I watched this whole process being done on my old pool. I did the waterline tile MYSELF and had a custom color (blue and black) for the pebble tec. I am almost ready to do this again in my current house and can't wait to see this done again. I was amazed.
I initially was wondering how that blue slate tile would work, but that blue in the pebble finish really pulls the blue out in the slate nicely. Cool time lapse, thanks.
We redid our 2nd pool with it and loved it. Only regret… it wasn’t dark enough. Folks if your wanting the lagoon/pond/lake look get on them because they always tell you oh “it will be dark enough” NO IT WON’T specially when it WILL hold heat which is what YOU WANT!!! Our first pool was painted and freshly when we owned that one! HORRIBLE!!!! Peeled within a YEAL and CUT/PEELED OUR FEET. Had the tile redone BTW with TEC and color changing with light effect (EPIC & WELL WORTH IT). PLUS change the pool to salt at this time… TOTALLY WORTH IT! And trust me NO big deal… SO MUCH EASIER TO DEAL WITH!!! And if your looking at solar covers not worth the money… when we had our first… we went through 6 before we stop buying them. If anything invest into an automated cover if you won’t want anything in pool, enclose it or cage it like a Floridian pool. but your always going to get something in it.
How interesting! Very labor-intensive. Great job/finish! I think if it was my pool, I would have wanted it blue-er. :) Like, tropical blue!!! But still, its lovely.
I miss doing marbelite and pebble tec/ river rock pools. Started as a mixer and ended as a sprayer and floor finisher. Fiberglass and vinyl just aren't the same. Beautiful referb boys.
Looks great, me personally since the tile had to be removed, I wouldn't have new tile installed. I would have had them Pebble Tec up to the coping. But that seemed to be the homeowners choice.
Heh boss.. a few questions. Can existing pebbletec be bonded with old pebbletec? Im repairing a small step where the concrete and pebble have basically desentigrated. Im thinking that once i do the concrete repair, if I do the bond coat and then put the pebble over it, it should stick. Looking for a little advice if you dont mind..
I wouldnt even think you can bring that pool back to life. How did they let it get like that when the pool takes up pretty much the entire backyard??? Great job. I thought it was going to stay that blue color.. That would have really made the water bright
Thanks. The Pebbletec application itself took one day for this pool, but the overall process including demolition, new tile, application of Pebbletec, and final cleaning took four days.
Yo creí que eran morenos de eeuu. Pensé mal, me remonté a la esclavitud. Haciendo trabajo para disfrute de los white. Creo que los latinos los están reemplazando.
We're also getting Blue Wave on our resurfacing. Your pool looks great! Awesome job by them. Questions: How much time passed between finish of "Pebble tec application" step and start of "acid wash and final cleaning"? ie how long did they let the plaster harden? After the last step, did they immediately fill the pool with water?
The acid and final cleaning took place the next day after the pebble tech application. And it was immediately filled with water after the acid wash and final cleaning, and then ready for use.
@@Number1Digital Cool deal, thanks for the info. It'll help me make sure the guys are following protocol. My pool builder has screwed up a couple of times on the tile/coping portion of the reno so my confidence in them is not high right now. I'm guessing you followed Pebble tech's startup guide for the first month. Gonna be "fun" brushing the pool twice a day...Hope your surface is holding up well!
my pool is a pebble tech pool. Only thing im noticing after operating it for 4 years is that when the pressure cleaner is running some of the grains of the coating is coming off. The bag to my cleaner has a spoonful of it over the course of a month or so between me cleaning it.
I’m recently dug up our pool that was filled in years ago. I have removed the tiles and trying to sandblast the old pool paint which I think is epoxy. Thinking about removing the plaster/ Gunnite? How long did that step take? In your video it looked like just some bad spots were removed?? Can you spray gunnite on top of old pool paint?
Would like to see video or pictures of that process. Usually when they fill in a pool don't they bust out the bottom of it to allow drainage? Must be a huge project.
Nice video, thank you! - question, for pools with in-floor pop-up heads, what is your process on that? Do you vacuum clean them in the end to get all the debris and cement out of them in case they are clogged?
Your boy on the mixing truck doesn't need a gym membership does he , lifting and opening them bags is hard work.
No joke! He was a really hard worker.

Very talented workers, all of them. They work seamlessly to produce a renewed life to an old pool. Gotta love it..

average price on a job like that
what did it cost you? how big is your pool?
With how hard these guys worked, I figure I would owe them a swim pass at my house for life for building it!
Hard workers and also skilled craftsmen!
I just had this done to my pool by a company out of New Hampshire. It came out awesome! It was as if they watched this video before they started.
Curious to know what it cost you
I may Need the same job name of Company who did yours thanks
These guys are artists--- Must take a long time to learn and perfect these skills

😊😊Seemed like they were working from edge to center and I wondered how they would get out until I saw their shoe lifts. Lol😅 really cool renovation.
What a well-oiled machine. This was an extremely satisfying video to watch lol
Amazing transformation from the original pool, so much hard work and labour intensity.
Nice job. And terrific to see someone actually excited to be jumping in. Thank you for that.

