    Thank you for this video...your smile lit up the room as always...I am so proud of you. Actually I am very proud of our generation Z...We are way less homophobic and less racist than older generations...that's really promising ! Stay safe NATE. We love you man !!!

      Yes! Thank you! I believe it’s my responsibility to use this platform to help create positive change. It’s much easier to be nice and kind, than it is to be rude and unaccepting. People just need to smell the roses more often. Than you for watching!! ❤️

    Hi Nate! New subscriber here! Great video ! You've got a great smile, personality, and great opinions, don't ever change or lose that combination. A great pick me up is watching Queer Eye episodes. Going to watch S8 episode 4 a little later. Love the new cast. But sad that Bobby won't be returning next season. Stay well and keep being you!!

      Aw thank you! Yes, I heard Bobby isn’t returning. It’s sad to say, but it might be time for the show to make its final run. :( I’d love to see the cast explore other independent shows. I guess we’ll see what happens! lol

    I'm a millenial lesbian, I would recommend you check out some of the media we grew up with, you may find it pretty interesting: nineties The Real World (San Francisco, Boston) and Queer as Folk (U.S.) especially made a big impact for my generation. Also the podcast "Making Gay History" has hundreds of hours of archived interviews with activists, most of which have passed away. It's really important to learn about these folks and everything they did for us. Things change so much from one microgeneration to another, we need to understand and appreciate each other as a community. Keep doing your thing!

      Aww thank you so much! I’ll check that out! I do believe it’s very important to understand the history of the community you’re in. Especially in our case; there is so much negative LGBTQ+ history. It’s so sad. :( I appreciate you taking the time to comment as well! ❤️

    My Dude I couldn't agree with you more. We gotta be patient, be positive and spread the good vibes everyday. 1 x 1 we can all make a difference. Have a Great Weekend Bro.

    Is being Gay fun? I can't say it's FUN... it's just a small part of who I am as a man.

    No being gay is not fun! I grew up in a small town long ago when the aids epidemic started under the Reagan administration in the early eighties and was threatened by the hatred and misunderstanding from the public and from the our government at that time. At 28 I moved to Chicago with $6,000 in the bank with no job just to find a community where I could be myself. I ended up being hired as the accompanist for the Chicago gay men’s chorus as one of my several jobs and immediately had a hundred friends that were wonderful, successful, kind and of various age groups. Gay or straight I just avoid toxic people who are judgmental and surround myself with kind and loving folks….good luck to you

      I appreciate your comment, and you sharing your experience. I think about the aids pandemic kind of often, and it’s absolutely something that’s on my mind. It’s so horribly sad. Being gay is incredibly difficult, but it’s so important for us to find a safe community/group of people. I hope you are doing ok, and I’m proud of your achievements! Thanks again ❤️

    In an earlier video I thought you said you had a brother who was gay, is that correct? Does he live near you for support?

    • @NateLawlor
      @NateLawlor  8 місяців тому +2

      Yes, he’s bisexual! He lives in Orlando and I always go down to see him when I’m thinking too much. He and his partner are amazing support. I’m lucky to have them so close :)

    Great spur of the moment video. Make friends with those lesbians! Hopefully they will be welcoming who knows where that could lead. You remind me of my younger self. But you seem even more confident in who you are than I was...stay strong and hope good things come your way.😮😅😊
