I think i heard you say on the brakes when you retracted the landing gear. I can tell you what happened to me back in 1994. i retired from the airlines after 35 years in 2023 and one of the planes i flew was the Saab 340. i flew the Saab 10k hours over 11 years and the plane i flew before the Saab was the Metro liner SA227 and i would tap the brakes to stop the wheels when the gear was retracted. So i tapped the brakes on the Saab also . The Saab has anti lock brakes. One night after takeoff when the gear was coming up i tapped the brakes and later after about an hour we noticed we had lost almost all the hydraulic fluid. Landed safely but had to get towed to the gate. The brake caliber on number 2 wheel had broken at the top and bottom and was completely missing. So maybe the sudden stop caused it to break and so i quit tapping the brakes. Thanks for the video.
Tapping the breaks is a good practice. The repeated extra stress on the gear due to gyroscopic procession when you don't tap the brakes has a far greater probability of causing a problem than the isolated incident you experienced. If you want to get an idea of how much extra force is required to retract the gear with the wheels spinning go fly something like a C model Mooney with manual gear and experience the difference yourself.

What all us old guys forget is how quickly the young brain of (our former) youth of a 20-somethings can absorb information, process it, and make decisions. Its Why the military always has used 20-somethings in this in new innovations in war tech. Us old guys' brains become inelastic, harder to train. Young brains learn, absorb, react, correct, repeat.
Agree . When I started fly I was 14. Friends at church had a plane and gave ma a great education. Funny thing I thought it was no big deal. Learning was super easy. And I soloed at 16. Had a stroke in my 40’s that ended my flying. Was good while it lasted
Dude all the militaries in the world use 20 year old kids because of their youth, inexperience and testosterone rush; they can go for dying easily 😂 you can not expect a 35-40 year old guy for dying because his brain start working and don’t go to war and die or became crippled for politics
The Cirrus vision, along with the piston SR 22, are among the coolest aircraft--amazing tech as shown by this fine young pilot who shows such a relaxed attitude, like my own CFI once did when I began fixed wing light sport lessons when I was 45, in 06. His name was Jason Bullard, a fine young adult not quite half my age. I learned on a steam gauge Allegro 2000 but also took a lesson in a glass cockpit Zenith low wing. Two years later, I learned to fly trikes in Arizona and New Mexico, which with nothing but air beneath ones feet is as close to being a real bird--with only a trapeze for pitch and roll and also the control is opposite fixed wing. But the safety of the flight is the same, though the speed is much lower, only 45mph in a single place trike at cruise with a 28 hp engine. Two place trikes generally cruise faster, around 60-70 mph. I remember practicing turns around a point in my CFI's trike at 2000 feet in 20 knot winds aloft, and engine out landings in a desert wash near Brenda, AZ. I have also enjoyed a Luscombe flight in PA once, my only grass field takeoff and landing, until an embedded thunderstorm cut the tail dragger flight short and we landed just as the rain started to fall. It was my only flight in a taildragger but despite some saying a Luscombe is hard to fly, it is wonderfully harmonized and wonderful with metal wings, and easy to taxi on grass. The only drawback is I had to start it with a qtr pull of my arm, behind the prop, after its owner took right seat after giving me a brief lesson. Amazing for an engine that was over 50 years old but with great compressions. Thanks for letting me share and your share of the amazing Vision jet. You picked up a new subscriber and Oklahoma, where I taught a client once in Ada, which had the same name of the fiance I met the same year in '84, a Mexicana travel agent, so odd how my job as a hotel systems instructor during which I logged over 500K miles as a passenger got me hooked up with an airline travel agent, which my Mom joked was inevitable. She was so surprised when she found that to be true!
Loved the video and i was impressed by how calm and focused you are flying the plane, at your age you are giving an extraordinary example to all young men, especially the ambitious ones to do good things in life and the good things are the ones that we do with pride. god bless and your beautiful family . greetings from Morocco.
One pilot to another - great flying. It's none of my business, but I know how much that Cirrus jet costs to own and operate and perhaps even more impressive than his flying skills is his ability to own such a beautiful aircraft. Not jealous - just amazed.
Looks like the jet is owned by the holding company of Dutch Bros Coffee, a group of nearly 1,000 coffee stands primarily on the west coast. Always good being born into a right family!
Random video pops into my recommendations, I never watch flight videos, figured I'd see what it was about. Then noticed you flying over my childhood home at @18:36
It's hard to find any fault at all with this excellent young pilot. Maybe one thing I noticed since he's doing so well with all the self briefings would have been an engine out on takeoff briefing, what to do at each stage and when our whether to possibly return to the airport. And I only learned this from that bush pilot in PNG that is amazing also with his self briefings all throughout the process. I don't mean to be picky it's just a comment. Amazing young man I would like to be as good as him in my flying if I get back into it.

