I appreciate how open you are with your emotions. Freddie Mercury would've been honored.
Freddie would be a fan for sure
You exactly right !!!
U should watch the movie about his life.
Amen. Freddie would love you!!
I do would love to hear Charlie Daniels Band reviewed by you guys!! Song to start with that will blow you away is
“THE DEVIL WENT DOWN TO GEORGIA” Charlie Daniels Band
Alternative Rock
Before he passed, Freddie told Brian May that he could do what he wanted with the music, "Just don't make me boring." I think Freddie would LOVE this reaction. It shows that he is definitely NOT boring.
I think Freddie would get a kick out of Adam too. It’s been fun to watch the band continue to tour and still pay homage to Freddie.
Yep I agree. Also, Freddie told Jim ‘Miami’ Beach(Queen’s manager) that not Brian.
@@Keston1302 Oh! I had it wrong. Thanks!!
Absolutely! Freddie wanted their music to be extraordinary. And to this day, no music can compare. ❤️

I'm a relatively old, white lady. Watching you (and your brother!) brings me such joy to see you watch for the first time and with so much joy! It's like hearing some of my favorite songs for the very first time again.

Yaaaaassss
Couldn’t agree more
Me as well.
My sentiments EXACTLY!
I love how much this guy likes Queen. It's such a different cultural influence, but the music brings people together anyway.
Yes, Yes, and YES!!!
Queen were influenced by african american musicians
Yes I think that was the plan. So very emotional with his voice and when one lives to tell the tale. That's very insightful.
Amen
Watch Queen at Live Aid. They killed it. The whole of Wembley Stadium rocking out 🤘🎶 Freddie took people places with his gift
Yep Queen were awesome and everyone else at Live Aid must have been nah, not doing this, after Queen were first on.
It wasn’t just wembley rockin out! I remember watching the whole thing on tv and dancing all over the room along with the rest of the world!
@@susanjewitt8783 They weren't first on, that's what makes the performance even more epic! It was 4 in the afternoon, people had been there all day and they were tired, hot and losing interest. Freddie came on stage and reignited the entire crowd! But, you're right, the next performer to go on said (jokingly) to Freddie: 'You bastard. How am I supposed to follow that?' And that was the legend that is David Bowie!
Y'all have to watch that concert even if you don't review/react. It will blow your mind 🤯🤩
@@emmaconnolly5738 Thank you for that. Yes remembering now it was Status Quo who opened with their set. Yes knew someone had said to Freddie about following Queen after their set but wouidn't have remembered it was David Bowie.
U absolutely MUST watch Queen's historic, legendary LIVE AID performance. They absolutely STOLE the show...and anybody who watches that performance is just MIND BLOWN by how powerful FREDDIE really is. U owe it to yourself to watch it. You'll be VERY glad u did. Real talk. 😎👍🏿👍🏿
Question: What genre of music is queen?
Answer: Yes.
Great
Rock
glam rock
😂😂😂😂😂😄 Exactly!
@@catgirl6803 I wouldn't say it's glam. Yeah, the outfits. But the identifiable constantly fast 1-2-3-4-beat you had with The Sweet or Gary Glitter isn't very pronounced here and doesn't even exist in later albums.
If you don't get goosebumps on your goosebumps listening to this......... well what can I say?

