My dad used to have the Come Clean CD and he would used to play Control, Blurry, Drift & Die, and She Hates Me when I was little and I fell in love with this record b/c this is my favorite alternative rock/grunge Album. I also heard songs like Out Of My Head & Nobody Told Me but me or my dad didn't know them until I listened to This record more. This record is my childhood memory.
My three fave songs also. I have listened to rap with my kids and they have grown up with my Rolling Stones, Motley Fucking Crue, Poison and Telsa. I commend your dad on his taste of music with this album, great mems with your dad is what matters. Awesome. Some of my stuff may be ancient but still rellevant too.

Saw these guys in Las Vegas a few months after 9/11/2001. It was great to travel for the first time after that dark day, and they put on an incredible show. Maybe I need to go see them again once this COVID is done.
I think this is POM's best song. I love it. I wish more of their songs were this reflective. It makes me teary eyed.

When you memorize the lyrics to the point of not thinking about it, and know the fretwork by complete muscle memory, you put the two together and it happens. Just have to repeat it every day.
These bittersweet but also uplifting vibes helped me so much to recover after all the trauma from late 2001.

This song came out in the Summer of 2002. I had just graduated high school and the whole world seemed wide open to me.

I forgot about Puddle of mudd and just so happened to see some of their songs in my iTunes library and came onto youtube to bring back some amazing memories from my teenage years. Those good days skateboarding jamming to these tunes, staying up late, house parties, being a naughty child. Oh I would love to go back to those days. The world was a better place. Now its just filled with messed up selfish people. Bring back the early 2000s !!