I am a 135 pilot slave and I love how he is on final, doing it all right and the passengers are all like, wow look at this look at that. He must know them all :)
I will ask the same question that I ask of all pilots who fly with friends or family. What would happen to your passengers if you were suddenly incapacitated after takeoff?
It’s a while since you asked this, but the Vision Jet has both an auto-land system and a whole craft parachute that will bring everyone back safely. He has very likely briefed his girlfriend on how to engage these systems. This is such a cool aircraft.

AS THEY SAY…., KEEP THE BLUE SIDE UP AND THE BROWN SIDE DOWN!
I'm really enjoying my Cirrus V. Very cool to see this young man enjoying one as well.
Lots of ski lakes in Oklahoma including Lake Texoma, Grand Lake, Tenkiller, Murray, Arbuckle, and many more. Landing strip at Texoma as well
Proud parents indeed. This young fella can fly.
Thank you!
The product of privilege to be sure.

Great job young man! Some of these commenters don't have a clue about what you have achieved at your age. Beautiful jet, wonderful family, and supportive girlfriend. God speed....
Thank you so much!
Great family, awesome girlfriend and great video. Thanks for sharing the Word.s
Hot mom too!
The startup sound was amazing, I hope one day i'd get a chance to ride in one of these
Flawless take off and landing, hit his coms schedule in his flight plan, and most of all, he’s enjoying it!
Don’t ever fly commercial if you don’t have to. Walking through airports everyday, and flying a crazy schedule will take the joy out of flying. If you don’t have to fly to make a living, live to fly!
Fly FedEx the only way to go ……..
Pilot did an amazing job. This has been one of the best flight videos on UA-cam.
Students can also use this to see how flights are supposed to go.
Yeah, but old guys have a wealth of knowledge and experience. That can't be bought.
@@dmack1827 but frequently don't realize when to stop being PIC as the reflexes and vision have deteriorated.
@@joelobryan1212 That has not been my experience as a check airman.
Awesome. Thank you for the ride-a-long!!
Loved the video and i was impressed by how calm and focused you are flying the plane, at your age you are giving an extraordinary example to all young men, especially the ambitious ones to do good things in life and the good things are the ones that we do with pride. god bless and your beautiful family . greetings from Morocco.
Love the Bible verse you put in this, awesome video please continue to post, i'm currently sitting on 130 hours 🙏
Luke 18:25
agreed!! when i saw the bible verse, i immediately followed his page. #morejesus
Nothing but awesomeness brother. Sweet new ride. Well done sir.
Thank you!
I live in Duluth, MN. About the. 10 mins from cirrus aircraft. Also I deliver to them three days out of the week for UPS. Awesome company and planes.
Ah man, couldn't be happier for you! That's amazing, hope it was good fun.
Random video pops into my recommendations, I never watch flight videos, figured I'd see what it was about. Then noticed you flying over my childhood home at @18:36
I live and fly in Oklahoma, loooots of flat land so always a good place for emergency landing lol. Great vlog as always!
Yes sir! I did but videos are edited.
Really enjoyed the video. You are a true professional aviator.
Lots of ski lakes in Oklahoma. Stop in McAlester MLC next time! Lake Eufaula nearby! Enjoyed the video!
Loved the Bible verse addition. Just earned a new subscriber
Gonna have to hit the subscribe button after hearing this!! I haven't finished the video yet.
Awesome! Thank you!
just came across your channel would watch 310 Pilot all the time they sold their plane and stopped filming, glad I found you guys, look forward to your adventures.
Great to see that God has blessed you Brother Blaze in a Cirrus JeT
Not so sure "God" has anything to do with this.
Thanks for the fly along and excellent landing ……I will fly with you anytime….nicely done mate!
I like the way you honor your parents.
Me, too...
