As someone who always loved aviation, but never pursued that passion, it's so nice to watch people who are making their passion into an enjoyable hobby. And finding a way to share it and also help pay for it. Please keep it up. Your enthusiasm is infectious.
Next step is FPV With Head-Tracking. HDZero has integrated head-tracking that allow you to add a pan and tilt servo on the camera so you turn your head and the camera moves in the cockpit.
The supports in the cockpit are at least twice as thick as they should be. It would be better to make them thinner even if you had to use a heavier filament. The control panel should also be more under the window. This would give you a lot more viewability. One thing I really want to see is a POV camera on a gimbal that is controlled by head tracking in the headset. This would increase your realism tremendously and likely make it easier to fly. Pilots do not angle the nose down to look at the ground typically as you would loose altitude, but instead they look out the side and roll to the side a bit. Also there is clear resin for resin printers. It prints a much slower do to the longer cure times, but you could do some really nice canopies and light covers. Also they do make dyes for resin printing too so you can make custom colors, including tinting the glass. I would have just printed the control panel in a regular inkjet printer and glued it on as there are VERY nice pictures of that cockpit and the control panel online. They even sell kits for the whole cockpit for modelers, but I am not sure the scale. The detail level is just crazy good. Now I know Zap was likely a sponsor, but I do not like their glue. Loctite makes better glue. Bob Smith Industries does too. I like BSI's accelerant. I just get a big 8oz bottle and us a small (non pointed) syringe to apply it exactly where I want it and not waste it, but you can also get small spray bottle for it too for larger areas. I paint miniatures for a living (mostly Warhammer, but also other tabletop games like D&D, board games, and historical stuff) so the syringe works the best for me. I just get the Loctite .35oz bottles. They only run about $3-4. Also if you ever need to unglue something you have used Super Glue on just put it in the freezer for a bit. This makes the Super Glue FAR more brittle and easy to break apart.
I got into head tracking a year ago, and it has REALLY revamped my interest in FPV, it just adds soo much immersion. This plane would be a perfect candidate for a pan tilt setup.
I got a story for you. So one time my dad was flying a SIG cougar we just fixed and he went to maiden it. He takes off and gets some altitude, then he goes to turn and it doesn't. He said "crap" Me; what him; I forgot the aileron servo screw. Keep in mind this is a race plane, small wing etc. He got it stable and he's about to land and we live on an airport and this 4-5ft weed grabs the wing slams the airplane and all it broke was the nylon engine mount. There's your story and I love your videos.
just find miniacRC fw 190. theres an article and plans, its mighty mini i just blew up the plans 140% to make it 1/12 scale. 200% would be 50 inch wingspan
This is just the video I needed right now, I was just looking at the i6x the other day, wondering why it was so much more affordable compared to other transmitters on the market. Now I don't need to worry about if I'm getting a good product as someone with little knowledge about transmitters. Also, did anyone else notice how similar this FPV angle is to the one from the very start of the intro?
A suggestion for a gen.2 of the FW-190 from Eclipson. Get rid of that knob for the front hatch and use one of the gun barrels to release the catch. Have a captive spring to slide it back to hold it in place. And a challenge for the FT crew, FPV dive bombing with JU-87's or SBD Dauntless'.
Cant wait to see more 3d printed aircraft on the channel, ive been flying 3d printed planes for over 4 years now and love them. Hope to see some planprint and 3dlabprint models !
Wow, I am so jealous. These Carbon X1's are literally my dream printer. I have a heavily modded Ender 3 V2 and an extremely modified Artist D Pro with dual printheads that I designed myself. But They don't even compare to how amazing the Carbon X1 is. Super cool!! Happy for you guys!
I've sold my Prusa printers and replaced with to X1C printers. So much better. And Creality's offering is another swing and a miss, but with a lower price point will still garner buyers that will have to live with the typical Creatily 'quailty'. lol