The funny thing about Freddie Mercury you would never realise, is that he was painfully shy off stage and had a bit of a stutter and lisp when he spoke. But when he went on stage he was able to throw all that off and come alive!
He still was a very humble guy.
He loved opera, which I guess is the style of music he was singing in if you think about it!
In this documentary I saw about his life, he said the greatest moment of his artistic life was meeting his favourite opera singer lady (forgot her name but you can look it up) and doing a duet with her. He was so thrilled!
Freddie Mercury was so inventive and creative, he went places and did things with music no one had ever done before.
We lost the most amazing singer ever when we were robbed of him. This wasn't even one of his best songs, honestly his range was mind boggling. He did suffer in his youth; it was quite sad. Hands down the best concert I ever saw - ever.
The opera singer Freddie loved is Monserrat Cabalia. My spelling is probably wrong. They made an album together
He didn't feel he played piano well and he said his best instrument was the audiance,
😭I ❤️Queen Fans❣️
@@NYCgirl927Monserat Caballet Spanish opera diva. They had a hit with Barcelona & did an album of the same name. They spent a year on the project as Freddie composed new music tailored to their vocal abilities. The result is magnificent.
Your reactions make me as happy as this song! We old school Queen fans are thrilled to bring in new members! Love your videos!
Brilliant McSexyass - Yup - I'm a fan from the 70's....and am a septuagenarian.
I love your reaction Beautiful ❤️👍🏼
His reactions show he truly loves + appreciates music, not just one genre or whatever. Love it.
If you want to be truly blown away, you need to watch their performance at "Live Aid". It's widely regarded as the best live rock performance of all time.
Sorry, I don’t want to be a dick, but it’s not even regarded as the best Queen performance of all time. It’s great though.
Great idea!!! I'd love to see the twins watch Queen's Live Aid performance for the first time.
Especially Radio Gaga.
@@weavehole Maybe not QUEEN’S best live performance, but certainly one of the best live performances by a band in general. Especially with Radio Gaga, just watching the reaction from the crowd, and seeing thousands of people so completely riveted by a performance. There’s definitely a reason why that performance is legendary.
I am so impressed with these young men. All the the brothers I've seen so far manly mature enough to show the true emotion the music brings to them! It took me so many years to be real about what I am or was feeling at the time. The parents of these young men should be so proud of them. Maybe you fellas can introduce us to Mom and Dad sometime? Keep it up I love watching videos with these fellas.
Not sure what their parental situation is. In another video he spoke of his mom being in prison when they were young and his grandfather raising them. Grandfather now has dementia.
All I know is that on several of these Reactions you can literally hear the Mom talking all loud in the background 😂 with the door shut in another room🤣

THIS KID IS KOOL
Dude you got to listen to The show must go on. It's one of the last songs he ever did and he was almost on his deathbed. They rolled him in a wheelchair , he took some shots of vodka and did it in one take
I still have the cassette single with bohemian rhapsody on one side and the show must go on that I bought when Wayne's World came out. I loved BH, but that was the first time I heard The Show Must Go On and it just captured me.
So with "The Show Must Go On", Freddie actually sang it in about 3 takes, but the bit about him slamming a good deal of vodka before singing (to help numb his throat, apparently) is true. Legend is that Brian May was concerned about whether Freddie would be capable of singing it, since Brian had written it, Freddie had replied, "I'll fucking do it, darling!" tossed back quite a lot of chilled Stoli, and then stepped into the studio and killed it, with a couple of extra takes for perfection's sake. Freddie wasn't alive if he wasn't making music.
@@samgoldberger2305 I had that single as well, first exposure to Queen.
Yes and Killer Queen
Yes, you should, if you haven't already. Him, so frigile and still being able to sing like that.
Queen is my favorite band. Your joy at hearing Freddy's voice makes them new to me again.
He was a legend whilst he was alive, He's practically worshipped as a God now, and rightly so, Queen as a whole set the standard for musical performances, But Freddie just made what seemed impossible possible and no one has been able to match his charisma, perfection, performance ability in music since, and recently it was noted that he once went from a C1 low note to a C6 in a song, pretty much impossible by anyone else, not even soprano's can match that vocal range. Also if you go to Zanzibar, The island is practically a shrine to Freddie, You have the restaurants, schools, & other public buildings & spaces all named after him . The world lost the most important person in modern musical history in 1991, and I'm glad to say that even though I was young, I was here when he was still with us, and I miss him so much, of our generation and that before me of my parents it still breaks our hearts as does it most the world, that he passed away when he did, far too young, as well so many tens of thousands if not millions died of the same cause, its horrible. Love you Freddie
This reaction is so pure, I'm gonna cry.
He had 5 octaves, That's why he wouldn't fix his teeth he thought that might change his range.
Same reason Barbra Streisand never changed her nose.
He also had extra teeth, which made his mouth a veritable opera house.
I think there has only been two or three singers with the range of Freddie Mercury. Whitney Houston was one and I don’t remember the other.
Mariah
Shaddap! It's not about octaves. Axl Rose has an 8 octave range.
The world is a lesser place without Freddie Mercury: his song writing ability and his beautiful voice. 😢😘
Amen
You are absolutely right I feel lonely too without his voice
That is soo true
But a richer world for him being here ❤️
His father never thought he would go anywhere with his music and tried to discourage him. So glad he followed his dream.
I love how, from the very first word's out of Freddie's mouth, you just fall back and can't even :) His voice just takes you there!!!
Deaky’s sweater vest seals it. 🤣🤣🤣
Like going to the office afterwards ... :-)
That’s what I thought 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
Freddie Mercury was touched by the gods, no doubt.
Queen is no Freddie alone
They are three other brilliant band members in this band
@The Deus Vault Freddie didn't really fair all that better when the band broke up and Freddie went solo. You have to understand, all of the guys in the band are brilliant musicians and song writers and each have written a hit song to their name. Each of them have tremendous amount of input to forming queen and making it succesful. You take one member out of the equation and a number of your favorite queen song might not even have come into existence.

