Political Tensions and Gospel Nonviolence

St. Thérèse was born into a world of intense social and political conflict, much like the world of Dorothy's time and of our own. What does it mean to practice the Little Way in the post-nuclear ear? What does it mean to create a world “where it is easier to be good”? The spirituality of St. Thérèse is a foundation for the Catholic Worker praxis which combines the traditional works of mercy with nonviolent direct action in service of human dignity and flourishing. Dorothy's deep practice of the Little Way in the social sphere made her a transformative witness to the Gospel of Peace.
