This is QUEEN and David Bowie, what an amazing collaboration. John Deacon came up with that base line while just playing around in the studio. David Bowie stopped by and they were jamming some QUEEN songs then just decided to build on the base line and they came up with this song.
Queen and Bowie collaborated on this song in the recording studio but sadly never performed it together. Check out the lyrics because it’s still relevant now. Great song! Check our What you won’t do by Bobby Caldwell. You won’t be disappointed!
I didn’t know that they never performed it together. I saw Bowie in ‘02 or ‘03 and he performed under pressure with a woman singing freddie’s part. It was amazing, but not the same of course
Esther Kalkbrenner yes. The same show and stage just not at the same time. They never performed this song together and I would have been incredible if they had.
Jude Gray since they’ve reacted to most of queen’s hit songs, 3 tenors have a cover that does “who wants to live forever” justice. You should check it out 😁

@Rob Y. Oh yeah...excellent point lol
@Rob Y. I am aware of Scatman Cothers as well as Scatman John. I did not however get the joke myself, though it looks like others have.
This is QUEEN and David Bowie, what an amazing collaboration. John Deacon came up with that base line while just playing around in the studio. David Bowie stopped by and they were jamming some QUEEN songs then just decided to build on the base line and they came up with this song.
Goosebumps every time. David Bowie, Freddie Mercury WOW.
It was amazing, but not the same of course
mamak2002 they performed during live aid, not on the same stage, but together
Lindsey Stein yeah Bowie and Annie Lennox sang this at Freddie’s tribute concert and someone spliced the videos together.
Esther Kalkbrenner yes. The same show and stage just not at the same time. They never performed this song together and I would have been incredible if they had.
Suggestion: Marvin Gay, Mercy Mercy Me
Queen - who wants to live forever or these are the days - they'll break your heart ♥️♥️♥️
Jude Gray since they’ve reacted to most of queen’s hit songs, 3 tenors have a cover that does “who wants to live forever” justice. You should check it out 😁
PS Under Pressure is just the best and you should check out their isolated vocal track recording this....Bowie and Freddie. It’s unbelievable!
Agreed. You should listen to their isolated voice track not necessarily for the channel, but just for your own pleasure. It’s amazing.
I agree

Yes. Chills!
@@triciaroy, I was just about to go dig up that link and post it.
Queen is the GOAT. You guys should do “Don’t Stop Me Now”.
They already have a video on that one.
@@PCMRvsconsole and it's a good one!
He did that reaction already. Check it out on their website.
Freddie is the GOAT.
I'll take him over any male vocalist.
Radio Ga ga by Queen. At Wembley arena.... Live Aid concert.
The crowd and crowd participation is awesome.
Guys, this version has David Bowie singing too.
Elton John "Benny and the Jets"
David Bowie "Fame"
Tim Traylor yasssssss to Benny and the Jets!!
Two MUSTS!!!
David Bowie.... Heroes too
Bowies - "Heroes" and "Life on Mars"
ALSO: from the early days of MTV: Dire Straits doing “Money For Nothing”. The song writer was in an appliance store, hearing to the store owner react to the musicians he was seeing on MTV on the store TV displays. TURN UP THE VOLUME and leave it there. Buckle up.
I didn't fully appreciate Bowie while he was doing his legendary, chameleon-like, walk-thru amongst the others. Yet, every time I hear one of his songs, it gives me pause now, bc it takes me to a blissful moment from my past. I will listen to HEROES as often as I possibly can til I pass!
Another ALL time great is "November Rain" sang by Guns and Roses.
Yeahhhhhhhhh
“Sweet Child of Mine”.
ANY Guns & Roses!!
Yes!!
without even knowing it, you guys just got introduced to David Bowie aka Ziggy Stardust, one of the all time legends of Glam Rock, check him out, maybe Lets Dance or China Girl is a later song to get you into him.
Nooooo! These guys don't need a soft introduction, they took to Freddie Mercury like ducks to water. They can go straight to the glammest of the rock.
I very much approve of the way you think, Claudia
Bowie definitely needs a Reaction. He's an icon of rock. And was the
Influence for so many others...I'd say Space Oddity or Life on Mars to start.
I really like China Girl. No to Let's Dance. Too soft. China Girl is exotic.
@@wsb5000 i figured Let's Dance just cause if the iconic beat that was sampled by Puff Daddy-Diddy w/e he is calling himself this week to see how they react
I'm starting to realise how lucky I was to be growing up when incredible artists like this made music together. Where are the incredible musicians of today? We have some good ones, sure, but where are the equivalents of the Freddies, Bowies's, MJ's, Prince, Whitney's and the countless others from the 80s? It's only all these years later you realise what a golden age for music it was.
Chade Fallstar the only one I can think of for this generation right now is maybeBruno Mars.
@@lindagayle7577 Yea that one I can agree with, so talented, just way beyond anyone else right now.
We still have Stevie Wonder and he's still singing we need to protect him.
The strokes, The killers, Audioslave, Passion Pit
“SABOTAGE” by Beastie Boys. The song is a crazy banger and the video for the song is AMAZING
Melanie video is FUNNY af!!!
Gotta react to Sabotage, and more Beastie Boys, too
Yes!!!!👏👏👏👏
SABOTAGE
YES, SABOTAGE!!!!
I feel like It's the End of the World As We Know It by REM goes well with this song. They're two of my favorites! I'd love to see you listen to it!
This song is emotional. You can tell that Queen understood people have suffered. Under Pressure will always be a Queen favorite of mine.
I would love to see your reaction to David Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust phase. His Version of Little Drummer Hoy with Bing Crosby is amazing too!
I love the Bowie/Crosby version of Little Drummer Boy.
Bowie as Ziggy Stardust or Aladdin Sane is a good start
Suffragette City. Diamond Dogs. So much great early Bowie!
(And btw, Twisted Sister used to do amazing covers of both those tunes back when they were still a Long Island bar band.)
Little Drummer Boy w/ Bing Crosby would be great to hear around Christmas time.
A Christmas staple in our house ♥️
Bing Crosby & David Bowie - "The Little Drummer Boy (Peace On Earth)"

