Back at Japan's biggest car auction house USS Tokyo to see what's for sale. We find some amazing cars for auction despite it starting to slow down for the end of the year.

Umm cp9a prices did go up but ''fortunately'' didn't reach s15 or jzx levels of ludicrous.But they're appreciating. From what I am able to see the 5 are gaining a bit of value since they are going to be legal in 2023.A very good 5 now can go in the 2. 5-3.5 millions ¥ range.A average one is in the 1.5-2 millions ¥ and a beat to shit in the 500k-1.2 million ¥.
As for the 6 they are still ''cheaper'' compared to other jdm. My guess is that they still have a while before they turn 25.A very good one is in the 2.5 million ¥ range.An average one in the 1.5-2.0 million ¥ a beater is still under the 1 million range sometimes.

Yeah starlets are pretty common rally cars in Finland. There is like 8 rally starlets for sale out of 10 starlets.

I’ve got one of these, it’s the Z Aerotourer version with a 2zzge and 6spd manual. It’s a lot of fun, surprises the hell out of people when it screams past them at 8,200rpm
My fav car in the video was the white subaru gc8. Love them. Also the AE86 were cool af.

(Japanese car auctions slowing down) lmao!!! love that header mainly because it’s true, the fact that if you buy a car and want it shipped it will sit in a container in the middle of the ocean for a year + welcome to car shipping purgatory and the new world order!
Looking to buy something at the auction. However I want to do it in person to inspect the car personally because this will be by far my most expensive purchase. I am looking to buy my dream car next year but of course traveling from the USA because of Covid and what not will be difficult. What is the best way to store/park the vehicle. I am thinking of staying over in japan for a few months to enjoy japan before I have to go back. Anyway thank you SAMMIT for reading if you have. I was thinking about documenting the whole journey and staring a UA-cam page through the whole process.
Definitely document your experience trust me it would be an awesome experience, you’ll look back at the vids you make and be like wow look where I am now. Also building your dream car to your preference and documenting that is great especially if you make yt vids and share your experience with others.

Now that GTR can no longer be bought down under. Some of the prices have doubled. For a 2008 R35 going for AU 150-250k with like 100k+ KM. Crazy.

I was never a fan of Veilside. I get it, it's supposed to be 'over the top' but never could get into them.
Pretty sure that body kit on the Starlet is a Toyota TRD kit. I don't know if any came from the factory with it, but it's pretty common it seems based on a google image search.

What JDM would you recommend to import to Australia with a budget of 20,000 AUD? Although I'm fully licenced, I'm still weak with manuals so I'm guessing majority will be manual transmission.
I live In the U.S. and I’m about 2 years away from getting my first car, I want to travel here, 2 reasons, 1, to look at all of the awesome cars that you never see in the U.S. Two, to potentially purchase my first car, I don’t know much about importing the cars but, Awesome video and very excited for future content! 👍
Civics are already too expensive in Japan let alone a Type R lmao. Better off buying one in the U.S. I mean USDM EKs and EGs. Get them for 500 bucks compared to Japan prices that minimum 5000 bucks for a beaten 1.4L. Don't buy the hype.

I’m not really buying them for how popular they are, I just want to buy one to drive it around for a few years before I want to make plans to build it into a drag car. I don’t want to immediately add 600HP to a car that weighs as much as a feather. I’ve always loved mid 90s civics, such a beautiful and simple design.
@@mathias_764 yeah well the thing is I am setting a budget of like 8-10k and I realize and EG or EK civic won’t be my first car because they’re just too damn expensive at the moment, but my cousin might be selling his trailblazer SS with a supercharged 6.0. And with plenty horsepower, it won’t be underivable or anything. It has like 400 something horsepower. Says he’s selling it for around 10K. He just entered the Navy so he’s selling his car. 👍
