@@swiftym8y nope not particularly. I'm in all the groups as it's something I want to do to my IS later down the road. A lot of people swear by maintenance and the engine though. People running turbos and superchargers over 200k miles etc. They're probably fineee it's more of a question of "are you really getting enough bang for your buck"

@@Revobushwoky yeah i’m from aus and getting a is200 soon just looking at options for turbos, the kit is from uk though so i’m thinking of just going to a mechanic over here and asking them to do it cause by the time i buy the kit get it shipped over here and do it all myself it’ll probably be cheaper and easier for a mechanic to do it

@@swiftym8y greetings my upside down brother 😂 yeah I get that. Custom would be probably be the cheaper option for you so long you don't go overboard and end up blowing the motor haha. The kits say you'll get around 220 to 250bhp but people in the groups say 300 is easily achievable with stock internals. It's probably worth asking about and getting a good game plan in order. Talking and working with your mechanic through the process would be good too. You could end up sharing a good guide on how to do it :)

@@Revobushwoky haha greetings , will do mate i’m looking at buying the is in a few months, i won’t go to overboard in the future would also look at doing the internals up a bit, my stepdads got a is300 and he’s looking at supercharging it and doing up all the internals soon, will definitely do a guide if i end up going through with it

350 will just do if drive normaly.

What’s the holset turbo pushing out ? what psi do you ? Because with the holset some of the turbo actuators are non adjustable and you would have to use a boost controller usually the holset are better than the Chinese version they spool up a bit quicker ?

@@nomoremrnoneturbo2106 Hi mate I want it to run 7 psi but i have a turbo smart actuator on it but it's got bad boost creep and it's one made in america I known it real as I work for them lol but it spool top side of first and 3000 in all the rest sonits pretty good. Probs makes around 260 270 wheel but can not dyno it yet as the boost creep issue and stem seals

Not with the stock connecting rods mate. they are thin as only take about 10psi max but then you are asking for bent rods :) 7psi is max which is about 260 to 270 if your lucky

@@kylebruniges1600 i had no idea pal thanks every car has its weakpoints i had a pulsar gtir that kept blowing gearboxs at 370bhp :( currently looking at a is200 to drift in and a turbo would come in very useful 😂

Kyle Bruniges i was pushing 10psi out on the Patrick’s black box , hopefully getting mapped tomorrow should be pushing out about 400bhp but will be getting it reduced to safer psi had to have a map specially made for the Lexus is200 off branshatch performance known as BHP in Kent who have been in constant contact over the past few weeks with RRR ecu Remaps and performance getting data logs this that and the other off them they have sold me the 3GSE link altezza talt ecu it has the capabilities to look after your engine with out it exploding the bottom end that’s where you have a little feature to the stand alone ecu called captalk and that stops your bottom end from exploding basically !

Yes I would build another turbo on a Lexus is200 and I would video it step by step but only if I had the sponcers to do it ! Then I would sell the car for charity for kids who have autism as my self and children have it.

I understand..but I was looking for a detailed video as to the process because I live in the Caribbean an we dont have that exposure to a turbo is200

David Davies well hello speedy Sid lol , I do suggest you upgrade your 12 volt motor to 24 volt with uprated battery pack not saying you will get up hill quicker with your spaz chariot (AKA MOBILITY SCOOTER) but you may get to the post office a bit quicker lol 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻☺️

Lukasz Krawczyk my inlet water feed is from the water pipe coming along under the exhaust manifold my return is to the water return on the throttle body outlet👍🏻

x clash long story short (hp standard pistons 210 tops with black box) with stand alone ecu 300 hp. Build cost roughly £5.000 (with parts rebuild) 👍🏻

Mod's 'N' Sod's 208.1 bhp but getting a link ecu today in the post and it’s getting remapped to 300 bhp then next year am rebuilding another engine with uprated pistons
