can easily farm it from the soldiers at the Gatefront Ruins where he picked up the Whetstone Knife at the beginning of the video. For Ashes of War I would either use “No Skill,” which can be bought from Bernahl at Warmaster’s Shack so you can quickly use the Bloodhound’s Fang Ash of War without two handing it, or “Barricade Shield,” which drops from the Night’s Cavalry boss at the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace in Weeping Peninsula, keep in mind it must be night time for them to spawn. Barricade Shield increases the guard boost on your equipped shield and allows you to block most attacks with ease, even from larger enemies and bosses. With the Barricade Shield AOW on the Brass Shield you’ll be pretty tanky and will have really high guard boost while blocking. Combine that with guard counters and the high damage from the upgraded Bloodhound’s Fang and you’ll be in business.
Once again, your video is brilliant and shines far above the vast majority out there. One of the best by far.Thankyou for sharing this.Cheers!! Amazing game Bigtime! Liked and subscribed. 😊
Great guide 👍🏻 killed the godskin on my 3rd attempt, but after that on the way to the somber stone 7 I died like 15 times 😅. So happy I finally got it, thank you
The "don't panic, stay calm" advice during the Godskin fight was very helpful 😂. I absolutely pissed my pants and threw 16 sleep bombs into the columns in the room, while slashing away at this maniacal blob with my dinky little dagger instead of my Bloodhound because I kept forgetting to switch out. There's just no way NOT to panic when you're facing one of the hardest bosses in the game with 18 vigor and have to hit him with finite resources with pinpoint accuracy! That said, this is one of THE best guides on YT and completely doable if you take the four or five hours to follow it step by step. The investment is worth the reward.
I first purchased Elden ring when it came out and played for like a couple hours then got bored or lost, I heard the DLC was coming out and thought why not try again. This guide has made the experience so much more enjoyable. I think ive liked about 6 videos in my entire time watching youtube, this like was worth it more than anything.
I don't know if it's an issue but the imp fog door in volcano manor cost me 2 stonesword keys. Also after the drops you do after the fog, instead of running straight out the door to somber 7, you can go the opposite direction and hit a grace first. Not nitpicking here. I truly loved this guide. It is so well done!
Great video man like a lot of others in the comments I am a new player first souls like game. The game is gorgeous and actually take skill which I like, always up for the challenge! Started with vegabond using great sword but after 20 or so hours I've hit a brick wall and can't progress. Build has helped tremendously no doubt. Instant subscribe preciate it man!!
Before you slay the dragon for 100k runes there’s a huge opportunity to lure the nights Calvary that’s very close off the edge to get an extra 45k runes, plus a graveyard and grace next to it

