A couple corrections.
1)Ruin Guards are said by Dainslief to be a creation of Khanreah not Salvindagnyr
2)Just because Albedo asks if his master created Durin does not mean that she did. 10:34 - 10:40 he just asks a question and say its proof?.
Yeah I was wrong about that xD but this was created long before the new archon quest got released and I just compiled details I read from weapon descriptions ;_;

Ruin Guards were belonged to Khanreah. If you decipher the message of the dead Ruin Guards in Dragonspine with Caesar cipher, you will get "forthe nation wecant forgo this skyborne power butwe failed".
There's an Alchemist called Gold who is from Kheanri'ah. It's stated that they created Shadow Beings and started a war within Kheanri'ah, supposedly they probably created Durin. Then the Gods and Celestia interfered, and this lead to the Cataclysm.
The princess was buried underneath a tree on an island near snow covered path This was where the princess box was found, there is a sword placed near the tree.

If you look at the description of the princess’s box you will see it mentions someone named “Ukko” and Ukko is a LAWACHURL
Yup about that there was a theory that Ukko is the Scribe's cursed form...
So, the Scribe managed to get to Kaenri'ah, and lived long enough to be cursed into a hilichurl form? Or perhaps the scribe was cursed in a separate incident.

The fact that you put in so much efforts into understanding the lore then there are people who are asking Mihoyo for a "skip dialogue and cut-scene" button.
I do love the lore and read through every quest text and dialogue, but as someone with two accounts, a skip button would be really useful
Dragonspine is one of my favorite updates still to this day. I remember being so exited to explore the whole area, and Boy did I have fun doing it.

Varuk maybe still alive as a Cryo Lawachurl guarding the frostbearing tree. I have a theory that those hilichurl may be like the titans in Attack on Titan which turn into their current shape due to punishment.
The Skyfrost Nail seems to have a rough edged top. Maybe it was the anchor for Celestia and it broke away?
I thought it was gonna be about maybe the hidden fox agate or something, but the lore was a pleasant surprise! The quality is also nice, good job! :D

Possible theory: Imunlakur is from Khaenri'ah and was one of the royal guards like dainsleif. Hence why he couldn't protect his old and new home.
Probably not because Kanaeri'ah fell over 2000 years after everything in Dragonspine

@@tartag613 Yes. Kaenri'ah fell about 500 years ago but everything in dragonspine happened about 2000 years before that, so the theory couldn't be possible because Imunlakur couldn't be from Kaenri'ah and still witness the events in dragonspine.
Barbados must have dealt a hefty amount of Anemo dmg on Durin to kill him.
Barbatos just summoned Dvalin for the job. Poor dragon almost died in the fight.

now that we know the skyfrost nail isnt unique to dragonspine, i wonder if the theory that celestia was located above dragonspine still stands. it seems more like a form of punishment rather than a physical anchor for the floating island. it would be nice to see you revisit dragonspine's lore after everything we've learned about it since 1.2

To me this wasn't a coincidence if Celestia was above Dragonspine before, they probably wanted to keep a closer eye on them, and now with that video I feel like something similar is gonna happen on the actual location of Celestia.
With every updates, it seems to be bigger and bigger, probably because it's falling or something like that.

Can the princess be Maiden Beloved? Because the descritption of Maiden Beloved talks about a woman waiting for her knight that never came back
Its still hard to figure it out but as for me, i think they are different because the knight who the maiden fell in love with was the "Bloodstained Knight" and from his description, it is different from the story of Imunlaukr 😅

Sal Vind could only be during or after the Archon War, not "much older" considering Celestia already existed at the time and presumably the war happens because gods were fighting over the seat of the 7 for unconfirmable reasons, so for as far back as Celestia first appearance, that is how early the war happen, so to say that Sal Vind happen long before the war was false.
Celestia obviously not native to Teyvat, neither do their "gods" and they came and forced gods of teyvat to fight a deathmatch for the 7 seats, this drawn from the fact that gods of Teyvat more or less fine with living together before the war, there might be conflicts but nothing as major as the Archon War.
It's confirmed Sal Vindagnyr is before Archon War because the only confirmed time of frost/ice age of Monstadt happened during the time Storm God & Borealis Wolf waged war on one another, a time way before Barbatos.

Not gonna lie. I hated being at dragonspine. I have anxiety so every time I saw the cold meter build, I got nervous until I discovered the cheat code of going to the other realm to heat up again

Me too. When I first played genshin and went to dragonspine, I am always at sheer cold and always goes back at the camp since I haven't open waypoints there but when I got the goulash, everything seems okay to venture once again to that place xD
I bet if Szeshnaya nation will release, we will be needing a lot of goulash because like Tartaglia's voiceline said; "Where I from, were freezing to death... literally" xD
Honestly, I think that's the idea. In Dragonspine lore it is said that the mountain that used to be lush and warm had its entire civilization killed and buried by ice. That's why the name of the phases on Vindr Peak is called "death-pronouncing snow". Several desperate attempts were made to dispel the ice, all of which failed.
So, I think every mechanic in Dragonspine is intended to reflect the despair, without any hope, of being in that place.
Perhaps the idea is exactly to make the player uncomfortable and anxious for fear of freezing to death.
I wonder if Imunlaukr is from the same world as the Travelers, either that or Teyvat ends up being the place Oulanders go to when their own worlds are destroyed. Maybe that's why the Unknown God attacked them, nothing good happens when an Outlander comes to Teyvat. XD
Anyway its not really clear how time works out when someone is Traveling between worlds, is it kind of like the theory of relativity? Perhaps Imunlaukr ended up in Teyvat pretty much right away while the twins were still traveling and by the time they came to Teyvat a thousand years had passed. Meh, its probably to much of a coincidence for this to be true.

2. There is also a story about Durin which is a tragedy.
1. There is clues, related to that. Texts all around dragonspine where you can find sentences that support that theory or fact.

slight spoilers for end of inazuma archon quest and zhongli second story quest
ok looking back now all three "special trees" in mondstadt, liyue and inazuma (excluding venessa's tree bc i dont consider it "special"), those being the frostbearing tree, azhdaha's tree/tail and the sacred sakura tree all have a connection to a past almost-god/god kind of figure. we have durin for the frostbearing tree who was an incredibly powerful dragon in mondstadt, azhdaha who was literally a close ally to the geo archon himself, and lastly the sacred sakura tree which i dont know who exactly that has a connection to but many people think that makoto fused together with it when she died as her form of eternity.
what i'm trying to get to is all three trees have this pattern in the wood that makes it look like the trunks are swirling with something else or even being corrupted. both azhdaha and the sacred sakura tree has blue for the trunk pattern whereas the frostbearing tree has red instead. maybe it's because durin corrupted it with his blood and power.
mannnn these are just those thoughts u have at 3 am huh...
Confirmed Color theory is used to describe difference whether corruption take place or not.
A teleporter that hasn't been activated is glowing red till it's activated or purified by the traveler. The withering on sumeru are symbolized in color red, same as King Deshret forbidden knowledge disease. The tear of corruption from Dvalin is colored red. Essentially everything Red means Corruption, Blue means Purity.
