I buy my shirts at Walmart. When I heard they were coming to Denver, only 650 miles away, I dropped $650 on a plane ticket. These guys on the top of my Bucket List. In concert, they just blew the room up in that Juke Joint, Globe Hall. Best one and a half hours I've had in a damn long time! The Rev is a maestro of the stringed instrument- those six guitars and the dobro sounded like they were living creations. Breezy played the washboard and the bass drum with one hand to each. She caught fire! Literally! The drummer's timing and rhythm was awe inspiring. I only drink diet Coke (this Daddy don't get drunk again), but I have rarely been so high.

I want these guys to be popular. I think it would be awesome to be able to turn on the radio and hear this kind of music.

A cohesive style with a signature dobro sound that continues to delight song after song. Where did these amazing people come from???

They need alot more recognition. Rev. Is a mindblowing musician, Breezy is killing it on washboard. And a drummer with amazing time. This is real music by real people.
These are my people. Maybe not the type you bring to FINE DINING, but these are the friends who would do anything for you, at any time. I love down home people. They may be from a little town, but they have the BIGGEST HEARTS. Long live Charlestown, West Virginia.

Green 17 Tour of 2008. I was there in Dallas. Never heard of them then and I'm pretty sure neither had anybody else there. Crowd went from apathetic from the first opening band to yellin', dancin', hootin' 'n hollerin' in just a song or 2 from Rev Peyton and his Big Damn Band. I was amazed, not even my usual music taste, but I can't remember a concert I had more fun (well maybe PUSA, but they're my favorite band...). The energy of their performance and the crowd...unforgettable.
The only thing that was more enjoyable than listening to these people was talking to them after the show. Great folks. The story he told about the 1930 National was priceless.

I saw this amazing band many years ago at Snowbird ski resort after a Little Feat concert. Hands down it was the best night of music, dancing, and partying I’ve ever experienced! You can’t sit still when this band is playing!

These guys tore up the Verizon stage in Downtown Indy! Fucking amazing set and a crowd big enough the cops had to up barricades. Great band and a great show even in the rain.

I only briefly heard these guys on Shameless (Something for Nothing plays for about 20 seconds in one scene), and I'm so glad I did. Been listening to all their stuff for days and days now. This is some dancin' music here!
This band makes me smile, makes me happy and can't hep but bopping...love these guys and their energy and their DOWN HOMENESS....just love them. So much yummy sound out of one steel guitar, drums and a washboard. Incredible.
Saw them for the first time in Saddleworth UK in May and can say that without doubt they are the best live band I have ever seen in my 52 concert year career - make sure you see them!

I saw these guys open up for Flogging Molly about 4 years ago. They blew me away. Funniest part was after Rev. Peyton was standing on top of his merch table with a megaphone giving stuff away.
