    This is nice, that lambda sensor trick on the downpipe is brilliant.

    Can't wait for more vids. Been wanting to follow an is200 turbo build channel for a long time and this is perfect.
    Have you used the oil level sensor location for the oil return also do you know how safe the AFRs are at this point. I hope you will be uploading lots of content on this and nice to see another is200 geek lol 👍

      Hi there and thanks , No my oil return is from the turbo to my oil sump pan ,my inlet feed is from the sensor to the turbo ,AFR is perfect it passed emissions so it tells me it’s all running as it should be ,the only problems I did have are the two bank 1 02 sensors were not sending the signals to the ecu which was causing random multiple misfires to cylinders 1-6 which is the engine management light flashing on the dash so I unplugged all the sensors to the exhaust then it ran sweet as a nut then I said to myself il join the 2 02 sensors as one then I plugged the lamda sensor with a p420 code extension lamda bracket on it back in on the exhaust that stopped my engine management light flashing and went off

    Turbo spec is a GT2871 (Chinese) turbo that’s capable of doing upto 400 bhp, standard flywheel wasn’t laying the power down it was just slipping so upgraded it to a solid flywheel with out the mass clutch is just standard, powers now as it should be pushing out about 7 psi 0.5 bar atm it does have a bmw uprated fuel pump 450l ph with modified fuel line return

      That's good then, that's literally the turbo I have been looking at. So how does it stack up over the standard power with that turbo with any lag etc

    • @nomoremrnoneturbo2106
      @nomoremrnoneturbo2106  5 років тому +1

      With it being a large turbo it takes longer to spool up so i tightened the turbo actuator up so the waste gate only opens up about 5ml not fully so it spools up quicker then after about 3-4000 revs it wants to move so with tightening the actuator waste gate up it kind of helps to prevent the turbo lag tbh with you it sounds like Toyota supra when she wants to move and it gives me smiles it put up a nice little fight against a Volvo T5

    Yes definetely want more videos, great build! So these are stock internals right?

    • @nomoremrnoneturbo2106
      @nomoremrnoneturbo2106  5 років тому

      Thank you and yes they are stock internal that can handle upto 300bhp 10psi + with safe boosting you can either use a piggy back ecu which I personally wouldn’t because the link altezza G4+ stand alone ecu is much better and with it being a 1gfe beams engines originally the 2.5 l beams engine has the same timings as the 1gfe engine and the engine wiring loom plugs fit the stand alone ecu with only 2 wires swapped over which I don’t know only branshatch performance know this procedure hope this makes sense

    • @mightyturbo8499
      @mightyturbo8499 5 років тому

      Oh right, so it's better taking it to a shop to remap the ECU itself.

    • @nomoremrnoneturbo2106
      @nomoremrnoneturbo2106  5 років тому

      The Altezza Link G4+ is a stand-alone ecu a shop would be able to remap it only if they have the software for that ecu hence why I have to go to branshatch performance in the uk in the south of England because they have done a couple of these engines with there ecu

  • @WPTUNED
    @WPTUNED 5 років тому +1

    Hey the bay setup looks great! I have a couple of questions for you. What is the spec of the turbo? How is the flywheel and clutch setup with engine 'bounce' now the dual mass isn't fitted? Thanks!

    • @lexusturbo5761
      @lexusturbo5761 5 років тому

      I have the light weight flywheel on my turbo is200, it can be abit bouncy and hard to get used to in slow moving traffic but you can get used to it. Mine seems to clatter abit if i put unnecessary load on it from slow speed or slow revs, like if im in 3rd gear at say 15-20mph an put my foot down it will clatter but if i drop to second it wont.

    • @WPTUNED
      @WPTUNED 5 років тому

      @@lexusturbo5761 ok well mine is doing all of this but also vibrates at 3k RPM I think due to the dual mass has failed and locked into an out of balance position so I need to make the change lol

    Hi mate, good work, really like what youve done, ive just finished my stage 2 conversion using the same said kit, lol. can i ask, what fuel pressure you are running? Im havin abit of trouble with a jump/lurch/sputter as its building boost. Thanks

    • @nomoremrnoneturbo2106
      @nomoremrnoneturbo2106  5 років тому

      Lexus Turbo are you still on a Patrick’s black box or a piggy back ecu ? Something like ecu master ? Because to tell you the truth I get the sputter when building boost that’s because the ecu can not handle it also
      Do you have the standard injectors in it? That’s why I have bought higher cc injectors and now I need to go in for a stand alone ecu seems to be a problem you get with piggy backs and Iv uprated my fuel pump to 440lph and I have set my fuel pressure at 48psi because standard was only 46psi and the fuel pump burnt out so I uprated the pressure by 2 psi at 13.5v and it seems to be fine now

    • @lexusturbo5761
      @lexusturbo5761 5 років тому

      Its on an ecu master det 3 piggy back yes, with and uprated pump and 1zz injectors, not sure which pump as i bought the kit second hand. Its remapped by jamsport the seller told me. Did you set the fuel pressure with the vaccum disconnected, and then reconnect after adjustment? Or just set to 48 psi with vaccum connected as normal? I seem to get abit of an eratic idle if put my fuel pressure above 30psi. Thanks 👍

    • @nomoremrnoneturbo2106
      @nomoremrnoneturbo2106  5 років тому

      Lexus Turbo you are not suppose to get a erratic idol when you put your fuel pressure up, usually it’s the other way round getting a erratic idol when you drop the fuel pressure , and when you get that erratic idol you need to adjust it until it stops hope this is of some help to you

    • @lexusturbo5761
      @lexusturbo5761 5 років тому

      @no more mr none turbo
      It is helpfull, thanks. Its not so much erratic but every now and again will jump on idle and steady out again. I will adjust to 48 psi with the vacuum line connected to it and see how that goes. Also you know the small valve/regulator that is at the start of the fuel rail where fuel enters the rail (it has a plastic cap and a gold screw under the cap). Did you remove this screw or is it still installed? Thanks again for your help 👊🏻

      @@swiftym8y greetings my upside down brother 😂 yeah I get that. Custom would be probably be the cheaper option for you so long you don't go overboard and end up blowing the motor haha. The kits say you'll get around 220 to 250bhp but people in the groups say 300 is easily achievable with stock internals. It's probably worth asking about and getting a good game plan in order. Talking and working with your mechanic through the process would be good too. You could end up sharing a good guide on how to do it :)
