Examples, quotes. Then use multiple unnecessarily placed sentences concerning said examples and quotes building on them to make clearer to a reader what you meant in those examples and quotes. Its great filler for long essays and teachers enjoy seeing a student make a effort to make a novice reader understand what it is that they are writing about.

I love how teachers say things like “you can’t write a paper without reading the book” yet I’m out here get a 96 on 10 page papers of books I’ve never even picked up.

I’m a good writer and I love to read but if I don’t enjoy the book whatsoever I’m not reading it. Sorry that I broke the system and know how to please teachers

Is it me or does her Thesis Statement seem like a long run on sentence?
Bri Zm It's not. Because she wrote a list with the right punctuation. Like semi-colon,( ; ), and as well as commas.( , )
Yea it is too long. And has too much info about the book. But not enough.. it Should be more simple and less wordy. Semicolons are looked down on by the teachers at my school. This thesis makes me think too much. When i read something. I like it to flow.
Bri Zm, there needs to be a period or semicolon after the word angel. I still think the video is an excellent learning tool, and she gave great examples.
no there doesn't because "as Hester moves... 'angel'" is actually a clause and without what comes after it it wouldn't be a sentece.

My thesis of the video: I started to learn about thesis statements but was distracted when I saw how cute the speaker is, the large number of hand movements, and the book holders in the background. After learning very little, I concluded that she has a ring on the right hand and is not yet married, thus leaving an opportunity. Grade me.

I checked out the video for body paragraphs but I needed more.
