A great video, I'm in the middle of replacing the front struts, I wish mine was that easy, everything is sized up, I've had to cut the drop link off, and the bolts going through the suspension leg were sized, I've just managed to remove the first one. I was wondering what the torque settings were for replacement, watching your video has given me all the information, your a god send, thanks for a very informative tutorial.

Just done the wife’s abarth strut top mounts 🤔ended up damaging the drivers OSF strut mount threads so changed the struts for a better quality one, both sides, without the H7 hex bit which on my original where H6(H7 would go no where near)and all rusted to kingdom come (previous owner didn’t fit the water cap option) and looks like had tried to fix the slight knock I got whilst parking, removed the OSF couldn’t get the mount nut off so didn’t bother and refitted it back to front

Great video!, I own one of these so this will help me loads 😄 Hmmm, not sure about the styling on those set of wheels for the Abarth 😅 but good install regardless 👍🏾 thanks for sharing!❤
The idiot sprayed copper grease all over the friction surface of the disc. Next time hire someone that really knows what he s doing, this is a disaster. If I owned this shop he would have been fired in the next 2 seconds. Imagine doing this on both sides of your daughter's car....
He sprayed it on the hub mounting surface so the rims don’t get stuck to the hub since they are hub centric. He didn’t spray the friction surfaces and he certainly didn’t spray it “all over”. If you owned that shop, it would close in 5 days since you have no clue what you are talking about. Open your eyes next time before you open your mouth.

Please make sure you put the top mount bolt on the right way around. The chamfer faces down into the mount.
Thank you for your comment! These details will come in handy for a lot of people who do the job on their own. Best regard, Autodoc!

@@keithschron9777 ha ha, you tell him. I did think he used a bit too much grease but certainly wasn’t anywhere near the disc surface.