Excellent Guide! I followed without any issues. Great OP build, and fun to explore. Feels like a quick tour of the key areas of the game lol. I will say though, in the video it was said that there would be shown a way out of Volcano Manor. I had to jump to a different video to find the closest grace to get out. That being said, this was an amazing guide! Thank you
Your guide got me stuck 😂😂 so much for an easy guide. The whole plan is around sleep pots but what happens when the boss makes you waste them all and then you can’t leave because you don’t show us the alternate route for those that can’t beat the boss
Super cool guide. My first time playing. Nearly gave up after failing several attempts vs the godskin noble. Finally made it through with my final batch of six pots with only 3 to spare. Very stressful boss fight, but your guide was indespensible. Probably ought to have mentioned locking on to the boss first for us newbie pot throwers, but hey. Maybe also link a vid of that escape route you mentioned for those that were not so lucky. Also noticed after grabbing somber 7 stone, how did you raise that bridge? For now i’m just teleporting out of here. Thanks!
Bloodhound’s Fang is so OP it’s not even funny lol. The fact that you can get it and upgrade it at the very start of the game is insane. It’s probably the most beginner friendly weapon in the entire game imo. It’s got so much going for it as a weapon: it does great damage, has innate bleed buildup, it can be buffed with spells like Bloodflame Blade, it takes Somber Stones rather than regular smithing stones as upgrade materials so it can be maxed faster, it’s Ash of War has great utility and can be used as a dodge for mobility and it gives you a few seconds of i-frames, and it’s not written in the game description but it also has like a 10% native boost to jump attacks that stacks with the Claw Talisman which can also be obtained early in Stormveil. All in all, it’s a freaking fantastic weapon that’s a serious contender for all around best in the game tbh. It’ll essentially carry you through the entire game and NG+ without the need to ever swap it out, unless you’re just getting bored of it and want to try something else. A cool pairing for it is Morgott’s sword you get from his Remembrance, as it’s another curved greatsword with innate bleed damage. You can equip it in your off hand to have a dual wield power stance moveset, which is really strong. Morgott’s sword also takes Somber Stones to upgrade, and should work just fine until you get into NG+ and have access to another Bloodhound’s Fang.
Thank you so much this build carried me to good part of the dlc with new account even though I got new weapons I sometimes used same build when I struggle
Awesome video helped me a bunch as a newer player but i have to admit i could not do the strat right for godskin noble and i can't kill him i missed my sleep pots in a panic :(
I bought this game on release and always put off playing it, now with patches most guides are out of date, this couldn't have come at a better time right when I decided to give it a go.
Nice guide, but admittedly it will take much longer than an hour, if you play the game normally. A note on the Volcano Manor: I found myself that I could not beat the Godskin noble with described set up, maybe I have clunky fingers, it is a better idea to follow after the initial jump down, all the way to the ladder on the end of the area, climb up, jump over the balcony and activate that grace. (Guest Hall Grace) Also you can now return, level up and try again! Before that you can follow the way described here, but just before the Godskin Noble go to the left and activate the bridge, so you can reach the boss from the other side! Because every time you loose to the Godskin noble you have to start over and it is really frustrating.
If anyone wants a guide for finding the Guest Hall Mark of Grace, search " ELDEN RING - UNLOCK VOLCANO MANOR GUEST HALL GRACE SITE SUPER EARLY FROM RAYA LUCARIA"
I tried this and the door says "cannot open from the inside." im stuck and cant beat Godskin Noble and im out of sleeping potions. RIP. guess i quit the game?

Watched the whole guide on my day off and followed it pretty much 100% (I missed the twin imps summon somehow and had to go back to the Santa merchant to get his cracked pots) I was able to beat Godskin Noble on the first time! (On my last sleeping pot, thank god I had 4!) and this is super fun! Thanks so much for this guide. Liked and subbed on TWO accounts.
20 minutes into this guide, I absolutely love it. Ended up playing three hours only being 20 minutes in though because I keep side tracking and exploring. lol. Thanks again for the videos bro
Hell ya glad to hear it!
Hope you enjoy it!
Damn I just started my first soul series with Elden ring n omg how did I ended up here. I have a job n family and I can’t. 😂😂😂😂
Really struggling to make that jump
thank you so much for this build. i was looking everywhere for a good guide and yours was by far the most percise and easy to follow. keep up the good work
I did a bleed build my first playthrough and it ate enemies up, second play through I'm using a ghostflame build as I figured it's only fitting lol and I think it hits ridiculously hard, but some of the items for it are later game items but makes for a super fun +2 playthrough, you should look into doing a guide for it for + runs :D Loving the content and missing your face as always :D
knew you with eso builds: quitted the game after years of due service, and now i'm back on your channel for elden ring... looks like our pathes were meant to cross again sir :)
glad to be here again, u still doing an awesome job !
Above and beyond guide! I’m returning for the dlc and wanted a fresh play through. This build is insane! Thank you!!
I neeed hep 😢
@@Juliowasheree then watch the video
These guides are amazing, good flow and it makes the game less tedious especially on a new build, thank you.
@@LuckyGhost For me it only seems to last like 15 seconds
@@LuckyGhostit's getting the hang of the sleeping pots while his rapier can hit you from twenty feet away and the music is telling you to pee your pants that's the problem. That's not even mentioning the blob roll he goes into after your second attack that is sure to have you messing up all the precise controller work involved here. It's not impossible though.
I FINALLY did it after ten attempts (thank God we farmed those Lillies!). I just kept telling myself like Anthony Hopkins says in The Edge, "What one man can do another can do!"
How tf do you get back to him? I woke up in the manor after getting hit in the back by the guy outside and have no clue how to make it back...
There is no way I am going it be able to beat the fat boss guy so defeated feeling right now 😢
Thank you so much I used this for my new game plus 1 and it’s so good. Respect
A very concise video, it only took me one hour (ahem nine hours) to complete.
Now I'm... slightly less stoppable! Take that, game!
can you do a video how to proceed further with this build up to the dlc?
🎉
Ty. When I played Elden Ring two years ago, everyone it seemed was all about getting the sword of Night and Flame first.
I like this version better because Bloodhound Fang is great 👍.
I haven't touched Elden Ring in two years. This guide encourages me to jump back in.
Bro I watched your vids for elder scrolls and now Im getting back into Elden ring and wanted a samurai build then BOOM 💥 lucky ghost pops up yesssssir man I needed this
hell ya, welcome back
you weren't kidding about this build it's like a totally different game SO MUCH FUN ❤🔥
Thanks
That's exactly what I'm doing. Switching from Xbox to PS5 to play elden ring at a higher fps and res
My son bought me this game for Father's Day, looking forward to your guide Lucky! Thanks as always. Muchvlove from Vegas!

