"... or learn complex navigations systems in an antiquated Russian aircraft can be annoying." Buddy, you got my number. I'm enamored with the Wilga, but just keeping the engine running during maneuvers can be a test. You're right about the KitFox. For me it's like a really nice ATV for the sky. Well done, this. Thank you.
Great video as always. As someone who's looking into getting into DCS your vids are quickly becoming my go-to for info and entertainment. Side question: It's the complete opposite of a sim from a gameplay perspective, but have you ever played any of the Ace Combat games? While the stories are cheesy and the gameplay is arcadey (both in a good way), they always do a pretty nice job at modeling aircraft and diving into aeronautical tech history for the games. Especially for a non-sim.
I’ve dabbled a little with Ace Combat. The story lines are good, although the voice acting is somewhat cringeworthy. The aircraft models are excellent and cutscenes very cool, however, the reloading of weapons in the air isn’t my cup of tea. While they serve a purpose in entertainment and they have a broad appeal, they’re not my favourite. FS on the other hand…
@@TacticalPascale Totally fair. One of my favorite aspects is their genuine love for aviation history. Just last year Ace Combat 7 got a DLC pack that included some really cool experimental aircraft including the FB-22 Strike Raptor, a delta wing Fighting Falcon, and that weird prototype VTOL Eagle. Just stuff like that you don't really see elsewhere impresses me. Just due to the nature of information being largely classified, something like that probably can't work well in DCS though. Still, thanks for taking the time to answer. You've made a new longtime viewer.
@@TacticalPascale Yeah, I feel for him having that hanging over your head for so long. Pretty crazy precident though, you MUST land even if you don't think it is safe. If this doesn't get over turned, this is going to kill bush flying. The fact they used material from a copy to make measurements is just nuts. Sounds like a 100% hatchet job to me.

Great plane, and great flying with you, mate!
It was a blast, we need to find some cool places now
Amazing! Almost felt like I was in one of Trenton’s videos watching you fly 😂
Damn, MSFS lookin' mighty good in this.
It’s gets better every update
Is it weird that setting up the tent next to it is what really sold me on this?
That’s what go Pyles too 🤣. I landed in the back end of nowhere, shutdown, pitched the tent and heard wolves howling. Pretty cool.
Love this aircraft! New to the channel...just subscribed!
Welcome along, and thanks for watching

@@Chamomileable Thanks for watching and welcome!
Trent Palmer rules!
He does indeed.
I guess that a super fast, smooth and reliable internet connection is mandatory
Not really. You can play with online data turned off
@@TacticalPascale I guess you can once cached a ton of data locally
How do you get to the scenes
Type in the airfield as your starting point 42MM 42BC
@@TacticalPascale thank you so much.
You are most welcome
Akward that he is grounded atm due to his licence being suspended. :S
For no good reason listening to the story of it all.