How Kool ,so professional,Oklahoma is a great state been here 30 years ,grew up in Anaheim Hills , wouldn't change a thing ,keep up the great flying .
I’m quite impressed that you put Philippians 4:6 into this video. Well done. 😊
Just watched your vid of flying from Florida to Lawton. An Okie from Muskogee here and Yes we have numerous lakes to ski on. 3 within 30 minutes from me: Lake Ft Gibson, Eufaula and Tenkiller. Another close one is Grand Lake. Come and fly into Davis Field (large capable strip to handle your jet) Tuskegee Airmen filmed on location there. Used to be the site of the National skydiving comps. Load the slalom ski and I'll give you a tour of our lakes! CHEERS!
Awesome flight guys! Totally enjoyed
I am a 135 pilot slave and I love how he is on final, doing it all right and the passengers are all like, wow look at this look at that. He must know them all :)
Great work young man! Not required for your operation, but I strongly recommend “sterile” flight deck below 10,000’ AGL. 👨✈️
Thanks for the tip!
Amasing flight for this Age, looks you have years of flight and the landing was so smooth .
Thank you!
Good job Blaze. You have a nice family.
*rich family
Nice video my guy. Really cool footage of some some flight time. Love that you are doing this with the family. Keep up the good content!
Great Job !!! .. thanks for sharing. great flight very professional !!!! All The Best !!!
Airline pilot here….I live 10 miles north of Lawton in the Wichita Mountains. Nice video!
Fantastic pilot with own jet great flight brilliant videos you got new subscriber 👍🇬🇧😊
I’m impressed with your bird. It’s my second time watching one in action. I’m very particular impressed with your Bible verse!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thanks for watching!
I will ask the same question that I ask of all pilots who fly with friends or family. What would happen to your passengers if you were suddenly incapacitated after takeoff?
I second this question
It’s a while since you asked this, but the Vision Jet has both an auto-land system and a whole craft parachute that will bring everyone back safely. He has very likely briefed his girlfriend on how to engage these systems. This is such a cool aircraft.
I love how he stayed focused on the taxi and takeoff. You can tell he has briefed them before to let him focus during that time.
god dayum son, I'll bet you've never slept in the back of a car shivering cold at nights. You better tell those parents of yours you love em everyday. You've got no idea what you have
Most folks haven’t had to do that.
@@nclaw441that is a insanely false statement you’ve just made.

Very nice jet and I love the way it’s designed and the panoramic view is amazing along with all the screens on the dash. You handled it beautifully and with ease. Awesome pilot
Off your phone, enjoy what you are seeing!
Great job! I have not seen this jet before. I didn't know there was a single engine jet. Very quiet. I'm impressed! I have not flown since 2000, just before my husband died.
Wow, you have to be 16 to drive a car but only 12 to fly a jet. Prodigy showing how it's done.
Thx for sharing. Having a loose tablet laying in my lap on take off or landing would drive me nuts. I always secure everything to my leg.
Thanks for giving God the glory in everything you do. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
People who inject their religion into everything are such boors!
That Cirrus Vision Jet is amazing.
What do you guys do to be able to afford such a nice plane
Drugs lol
Definitely your an inspiration to you young people great job and the amazing focus to details with so much going on at same time, God bless and may you always have safe flights!
Thank you!
The reason they asked for a tight base was to keep you out of the Fort Sill airspace. Fort Sill is the home of Army Field Artillery. A bunch of high explosive artillery rounds and rockets shot daily. Not a place you want to fly over.
Great job young man! You make me wish I had stayed in the Civil Air Patrol class many years ago!
