I think it's crazy because she knows someone named James as well who she venetually marries. I think you'd love to watch it its set in 1939-1942 in the UK it's such an amazing,lovely,cozy, and sweet show. It reminds me of u soooo much. So glad you're back Sage! I've really missed your wholesome, relaxing videos as well as your beautiful, sweet self. You are so inspirational to me and it's been my dream to live like you when I move out. Even though that will be many years from now as I'm only fifteen. If only life were simple and elegant like in the 1940s and 1950s when you had time to just do your hobbies and feel happy, natural peace. What a busy, restless world we live in now. And thank you to that wonderful subscriber who gave you that cookbook, I'm sure I can smell that homecooked meal all the way over here in Canada. God bless! ❤

This video was so beautiful and peaceful. It nearly brought me to tears - because everything seemed to be so slowed down, romanticized and done with intention back then. Not something we’re used to in today’s way of living. I would love to adapt some of these practices into my home. It also gave me an image of what my late Grandmothers must’ve been like at my age. Oh how I would’ve loved to sit outside under a tree, share conversation and enjoy lunch with them in beautiful dresses.💗
That’s the kind of meals I used to eat when I was a kid. I grew up in the 1960s. My mom stayed at home and was a homemaker. I just loved it.

I was born in 1952 in Connecticut. I remember my mother choosing the coming week's menu before writing her grocery list, and it always included "leftovers" night on Thursday.

Nature is so surprising and special….. Spring is beginning in Australia and in Europe(Belgium) autumn has started on the 21st of september. We’re having lots of rain and cold wind at the moment and in the morning it can be misty. Just enjoy granny’s house while you are still there. Soon you will start a new part of your life in another place but you will surely think about this house and its memories many times.

In your next home you should have a kitchen desk, so that you can do all your menus and planning. An excellent example of one is in the movie "the long walk home" It has a beautiful Mid-century style kitchen that includes a kitchen desk. Warning the movie will not be to your liking but I am only recommending it because of the mid century decor.

How much I have been missing you Sage, I really wanted you to come back with your wonderful channel and with your videos that are true gems and a huge inspiration for many people, there are so many retro channels abandoned by UA-cam with vitange themes that it is a real shame They start with great enthusiasm and then disappear as if nothing had happened. You can boil a bit the fresh oregano to soften it then fry it with asparagus and scrambled eggs salt and pepper or boil it with potatoes and little bit of oil salt and pepper or as a medicine boil it and drink the juice it helps with period cramps ❤❤❤❤❤❤love your videos
You can just zest it in boiling water and freeze it in batches to uses during winter time ❤
