Paraphrasing is so much handy when writing an essay, but it takes words, which takes improving vocabulary, which takes researching, which takes reading. For those who like to read, dictionaries can be pretty handy with their definitions in order to put these synonyms into practise, too. By the way, thanks teacher Emma. This lesson is very important.

Do you know a student who doesn't lack sleep? It's amazing how exhaustion is perceived as something normal when you're a student. You don't sleep for days because the exams are approaching and you have a huge essay marked with red on your schedule. That's normal; you're a student after all. Wait! No; it's not normal! If you're a student, that doesn't mean you shouldn't have a life, does it?
      I have a way out for those who are fed up with exhaustion - contact Sarah Lorde’s H/W Help (s a r a h l o r d e m e @ g m a i l . c o m) - without the spaces, of course. Sarah is very kind, and she is extremely talented in writing academic papers.

Hasan AL-Qadi ... All the very best to you
      1. For the speaking test, I would suggest practicing with a friend. Ask your friend to act as an evaluator and time you. Try this atleast 5-6 times before your IELTS
      2. Reading / Writing : there are plenty of tests available on the internet. While the reading section is pretty easy to grade yourself, get someone to grade the writing section for you.
      3. Listening - Since I took the IELTS offered by BC, it was more of a British accent. So make sure you are acquainted with the same. Try watching BBC. and Practice. practice is the key

Emma has explained the parapharsing very simply.
Emma has described the changing of words of a sentence without changing its sense very politely.
A very simply way is used by emma to teach parapharsing.
Although many people thinks that parapharsing can not explained easily, I think emma is done this task.
Please check and give the corrections in feedback 👍

I think that schooling is somehow different from education. For instance, schooling forces students what they HAVE TO learn like Math, science, etc, but education is what students really want to learn.

    Good essay structure:
    1. Introduction:
    •Hook
•Text information (title, author, poet, director, main character's, name, short summary)
    •Link to arguments
    •Thesis statement
    2. Body paragraph: ( two or three of the following)
    •S= Topic Sentence
    •E= Evidence
•X= explanation/ Proof (make sure this relates to your thesis, don't get off topic)
•C= Concluding sentence or sentence relating your argument back to thesis statement
    3. Conclusion:
    • Restate position/ thesis
    • Sum- up arguments
    • Concluding sentence (relate back to hook)
Hope this helps some of you:)

Oh man, writing is a very critical skill. All of you high school students listen up: you won't ever need to calculate the 3-dimensional area of a line on a chart, but you will need to know how to properly convey your thoughts through writing. Do not skimp on this, I finished University with a Sociology major (deviant/counter-culture societies) and a business minor (marketing). In my fourth year, I wrote something ridiculous like 320 pages total for all of my Sociology courses, and it's been the most beneficial thing I've learned in school.
