I'm in east Orlando. Been a Floridian since 1988. Lived through countless tropical storms and hurricanes over the years. At 61 years of age, I am still in awe of mother nature when she is angry and needs to clean house. We are Floridians because we love our state. We love our warm weather and our incredible sunrises/sunsets. This is our home - and to live here, we understand that we sometimes have to pay the piper her dues to enjoy our section of paradise. Thank-you, Jeff for the ride along. Still blows my mind how detailed this stuff is. Just amazing.
The subtle background music in the beginning was a good touch. It built some good tension for the gnarly flight to come!
I just finished the same flight but a few hours later. Beyond ATC scoulded me for reporting extreme turbulence on a simulator. Said she would get her magic wand. I love this sim.
I had a great flight in a TBM930 in MSFS VR for a couple of hours when it was about four hours from landfall, felt like there were hundreds of other people flying around as well. Just amazing what the game re-creates, I had the wind vector enabled on the PFD and saw it get up to 88 knots. Flew back into St. Petersburg, zero vis of course, got down to about 100 feet and got punched out of the sky, was crazy. Of course being MSFS I could slew up again and go around and was fine next attempt.
Really, really enjoyed this video Jeff. The different views and the music were great touches. Thank you!
Impressive stuff Jeff, great work with the edit. I appreciate the use of music, it sets the tone without being intrusive.
Most engaging msfs hurricane video I've ever seen lol good work
Also those clouds look incredible. so impressed with this sim
I live in Missouri too. Excellent content.
These MSFS videos are excellent. I appreciate the variety you do on your channel Jeff Keep up the great work and have a great night, take care. Thoughts and prayers to those who are in the areas that the hurricane will hit.
Hello again Jeff my name is Keith, I stay in Jacksonville Florida Zone 6 we’re going to get hit nd flooded, but I got all 4 of my portable chargers, so through the whole thing I’ll be watching your videos, Thank you so much man. I’ll keep you updated brother love the videos by the way!!!❤️❤️❤️ oh nd I love you❤️

One of my many cousin's is stationed down in Florida in the Military. My thought's and prayers to ALL who are goanna be and have been effected by these terrible storms down south. Love the content Jeff keep up the great work.
Firstly I'd like to day I'm thinking of y'all in Florida as Milton moves, stay safe!
That was an awesome flight Captain Jeff - editing style and music is definitely on point as usual, oh boy that up down drafts and tail wind was insane!
Stay safe Jeff
Hopefully 2024 will depict hurricanes better
Yup, I do hope everyone evacuated in zone A for sure. Jeff cool video. I had an uncle do that for years, he loved it.
Be safe during the storm my family lives in Bradenton, which is where I grew up so praying for everyone's safety. Love your videos jeff thank you
These videos are so awesome!! PJs transformed into real workhorses are my favorite aircraft, especially gonzo, those winds were nothing for him!
This was an awesome video I enjoyed this alot and loved it and they are saying that milton is now a cat 5 hurricane and they had tampa and other areas like st Pete and stuff they had mandatory evacuations in place. They are saying this thing is gonna be pretty bad and that the storm surge is gonne be deadly and tampa is gonna get hit pretty hard and I'm in orlando and we gonna get some of it too but not as bad as tampa is gonna get it tampa is a direct hit. Anyway thanks for keeping all of us in ur thoughts and thanks for thinking of everybody. And thanks for taking some of the stress away and I enjoyed this and loved it alot keep up the great work much love to ya have a good one take care god bless and I will see ya on the next one brother.
I flew from Tampa to Cancun during nighttime. Went right through Milton at FL380. It was a light show below the plane. Very beautiful.
I've been waiting for this!! Excited to watch!
The addition of the music reminds me of something I would’ve watched on Science/Discovery/National Geographic channels back in the day. Good stuff!!
Jeff is the only one who makes me watch airplanes, and i enjoyed that. Also the shots while landing, idk i kinda can see the passion for it. And its beatifull to see. Thats was cool, i hope everyone is okay because of the hurricane irl.
I jumped into the sim to check out the storm just after work. There was a very distinct eye, absolutely wild. Its all fun and games in the sim but I really hope everyone in the path is prepared and stays safe.
I was thinking about you when they started predicting the storm path into Tampa. Glad you aren't there anymore. But I am praying for those who do live there and for those who were unable to evacuate.
I did the same thing yesterday. Tampa - Hurricane. Flew around it for 2-3 hours
Great video Jeff, I like the background music gives a more cinematic experience.
Stay safe Jeff hope everyone is doing alright. Love the OCRP videos as always
The level of detail in these clouds in Fs2020 is impressive.
