I 'removed' the rubber plastic sides as my food smelt and tasted like plastic.
Did it got rid of the smell? After removing those rubbers?
Not good to put water inside. It will rust all the metal. Stop.
Not frequently. Only before first use.
@Ade The all say to do this with a stubborn smell
will not rust. air fryers are all stainless, plastic, and/or nonstick