From "Bing Crosby's Merrie Olde Christmas"
Bing passed away before this aired on television, original release is November 30, 1977
Such a beautiful song. You really need to check out the live version at Wembley Stadium. So much passion, so much energy.
I’m a 48 year old woman and a new subscriber. Love your videos and how you appreciate good tunes!
Love of my life by Queen at Wembly Stadium Live for a gorgeous vocal by Freddy and the prettiest guitar by Brian Mays!
Haven't seen a First Time Hearing with Bowie yet? "Fashion?", "Golden Years?"
More David Bowie, guys! He's part of what makes this so great.
Yes!!!! His music is vital to music history.
I'd love to see them listen to either Modern Love or Young Americans or Golden Years,
@@kateroyce2699 Cat People ( theme for the movie re-make ).
check out Queen and David Bowie singing this live. they combined Freddie and David singing together!
Not exactly surprising, since they sang it together in the studio version.
What a classic! ❤️ Please do Queen’s “The Show Must Go On”.. And for another legendary male singer’s voice, check out Joe Cocker -“With a little help from my friends” or “You can leave your hat on”!
Seeing you guys experience one of the most amazing, generation-defining songs of all time gives me goosebumps!
So glad you finally listened to this song and to these two legendary artists singing together!
You guys are working your way to a PhD in music history, I swear. 💕
Talk to @rickbeato ... please!!
Tom petty: Refugee
Fleetwood Mac: Tusk or the chain
Trust me :) bangers 🧡
Yes!!!!!
Freddie Mercury was the greatest showman ever. He had everything.
One of the best and most recognisable voices ever, he wrote a lot of the songs, he could play piano and no one could work a crowd like him. No one comes close.
My all time fave song. That last 30 seconds of building up before it all comes down is one of the greatest pieces in music history.
You should listen to " these are the days of our lives' .. it was his last song ... He was so sick it wasn't long after that he passed away... His voice never left him!! If you watch the video you can see just how week he was... I hope you enjoy it... Once you are a Freddie fan ....your'e a fan from the soul!!! RIP Freddie ... Gone, but always remembered and loved !!! The band tours now with a singer named Adam Lambert ... Who actually does a decent job. Give those a try and see what you think about how he honors Freddie through his music...
I am so looking forward to seeing you both in a few years. You're on a sky's the limit trajectory. Santana Black Magic Woman. Hands down, Santana is the best guitarist of a generation
George Michael singing Somebody to Love with Queen
Absolute magic.
David Bowie was amazing on this, he had such a good voice, you should really look at David Bowie.
I'm a 66 year old white grandma and I live to watch these! Its like watching and hearing these tunes from my youth for the first time! Thanks guys
It makes me so happy that you all love Queen so much. My favorite band of all time!
Bob Dylan ‘Hurricane’ the story of a black man falsely framed incredibly powerful and passionate lyrics and music 🖤🤎
great call. awesome song. they did a great job using it in the film "Dazed and Confused" too, matching the rhythym to the characters (including Wooderson, played by Matthew McConaughey) walking into the pool hall
YES YES YES
The movie The Hurricane was well done
Brilliant choice.
It's a great movie, too. Stars Denzel Washington.
You should check out another cool dude SANTANA one of the best guitarists ever.
Yes. Twins check out Santana.
Yes! Everything from Black Magic Woman to Maria Maria to Smooth
DEFIANTLY
susan lee :yess ‘Europa’, ‘Black Magic Woman’...🎸🎸
Maria Maria
Another great duo Luther Vandross and Gregory Hines, There’s Nothing Better Than Love
Yes! Do this guys!
Back in the 1920s, when Nosferatu was made, audiences had never seen anything like that. They were terrified! For them, it was the height of technology.
One of my favessss! I love walking down the streets of NYC on a summer night just as the rain starts to the climax of this song....instantly in my own music video. Though PLEASE note this BRILLIANCE is not ONLY Queen - but the enigma that was David Bowie as well!!!
Madness - One Step Beyond
Fine Young Cannibals - Johnny Come Home
KC & The Sunshine Band - Boogie Shoes
Ohio Players - Fire 🔥
Ooh great shout for Ohio Players - Fire!
Yes!!! Madness! OSB, or Baggy Trousers!
Boogie Shoes makes me dance every time
Ellay Branton Me, too. 💜
annwyn321 Yes!
I enjoy Annie Lennox and David Bowie practice before their Wembley Stadium for AIDS.
Best rendition of Under Pressure I’ve seen.
Just incredible!
Bowie & Gail Ann Dorsey also did it and I'm sure they had more time to practice it together.
"Down Under" by Men at Work. Love your work, legends.
Look how many times Bowie reinvented himself and his music. Someone suggested Life on Mars and that is one of my all time favorites. For contrast try Ziggy Star dust. Hero's is another. Marilyn M enjoy!
The movie is "Nosferatu" the first Dracula inspired film.
And just like Ice Ice Baby, got in trouble for stealing. All prints were supposed to have been destroyed.
Probably the 10,000th time I’ve heard this song. Goosebumps every time
One of the best songs of all time! You got some great ones in tonight and yesterday, got a lot to catch up on!
Queen is always a win
I have cried to this song more than once. And danced at a bus stop in a snow storm. One of the best David Bowie or Queen songs ever.
It's called 'scatting' when they just make those little sounds that sound like words in the verses.