Very hard working team - great job!
Yes they were! It was amazing to watch.

But still, its lovely.
I can I understand why you’d say that! Tropical blue is a great pool color.
Amazing, brilliant to see builders who actually care, come to the UK!!
Seriously your not suggesting UK builders don't care? And these people aren't builders anyway, they renovate swimming pools.
Massive pool. Massive job. The blue was so pretty. Great job 👏🏻
this is exactly what I need done to my pool.wish I could afford it
I admire the craftsmanship! Beautiful job! Labor intensive❤
Fail to prepare be prepared to fail, top work lads🥊
Looks insane Guys, Great job and very hard working team.
I like the idea of mixing blue into the gunnite so it doesn't need a separate paint over the base.

Outstanding job…looks like a great crew.
I was very impressed with their workmanship.
That pool is beautiful....hard work but worth it.
Looks great, me personally since the tile had to be removed, I wouldn't have new tile installed. I would have had them Pebble Tec up to the coping. But that seemed to be the homeowners choice.
I do this work for a living and it’s very cool to see how differently another crew does it. Looks great tho boys
Same. You guys use a pumper or do it old school?
Heh boss.. a few questions. Can existing pebbletec be bonded with old pebbletec? Im repairing a small step where the concrete and pebble have basically desentigrated. Unfortunately we just documented the project.
Great people 🇲🇽 power thanks for your job.
Yes, they were all hard working!
Very cool video! I’m installing a new pool with pebble tech PebblesSheen blue surf.

@@Number1Digital Thanks for info, u guys doing great job !
Chingon jale primo saludos desde Memphis tn trabajo yo también en los emplaste Pool
I need that here in Daytona.
Great job
Thank you
am i right in saying now pools should have a far better life expectancy with all these new bonding agents and top coats?
Interesting how the pool base is still discolored.
Nice job done! What do you recommend for sealing a gap between the tile and coping. Thank you!
Beautiful pool! Very labor intensive. But can we talk about the music? I need to know the artist!
Excellent

such hard work
I love it....
Are there any videos on doing oebbletec repairs?
May I ask how much it cost to renovate the pool? Thanks!
I believe the reno cost for that pool would be at least $25,000.
Love the color! Do you know the name
Did you guys water proof the tile substrate
it's looks beautiful. but maintain going very hard...
Quite true, it’s a big pool and lots of regular maintenance will likely be needed.
O sea que tipo de revoco es? Que es lo que lleva exactamente? Porfa me gustaría saberlo, un saludo desde Cádiz (Andalucía)
Awesome
Around how much was this job start to finish?
20 to 25 thousand dollars
how they will clean the pool after this job?

It's plaster and no you cannot. Have to grind it off or sand blast it.

Sorry, we're just handled the media production.
Amazing! Will you do my pool?
Que tipo de mateial es ese?
Una belleza impresionante
Where do you get the water sprayers? What are they called?
Did the gap between the new tiles and the top of the pool get sealed with silicon or a similar material? Great job btw
Amazing work! Can you please tell me what the name of this pool color is? I would love to choose this color for my pool !
Thanks. Check the pool specs in the description.
How long did process take
How much did you make on a job like this if you dont mind me asking
In what area as well?
Apologies, but we only performed the video production for this project.
Why wasn’t the old plaster chipped away?
🙌
Why didnt u guys chip /demo the whole pool ?
How much cost to do this in same size pool
Que es exactamente esa mezcla azul que le echáis? Soy de España. Gracias
El video dice pebbletec o algo asi
Anyone know how much it would cost to convert plaster pool to pebble tec pool?
I read in the comments this specific pool was around. 20 thousand to 25 thousand dollars
Baita investimento !!
What was the cost of this job?
What is the mix dosificaction?
I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question.
Looks like upgrading from unused to used.
What was the cost for this?
I got a quote for 20k for a similar size pool, What's a fair price for re-plastering it?
That seems to be in the range for this type of work.
Do you guys work in ROCKLAND NEW YORK
I plastererd the Rockland state Park pool. The huge 28k square foot one.
why not just use a Inground Pool Liner?
Bc it's already a gunite shell.
What does this cost??
How to get in touch with you about redoing my pool?
Just to clarify, we only produced the video for this renovation.
What a dingey looking tile. The old dated one looked better. LOL