Ha, ha Jeff! Very cool! Honorary storm tracker! Some very cool shots on the external camera! Cheers!
Ahh loved that video I don’t know how you were able to keep control through that cell👌🏻
Clouds look amazing, not sure how this vid came up on my recommend vids but I’m more than satisfied, you got a new subscriber to see what more you’ve got.
Stay safe jeff
Great video as always, love it.
How did you make you’re game look like that are you using any mods and if so which ones
Hoping you're good as well Jeff, and everyone in Florida. I'll be donating to the efforts.
I basically did this earlier today. Took off from Sarasota in an Icon A5 with those crazy hurricane winds blowing me all over. What a wild ride.
Just done this flight right now, with the duke piston. This game is awesome.
Jeff you would have had a blast doing some storm chasing here earlier today in Florida. Some monster ones. We’re getting a good deal of wind and rain here in Lake Wales (South Central Polk County). Have fun !
Lance have his cooler beside the pilot seat. Lol. That would be funny.
in inner Tampa riding it out 😭 hope we make it
@@daygenhall6126I don't know really, Figured it wont be too bad in my area, Im more inland. I would like to be here as well to help with clean up and search efforts if need be.
@@daygenhall6126 I don't know really. I am more inland, and figured it wont be too bad. I would also like to help with clean up and recovery/search efforts if need be
Here for the landing again
Music was nice touch sense of tension and uncertainty.
Im in Vero Beach, East of you. We expect it to be bad here, but not nearly as bad as the Gulf side. Please stay safe over there!
Very nice job on landing.
I'm in the flight Sim and what's amazing that you can see the sun setting during the hurricane it is beautiful I'm at the airport in Tampa
Currently as of right now Hurricane Milton is considered category 6 so it did go up plus after that we have three more Hurricanes to deal with after this one. Also the third hurricane incoming followed by the others looks to be the worst storm ever since it's larger built size My sister last night showed me so that's how I know this. Stay safe and best of luck out there everyone .
@@ThomasMiller-q4v yeah I wouldn't look into that too much, people are fear mongering over a GFS model that isn't remotely close to accurate.
South Carolina supposed to be like Florida… like the other hurricane recently.
I'm in St Petersburg close to Tampa and we're supposed to be getting hit pretty much directly not looking good for us at all hopefully it's supposed to downgrade before it hits landfall but still will be a very deadly hurricane with real huge storm surge and strong winds and I know my house is not built to withstand hurricanes that big I've been through Category 2 and 3 close by but not a 4 or Category 5 hitting directly on my County so wish me luck prayers for everybody in Florida in the path of this hurricane and the people that were hit recently by Helen which we are still recovering from in certain areas and now we're getting hit again directly none of the debris has even been picked up from the first one so it's going to be a disaster but we got to keep our faith and let God take the wheel wish I would have evacuated but it's too late now tomorrow is when it's going to hit and it's going to be very crazy for the next couple months for my area if not longer so wish us luck and prayers thank you everybody and Jeff for keeping me entertained and my mind off of thinking about this all night God bless everybody
@@Mountain_Flyer yeah I tried but I have a disabled mom that can't be moved without oxygen and wheelchair and we can't afford a Mobility transportation or could find one in time that would do it as Charity she didn't want to leave even if I found one and I couldn't leave her alone she wouldn't make it without power I have to run the generator to keep oxygen running if power Runs Out and I only have enough gas for a couple days if that. until gas stations or electricity back on thanks for the prayers we are getting hit hard right now as I text this
What an incredible flight don't do this in real life
I'm in Jacksonville FL we aren't supposed to get hit directly by it. But I live in a camper and on the creek with a tree bigger than my camper leaning over it I'm quite scared of this hurricane now. Hopefully I won't Die if I do I want to say great channel man
I saw the p3 Orion and the noaa gulfstream takeoff from Lakeland. They have been going to this hurricane frequently and staying in the eye wall for most of the day. So noaa planes have been very busy
Did this yesterday in 737-800. saved the settings in active sky for future use too
Jeff hope you didn’t experience too much damage. Made it through without any here in Pasco county.
Be safe Jeff 💪
I was wondering what Milton would look like in flight sim, and of course Jeff just made a video on it
My thoughts and best wishes are with everyone that was in the path of Francine and that is in the path of Milton.
Storm videooooooooo!!!! Gonna get some good sleep before it smacks us.
It would be fun to watch you attempt a landing in the hurricane.
