That PVC system wasn't plumbed right for one..block will build up pressure the way they had it setup to the can..maybe they caught it, but definitely not right from prev episode..

He might not have been using the red key. If I’m not mistaken there’s a valet key, which is black, and then there’s a red key which unlocks the full 707hp.

I actually won the car an it was a absolute monster 142 mph down the interstate and the car wasn’t even working hard!!! I was told it had the capability to put down 1300 with a tweak of the tune, boost pressure, an race fuel.
I actually ran it at NCM as well it was fast on the straights but not so good through the corners.

Crank hp vs wheel hp
Parasitc power loss which is common to all cars. RT8 was likely pushing 900 crank hp with those turbo's in contrast too the Hellcats 707 crank hp.
I have an 06 pristine Dodge Magnum SRT8 that I could let you have to upgrade if you’d like, and yes, I will want it back when done lol. If I ever hit the lottery, this is the build I’d choose, but would want a supercharger instead of turbos, beautiful upgrades, I’m jealous
Go with a procharger my friend! Superchargers get heat soaked on our cast iron V8s very quick, turbos require a lot of work. A centrifugal supercharger is best for these cars. Self contained oiling, intercooler, and sits away from the block to not get super hot.
All that work and parts might as well buy the damn hell cat and save some $ LoL 😂

Powder coat over surface rust?!? Is that OK, or am I tripping?
Should have used a Epoxy Primer to seal the chassis after media blasting, that way it would never rust again powder coat is tough but not air tight.
@@dermharse9614 you sir are absolutely correct being in the lawn care business for 18 years I've seen powder coat become compromised and flake off and once it starts there is no good fix you just have to keep applying paint when more flakes off if one doesn't then the rust is inevitable I've got a 97 Murray that has paint from the factory and I only have rust on the unpainted and poorly painted parts ... The awful truth is powder coat isn't as durable as paint it's only a thing because after it's heated and baked on the cool down time is faster than paints drying to the touch time and there's no cure time with powder coat

Now I’m not an expert on cars or anything like that but is it alright to have turbos underneath the car and exposed like that. Give me some knowledge please
With filters on them, yes. That's not the preferred place for them though
As far as I know, having them under the car isn’t an issue with filters. In fact it’s usually a good call because cold air flowing below the car can cool off the turbos and air being shoved into the engine. The problem with lower or rear mount turbos is usually just boost lag but seeing how much torque it makes on the graph, it doesn’t look like it’s not a significant factor.

As long as they use the SAME Dyno for the Test, they will show a correct correlation of power. Remember Dynos are tools to give you an estimation of the gains. But they are like the tires treadwear, every dyno is going to give a different estimate of the power depending on the brand, age and wear of the dyno.

@@bigboreracing356 that's what I was meaning. production street legal. but I did hear a rumor that the demon stock without mods. isnt allowed on the drag strip in most places. due to lack of safety features required by the strips for the amount of power and speed it throws down.

i was so excited for this but when they came out with only 727 for a TWIN turbo on a 6.1 is absurd. Who ever wins this thing needs to take those turbos off and sell that $10,000 turbo kit and just get themselves a used hellcat supercharger for $1800...

Only 13lbs on a built motor. Should easily take 15-17lbs on pump gas unless they have compression jacked up which would be stupid on a turbo car.
