- In this video, we'll be looking into Xinyan's lore and story as well as the relationships she has with Xiangling, Yunjin, and the people of Liyue Harbour in general. Her story is known by fewer people and is an underrated character in Genshin Impact. She was my first DPS when I started playing so she holds a special place for making the game so fun for me in the beginning. Here's hoping she gets a bit more appreciated while waiting for her appearance in any of the game's quests. I just hope we can get a hangout with her anytime soon.

11:01 this whole segment was actually from yunjin's point of view - she visited xinyan's house, instead of the other way around, and yunjin was stunned at how well-kept xinyan's house was. its a story that plays into one of xinyan's voice lines; "I can sew, I can grow flowers and keep fish, and make nice-looking meals. I'm allowed to like anything... or anyone I want". just trying to avoid anyone misunderstanding the story, xinyan's really dear to me and other than that, this video is brilliant

I know this is 4 months late but I just realized that I got them switched up lmao i think my brain juice was drained at that time. Anyway, I'm planning to redo this Xinyan video if Yunjin gets released and I'll make sure to correct my mistakes there.

Yeah, when Chongyun talked about Xinyan he said it made him hot and bothered but Xinyan's version was that Chongyun got up on stage and sing his heart out. Music is power.
Not many people know that Rock n Roll came from Fontaine. Which is fascinating because Fontaine is known to be the city of art and culture.
Yea and I’m pretty sure being an idol was also from there and that’s how Barbra became one
I hope xinayan gets screentime at least in Fontaine chapter.

@@2triedforthis830 Not really... Barbara became an idol under the influence of Alice (Klee's Mom) who is already confirmed to be a traveler from other worlds just like the protagonists. She handed her an idol magazine and talked to her about how she could be an idol and stuff which confused barbara at first since no one in Teyvat knows what the heck an idol is. This implies that the concept of idols are not something from Teyvat but are from another world. Eventually Barbara became an idol under her influence and Alice also made a proposal that she would like to make an idol group made out of different girls from different nations which I find interesting.
Theres also a mentioned character by the NPCs and billboards in Liyue named Yunjin who's character model is leaked. She is said to be a very popular singer and dancer in Liyue and I do hope that she have met with Alice so she could be a member of that idol group Alice was talking about.

She has a nice story, but she doesn't fit in any of my teams.
I play her but her character is so poor to team play so most people just discard her and as such, she goes unknown.

Sumeru and Fontaine should be released in this upcoming year
@@frootz9717 genshin started development in January 2017. And mond and liyue were released together when the game first launched at September 2020.
Developing TWO regions will take more than just a year.

Yeah, Xinyan need attention, but fans were saying the same with beidou. But look at it now, Beidou was saved for this new area. And I feel like Xinyan will do amazing things in future... Either with the release of Yunjin or with the release of new region
Yunjin is most likely a future playable character. There was a leaked charecter design of her as well.

Honestly xinyan saves me a lot when i didn't have any shield characters before and i never regreted building her.i understand why players see xinyan as a less likable character, it's because of her gameplay, long CD elemental skill, not that fun to play and many more. Trust me i don't like xinyan before, And now i feel like im one of the rarest player who mains xinyan (she's friendship lvl 10 btw)

Xinyan is my main. I don't get why people hate/forget on her. Her outfit is one of the most unique just like her skills. She is really good and interesting.
I think it's because she hasn't appeared on any story quests so far. Another thing is her kit, where it has split scaling which makes players invest a lot in order to build her :

She’s a cool character. Can’t stand how much hate the English VA gets tho. Once I get Kazuha and level him up I’m gonna level her and Kaeya up since they’re the only dark skinned characters in this game. I wish we get some more in the future. To be honest she is the first reason why I said he’s playing his game I remember first looking at her and I thought she was the cutest thing me and her kinda relate a lot because I’m tall and I don’t have a good face either but when you grow up you’re going to have better features and stuff and yeah. The fact that people don’t use her and she’s just forgotten the new community and I thought Amber was forgotten but damn this takes a whole different page of abandoned and lost. i would honestly use her and actually care about her so much because rock is my favorite genre... but her English accent... is just... i don't like it. i like everyone elses English voice except hers.