Brian May is, without a doubt, one of the greatest guitar players of all time.
So thrilled that I am at the age of 60 and I can relate to your passion for Queen... I got my 1st album in 1973!
I think I've watched this video five times now in the last two weeks -- your love of Queen and Freddy Mercury is so pure! THANK YOU for sharing your joy, your openness, and your enthusiasm with all of us. I've been in quarantine in Brooklyn, NYC since March 7, and finding your channel a couple of weeks ago has been one of the few things that has made me feel truly light and happy during this very dark timeline. I'm going to support your Patreon, and I hope lots of other folks do as well.
This so far is my very very favorites reaction video! You usually pause videos and this one you did not pause once! Freddie Mercury simply had one of the most astounding voices ever! It's really interesting to watch your reactions and it's fun!
I commented the same.....it's my very favorite Queen Reaction he/they do. To be honest, he's my favorite of the twins!
This song always makes me want to cry, as well. Freddie was so amazing, and his life was cut short. But what a body of work to leave behind! And that's certainly not discounting the other band members; Brian May's guitar playing is as much of the reason I love Queen as Freddie's vocals. And those precision harmonies?! They are the full package.
Lynn Thompson - Don't forget my fave, Deaky! Invented Brian's special amp. Took over their finances so the band didn't break up. Great songwriter. His bass carries all of their songs. He's their anchor.
Saw Queen live in concert in Dallas, TX in my college years- so glad I did - an awesome band!
I can't carry a note but I feel compelled to sing along with Freddy every single time. In the interests of public safety I limit my Freddy singing to my home and my car.
Truth! I, too, am compelled, regardless of my lack of ability. That's the joy of Freddie.
I thought I was the only one!! 😆
Me too! And if the song is "Fat Bottom Girls", I also feel free to dance, badly.
"Get on your bikes, and ride!"
I can relate lol
Same here! Public safety is paramount.
I was lucky enough to see Queen live at Knebworth park in 1986. Best concert ever.
Thank you, one of my favorite Freddie performances. His voice was magical, like an angel.
Freddie would love watching you watch him... so happy you embrace Freddie for his true fierce self. ❤️
I've never been a big Queen fan but you've helped me to see them in a new light. I'd never heard this song myself. Thanks, Tim. :)
This is 1 of my favorite Queen songs. This and "Princes of the Universe".
I love your love for Freddie Mercury. He was a singular talent.
We all cried when Freddy stopped!
This song is the one I want played at my wake: I want a party & drinking & stories of my silly mistakes & my life - I’ve been in a rabbit hole watching all your videos. This is gonna be my send off, hopefully in a long long time, but my kiddos know they better be dancing and remembering all the great times! 👍🏽💕

All of Queen are incredibly talented. They’re the only band ever where every member has written a No.1 hit single. Brian wrote We will rock you, Roger wrote Radio Ga Ga, John Deacon wrote Another one bites the dust and Freddie wrote quite a lot(Killer Queen, We are the champions, Bohemian Rhapsody).

Freddie Mercury’s talent is certainly out of this world. I remember being in awe of his voice and performances as a child when I watched him on tv in the ‘70s and have been a fan ever since. There was usually no background dancers, no special effects, no splashy light shows - it was simply his raw talent that shined. He was hypnotizing to watch/listen to...still is. I personally think that of all bands that have existed, he’s one of the very best frontman/lead vocalists in history.
I find it amusing/funny that the Queen classics are being resurrected (again) and appreciated by the young generation again...seeing you youngins discover these popular classics for the first time. It proves that his music/performances are timeless.
...and no, I am not mad that you didn’t know that Queen is the band’s name and not the lead singer. 😉