Amazing guide i started at 2:30 PM now its around midnight so worth it. I could not kill godskin but oh well.
I came back and beat godskin!
me: this should be easy!!!
meanwhile:
video timestamp: 14m
playtime on the new save file: 2h18m
ill get there eventually!
Smart post for all the people doing new game+ and dlc 🎉
Great guide 👍🏻 killed the godskin on my 3rd attempt, but after that on the way to the somber stone 7 I died like 15 times 😅. So happy I finally got it, thank you
I finally did it! Thank you for this guide. Its fantastic. Thumbs up and subbed!
The investment is worth the reward.
thank you lucky ghost! happy to see you cover elden ring too been following ya since i started on ESO 5 years ago. love the content!
thanks a ton! glad you are still enjoying the content :D
You continue to amaze me with your quality guides! Thank you so much for all of your efforts!!! ❤
I first purchased Elden ring when it came out and played for like a couple hours then got bored or lost, I heard the DLC was coming out and thought why not try again.
This guide has made the experience so much more enjoyable.
I think ive liked about 6 videos in my entire time watching youtube, this like was worth it more than anything.
i still find myself loading in, wandering, getting bored then leaving. Miss them when they were linear.
Welcome aboard!
Before you slay the dragon for 100k runes there’s a huge opportunity to lure the nights Calvary that’s very close off the edge to get an extra 45k runes, plus a graveyard and grace next to it
This is great! I was intimidated about leaving sorcerer behind but this has me excited for those harder bosses.
Finishing the last part of the guide in the morning but thank you so much dude, I had wasted all of my Trina lilies that you showed me how to get and lost all hope but after hunting them down to different times after losing them again I beat him lol

Was thinking to play Elden Ring and this video was recommended. Thanks for the info.
Awesome video helped me a bunch as a newer player but i have to admit i could not do the strat right for godskin noble and i can't kill him i missed my sleep pots in a panic :(
Switched to ps5 from Xbox so I’m back following again
Awesome video! Followed it up step by step. Thanks you so much! Now we need a follow up video of how to upgrade this build for end game and dlc
I bought this game on release and always put off playing it, now with patches most guides are out of date, this couldn't have come at a better time right when I decided to give it a go.
I started several times but it didn't click for me. Maybe this guide / build will kick it off.

Awesome, thank you! I appreciate that!
This was sooo worth it and so fun to do😂😂😂😂 started at 6pm last night and finished it this morning 😂😂😂
Nice guide, but admittedly it will take much longer than an hour, if you play the game normally.
A note on the Volcano Manor:
I found myself that I could not beat the Godskin noble with described set up, maybe I have clunky fingers, it is a better idea to follow after the initial jump down, all the way to the ladder on the end of the area, climb up, jump over the balcony and activate that grace.
@@kylecampbell3 you cant go through the door you have to jump over the balcony to the adjacent balcony then you can open that door from the other side.
