    porsche a40, mb229.5 specs are spot on..liqui moly still gets their base oils from major manufacturers..as long it meets manufacturer requirements be good enough.

    Good choice, Thomas! After having tried the others like Total, Mobil-1, Castrol, I've come to realize that LiquiMoly stuff is the best out there.
    Currently using it on all my cars. LM Toptec 4100 + Ceratec. Noticeably quieter engine and the effect stays all the way till 10,000kms unlike the other oils which u can feel it degrade through noisier engine and car feels 'heavier' right after 5000 kms.

    I use this exact oil in my Tuned mk6 gti. I change it every 5000km or 6 months whatever first and is always filled up with 100 octane fuel. The car puts out almost 320hp and oh my god its fast but fun for a daily. I cant recommend the liqui moly oils and additives more! ( every 3rd fill up it gets either a octane boost or it gets jectron )

    Shouldn't use ceratec with it as it already has additives in the oil ...

    What’s the problem if it’s locally produced?

    • @ThomasYap
      @ThomasYap  3 роки тому

      No problem at all. Just an interesting fact I found when I spoke to the workshop manager.

      Local produced is not like German or US production ... might as well pay extra for original product

    i believe the flush is unnecessary in the case if it is chemical based. Might eat your engine from the inside.

      Ah I didn’t know. Could do more research about it.