I live in Orlando no flooding here but there is some tore up palm tree debris and some minor damage but not to much "at least in the part of orlando that I live in" but I was suppose to get the worst here and we didn't but for everyone who did I hope you guys are okay, safe, and have a house
My brother just got back from Cozumel on a cruise Monday if they would have came back Tuesday instead they would have went through some rough waters
Wooooooo turbulence
We got this fam. Aint the first one wont be the last
Jeez these hurricanes can knock it off already… I mean in Missouri I deal with tornadoes and stuff but that stuff is crazy. Stay safe everyone is Florida
@@jfavignano it’s like tornado season in friggin iowa this year these poor people can’t catch a break…
Yesss
I’m in Naples wish all the best for everyone
prays to the folks in FL. good one jeff but why not use a trubo prop have you flown the devils triangle
I’m in cuncun we were a direct hit we got last night with heavy rain then today apparently it’s meant to make landfall 😮😮 what am amazing holiday this is lol 😮
Very nice
I just got back from a surf. Will be out there streaming and surfing with my surfing headset go-pro Star Link live during the worst of it. Hope to bring some sweet vids while I live! Be wearing full kevlar space suit with O2 tanks rates for 5000 kT TNT.
Hey Jeff love the video hope you and your family are doing well question will you be revisiting NYC Emergencies
Great video.
Love your video
Awesome video. You can really get the feel of the hurricane.
On a sidenote: When replaying the landing, how do you manage to keep the movements so smooth? I always get them jerky, especially the zooms. Any trick to it?
so I failed on this one but I was just hand using the drone cam. Now I figured out how to get things even better. You just reset the showcase cam lock to the airplane and turn off follow mode. Move the camera where you want like where the airplane touches down off to the side. Zoom in and you will notice the airplane is not in the shot, turn off the lock mode and tilt the camera down with the drone and then lock it again. Once you have that down you are golden, in my recent video with the C-130 I did it via this method and I love the results.
@@jfavignano Interesting! The lock mode is so wonky, I never figured out the logic. I'm going to try this. Thanks!
There is a good reason why Hurricane Watchers eg NOAA don’t fly into hurricanes in jet engined aircraft. 1. They might suffer from catastrophic “blow-back” from quantity of driven rainwater turbulence influx and then 2. Suffering from engine failure plus going too fast through turbulence can be catastrophic unless flying at extreme altitude . That’s why they fly powerful turboprops such as P3 Orion with its powerful Allison T56-A14 enduraznce engines, or C130. Get with the realism programme!
Now, who in their right mind, would fly a business jet through a Hurricane??!! Oh yeah, sorry, Jeff Favignano would!!! Let's pray we all live through this.
Im keeping up with the storm from Ryan Hall Yall he does a really good job on storms with his team
When are you gonna do some American truck seminar? All youtube
Is this a payware airplane? If so which one? Thanks Jeff, love the videos!
Its the Cessna Citation Longitude. Its comes with the Premium Deluxe Edition of MSFS.
I live in ocala Fl and we are getting hit hard but we ain't leaving
While I love these things in Simulators, I really don't like them IRL. We are crying uncle down here in FL. That said, I bet it was fun flying through this.
How are you getting weather in the Longitude? I can't seem to get mine to show any??
If you’re riding it out take care.
Its been a while since I really paid attention to the aircraft used, but I thought they used a bigger craft like a C-130 Hercules to prob hurricanes?
NOAA uses the P3 Orion and Gulfstream IV (what I am trying to replicate here) however yes the WC-130 is used by the Hurricane Hunters. The C-130 avail doesn't have the best equipment to monitor.
@@jfavignano As many variants of the 130 in the real world, I would imagine it would be impossible to put them all in the game.
Hey Jeff just wanted to ask what scenery you use for KSTL? I want to get one but I don't know which one to go with.
Idk how you didnt slam into the ocean!
I'm in wildwood FL and ready for the storm and Jeff do they have a c130 hurricane hunter
I’m in Lakeland preparing for no power
is this default turbulence and weather ?? how did you experience this turbulence?
When you do the flight controls check does it ever highlight issues?
yep it's mainly to check that your stuff is plugged in and working before you try to take off haha
Stay safe everyone!
Hi Jeff any chance you could do a senior citizen bike riders via the geriatric Lost MC who escaped from the senior living community
What are your weather settings? Just set to live weather, or is there more to it?
I could not find any hurricanes in the game in the last days, and when I ask on reddit I just get made fun of.
The last hurricane 🌀 that hit GA, hit dublin knocked out the power for at least 5 days I my self saw the eye wall and 150 people felt the wind when it hit.
I had a 1556 kilo bar at Hooters 😅😅😅🎉🎉🎉🎉
Im in Sarasota and could be a direct hit, we are all prepped for Milton. Pray for us and wish us Luck! Love your vids Jeff! Thank you for taking some stress off the situation.