@@JimHarry They are amazing. The only creality prints I like are the ender 3 series printers. Because they are super upgradable. But Creality's K1 is a scam. Because from what I have seen it is not very good. And extremely hard to upgrade.
Please do the F-82 Twin Mustang! I don’t know if there are 3D printing files for it or if foam will work better. It’s an awesome extension of a great war bird! And, as always, God Bless!
This is my favorite German fighter plane, don't really know why but it looks cool and I once owned a model of one but it slowly got damaged and had to trash it.
Great plane, great flying. Suggestion on landing from cockpit view in FPV, need to use full flaps so you can lower the nose and still see the runway on final approach. Without flaps, the nose would block your view of the runway. Also I can hook you guys up with head-tracker and gimbals if you are interested😉
I think I would make the cockpit windscreen supports smaller. As it seems to be blocking too much of the view. If it's possible, move the camera so it's looking out the windscreen more and less cockpit view. If that's impossible then I would move the camera to the nose top/bottom; likely bottom for clear view for flying. Yes, it could detract from the model but flying fpv it will give you the best view. If out there I would fly this far more than thinking about a foamy. I really hate those.
I was just about to comment u to make that and I like to see who is the best turn fighter among u guys to do it make 2 German and American fighters with fpv and attach the air guns. it will be another reality if u used the rc cockpit I can feel how fun will it and good work today ජයවේවා 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I am curious what it would look like if the base coat of paint was a Shiney silver/chrome paint. That way when you do the OD and distress it, you can make it look like metal under the "scratches and chips" in the paint.
That looks so freaken smooth for being a 3d printed model. 3D printing tech really came a long way in a short time. Quick odd question is there a software that you can see if a model plane you designed actually flies I thought this channel covered it but can't remember
It looks like the only way I’m going to get a TBM Avenger torpedo Bomber. With droppable torpedo. 1700mm is scale to 1200mm warbirds. Folding wings is a starch but would be Awesome 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Hi. I love the video and I was wondering, if it would be possible for you to share the filament and print settings for bambulab printer (because I was having trouble with my prints for some reason).
Awesome video!!! How cool would a 360* cam for the FPV be? You may have thought of this by now, but dremmel down the windscreen frames for more visibility. Very cool experience to see that view. I was a student pilot many years ago and the horizon is just the same! So cool!!! Great video! Thanks FT 😊
Something about the canopy didn't look quite right. Maybe because the backrest of the seat kind of looks like a canopy rail in the real plane...... Anyway with a few tweeks it could be a really realistic scale model.
yes, also the FW-190 fuselage gets quite thinner (looking from the top) right after the radial engine, the sides are more straight instead of rounded, the frontal cockpit frames should be thinner too
since there was a full-size land speeder made, plus the Millenium falcon at some point, why not do something like the a wing tactical fighter and a y wing bomber. since there's more then one printer, they can build the things, part by part and eventually have a fleet of them.
As someone who always loved aviation, but never pursued that passion, it's so nice to watch people who are making their passion into an enjoyable hobby. And finding a way to share it and also help pay for it. Please keep it up. Your enthusiasm is infectious.
No way that plane looks so good thanks for doing warbirds again
They should try a bf109
Maybe they should build heinkel he 111 bomber
Thank you for not adding the fake beeps for once! The FPV part I was just immersed in the flight! I loved hearing the real trimming.
Ovi ljudi su legende, toliko inovacija, deja, truda, zalaganja za rc zajednicu je samo za sve pohvale.
First flitetest episode I’ve seen a plane with retracts
Headtracking it!!! Would love to see some fpv headtracking formation flying with two foamies.

