The Detolf design is starting to show its age. That would be cool if IKEA is redesigning a new Detolf 2.0!

Man I’m fine with the new ones being smaller but they could’ve made them wider to fit more stuff. That was always my one complaint with the detolfs is that they’re not wide enough.

Man, I regret not picking up another Detolf - sure. the Blaliden doesn't look bad but side-by-side it's going to bother me visually, hahaha. They don't even list the Detolf on the Ikea website anymore.

My Detolf literally broke as I started my first collection, I only had 3 1/12 Spiderman figures at the time and it broke after having it for a week. So as a Dedtolf hater with Blalidens now I see this as a win with the thicker glass.

FINALLY the video I’ve been looking for! As someone who collects mondo 1/6 Batman and X-men also, im also looking for a better display option now that hey no longer make detolfs and i only have 1 left after selling a couple years ago. I keep debating on the blaliden cause of reviews. I also prefer led strip lighting over the Luke lights or puck lights. Was it difficult to run them in the new display? I have a similar setup in my detolf just going around the frame
