Played V-Rising's last 3 closed betas and I couldn't play enough of it, it was amazing all the way through. Stunlock listened to every bit of the players feedback (within reason), and even my own as I asked for a couple very specific features, and they made changes to the game every week or so with each beta. They've been super receptive, and now with early access me and my friends have been playing it everyday non-stop after work, etc. This game is much more than a survival game, it's basically on the level of an MMO with hybrid mechanics/features. It's great in solo, duo, or with 4 player clans, and we are currently max level raiding other castles. Love it, thanks for covering it. Cheers

Did you know that V Rising and Valheim (Sunlock studios and Iron gate studios)are both located in a small Swedish town called Skövde (Population 50 000)
V Rising is the best survival game I've experienced, and the fact that there's only a 6 hour base raid window is absolutely genius.
they took that idea from albion online, a lot of the mechanics of the game are from albion
@@bookiraps Albion is not a survival game, so it's still a very unique concept for survival games.

still 6 hours your required to be on daily to prevent a base wipe from 1 golem is crazy.. got wiped on official once went to store for 30min gave them enough time to break 14 doors lol
When the game first came out I was absolutely IN LOVE!! Actually still am.
If you told me this game was in early access I wouldn't believe you. This game is so refined and tuned. Seen very few bugs in this game. As far as I'm concerned its a complete game as it stands right now.

@@RareCr0w Something most people don't know is that they made a game called Battlerite before this and took a lot of different things from it in regards to character abilities etc. So they probably worked more on the world than the actual characters due to it already being finished from the previous game.

Early access is new lingo for release. Every official release is filled with bugs, so if u label it “early access” then you don’t get any of the harsh criticism.

I wish they’d have a traditional 3rd person view, other than that it’s fun. A little boring solo, but it has its moments.

Still haven't touched the PvP in this game and I adore it. Even from what I've seen, I think this would be quite noob friendly in terms of base raiding because anything lower level people have isn't worth your time really as a mid/late gamer anyway. It's not until you cross the river into the upper parts of the map do you really have resources worth poaching. I'd say if you haven't gotten to the tailor, PvP would just be for fun

I'm not the biggest fan of the game but the BGM is so nostalgic, don't even know why. I just cannot stop listening.
Not only the game comes out good but it runs good too a d havent had any bugs/glitches yet and I'm 30 hours in. The game looks professionally made.Would love to know if there's any serious bugs tho.
They have been pretty quick with their hot fixes. They even apply patches on weekends, poor devs.
the only game breaking bug they had, was the sun being able to burn you in your castle.. it lasted for like 2 hours and was fixed.
Poor Shroud. It took him less than 10 minutes to realize he was soon to be addicted
The boys started this game a week ago and have been trying to convince me to play since then now I’m fully convinced . Valheim was a blast but was lacking consistent content after doing all the bosses so the skills and morphs are definitely a game changer . I’m coming boisss
the only thing i think the game struggles with is balance, but that will come in time! Things like Chaos volley are just sooooo much stronger than everything else. Frost leap is 10x stronger than virtually every other ult.

Seeing a lot of empty bases though. I wonder if players are cruising through the first few stages and building a base, but hitting a wall after the first 10 or 20 hours.

Games a ton of fun but after about 130 hours, it's out of juice for me. Progression is super linear, raiding needs quite a bit of balance, the typical 6 hour raid window isn't great because that's 6 hours you're basically required to be logged in unless you want to be offlined. Needs to be more defensive options and siege golems need some rebalancing.

and on some dckhead server, the dckhd game amster wiped my castle for blocking some area with my castle. the game allowed it ffs

itsa VERY easy to pick up and play for a LITTLE BIT. this is the nobbiest friendly game ever. its minecraft factions but youre a vampire. get this game.
this game has one major issue imo
your server will die out sooner or later and your character with it so u gotta start over every two weeks or quit the game entirely
and most people dont have the 20h to grind again

I don't play PvP in games like this. I do not want my time wasted being killed all the time by people that have better gear than I do which I could never kill. This is my assumption on how the game works, like I said, I do not PvP. Maybe it downgrades the gear to your level but I doubt that's what happens. So because I know people will be playing this game a lot more than I will (because of my job) I prefer to avoid it and save a huge amount of time. If I didn't have a job, I would try the game with PvP because I think this game would be a lot more fun with it.
You can just open a private game for PvE solo

lacks content? Where do you take that from? its an early access title for 20 bucks that has at least 50-60+ hours of pure content.
@@TheMrkalkbrenner maybe I'm wrong, but first 10 hours are EXTREMELY boring. Grinding, backtracking, repeat. Grinding, backtracking, repeat. I suppose the other 50 hours of content are the same with some little additions.

@@aureliusgg4471 dude. Where have I said it's "hard"? It's not hard or challenging. It's not a survival just because you have similarities between rust and a simplest hunger\thirst feature. It's boring. It takes too much time to do stuff. But it's easily adjustable - which is cool. Although then you just fly through content - where there is so little of it.
@@ZelArtemis Thats up to you whether you like the gameplay loop or not and that's fine but what I'm saying is that it's definatly not lacking content for 50-60hours. There's always new Bosses to fight, spells to unlock, new gear to craft and buildings to improve