So cool. I haven’t started my RC plane adventure yet but I’m looking forward to finally entering the hobby.

Doing touch-n-go's via FTP is one of my favorite things to do.
Can't believe how straight that tracks. Looks like its on rails!
0:32 congrats on your anniversary
I hope you to get many more beautiful years and memories together ❤

look up creality's new stuff
@@81olsen They just copied Bambulabs

I’m going to be a buyer for the 3-D printer coming soon. I love building RC airplanes and I can’t wait to get into the 3-D printer builds.
Absolutely fantastic!
The Brits captured one that landed at an airfield in Kent "by mistake " and back-engineered it to create the Hawker Typhoon and Tempest.
This is my favorite German fighter plane, don't really know why but it looks cool and I once owned a model of one but it slowly got damaged and had to trash it.
It would be so cool if you could put FPV camera on servo so you could looks left or right 😊
I like head tracking in such a cockpit👍
I enjoyed seeing my name on the Founder's board in the background.
When the content of the video is this good, I don't even care that it's an advertisement.
No, Jason did good he really kept up!
That looks incredible!

Yes! Head-trackers please.
I’d love to see Dave’s profile BambuSlicer for LW PLA!
My fav plane ever. Tied with the Messerschmidt.
You need to build a Fpv RC Plane with Headtracking. That could be Awesome.
Agreed
Would love to see a printed spitfire, maybe even a mini series of 3d printed warbirds (if it hasnt been done already)
A nose heavy plane flies poorly. A tail heavy plane flies once.
Great video and I think you guys should build the cf105 avro arrow this would be a real good video to watch
You should make it with the copic is able to jump out of the airplane (example if it's falling out of the sky.)😂
Can you make the Jedi interceptor?
To have this resource would be so awesome.. Great job!
Awesome! Well done!
do more fvp projects
Not sure if you have an exclusive contract with eclipson, but I would love to see you do a video on the free piper cub from 3D lab prints.
Thanks!
You really need to add head tracking to your setup. It takes it from "wow" to "holy poop!!"
Make the Hydra mod for the Bambu AMS unit one of the first things you do, will save you time in the long run.

@flitetest could you please make a spitfire mk 9 and a bf 109 f 4 with the paint jobs from War thunder then make them dogfight please
That would be a cool concept for a FliteTest video!
everyones wet dream right there :P
Warthunder sim battles, this would be such a cool video
Coo-oooool! I get to see my name on the wall.
Better than COOL! Great flying
Happy anniversary!!

What if you guys made a DO-335? It’s a plane that had a prop on both the front and the back.
I love yours guys videos can you make a video of a MQ-9 reaper vs pick-up😅
Check out control line flying, thats what got me building my spitfire in primary school.
You know you can likely make your old 3d printer go as fast as the new ones with software..
Love the Butcher Bird.
Next thing you should try is the ability to mix materials and use a skeleton of some tougher and just skin it in lightweight pla
You need to build a 30ft B-29 once you reach 3mil
That looks so freaken smooth for being a 3d printed model. 3D printing tech really came a long way in a short time. Quick odd question is there a software that you can see if a model plane you designed actually flies I thought this channel covered it but can't remember
We need to see dark wing duck fly again, as a VTOL!
who that was so cool.
Fantastic work, guys! 😃
Amazing airplane! And those printers are fantastic indeed!
Stay safe there with your families! 🖖😊
My only question is where is the head tracking and gimbal for the camera on the plane
Looking good
It looks like the only way I’m going to get a TBM Avenger torpedo Bomber. With droppable torpedo. 1700mm is scale to 1200mm warbirds. Folding wings is a starch but would be Awesome 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Amazing video
Hi. I love the video and I was wondering, if it would be possible for you to share the filament and print settings for bambulab printer (because I was having trouble with my prints for some reason).
You should put a small light on the dash for the landing gear
Chasin Jason the drone master👍
I approve of this message! 🤣🤣🤣
So jealous of the printers
Awesome video!!!
How cool would a 360* cam for the FPV be?
You may have thought of this by now, but dremmel down the windscreen frames for more visibility.
Very cool experience to see that view. I was a student pilot many years ago and the horizon is just the same! So cool!!! Great video! Thanks FT 😊
motionsick headtracker units already do the job they are so cool you gotta check them out
I loved it. Too engines , like the wort hoge jet.!! 👍❤️😎
Head tracking is a must
I love your videos
Nice video again!
Oh and Go Red Bull Racing! 😎
I was wondering why my Carbon order was delayed. Y’all took them all! 😂
man you should make Hartmann's BF 109
Should take out the cabin floor a bit, and install another servo that lets you pivet left right. Azimuth.
"In case anybody would like to see the inner workings..."
**proceeds to drop it out the window**
Impresionante, sois unos fenómenos.
Can you build a working Ejectionseat 😂
Cool Video 😊
I want to go to your work shop but I am in Thailand. I like your video .
Could you guys make a bf 109
The best from Thailand😂😂❤❤
early gang🔥❤️❤️
i love your content
I really like the looks of that "Butcher Bird" model. I think that it would look better with the 3-blade prop like the original.
I’m thinking of buying one of the planes to build from flute test but do the come with all the motors and servos or do you buy them separately
Something about the canopy didn't look quite right. Maybe because the backrest of the seat kind of looks like a canopy rail in the real plane...... Anyway with a few tweeks it could be a really realistic scale model.
yes, also the FW-190 fuselage gets quite thinner (looking from the top) right after the radial engine, the sides are more straight instead of rounded, the frontal cockpit frames should be thinner too
You need to put pan and tilt with head tracker on the FPV
You should put a wide angle lens on the camera
Way kool!
Do you have a video for balancing a prop?

Should have used a head motion tracking fpv setup
