Totally understand if you wanna keep your vintage world separate from your nursing world, but as a fellow nursing student who also admires vintage I want to say thank you for having such wholesome and consistently lovely content. The level of ease and simplicity at home and in mind is what I want to achieve. A great balm for this frazzled brain 😇
I totally agree! I look forward to relaxing with Sage’s videos either on Saturday night or Sunday afternoon when my son and hubby are off doing “guy stuff.” So relaxing and uplifting. Thank you, Sage!
What is this magic??! She’s heavenly. It’s like watching my grandma before I was born. Love it! I’m from a small town, grew up in the 80s, and my grandma dressed like this!
Sage, I adore you. You're videos are calming and soothing. James better appreciate the Goddess he's been lucky enough to have in his life. 💕💕
@@swillou2me too!! I grew up in the 70s-80s. Born in 1967. My grandmas dressed the same. Such a simpler sweet time
Your sister is lucky gal.
I am super pregnant(7 months) so I find it very easy to sit around and not want to do anything. But watching this helped calm me and motivate me enough to tidy my own house. Thanks Sage you’re a doll 😊
I loved hearing you say , "IM A NURSE" !!!! How thrilling to hear those words coming from you! I couldn't be happier for you and want to Congratulate you again. I'm so proud of you, you did it !!! You are amazing !!!!
I wore my 1950’s inspired outfit to dinner last night. My husband absolutely loved it. I would love to get more clothes, especially dresses inspired by the 50’s.
Check Amazon and eBay
If you can afford to splurge modcloth has some really good options.
i love the 50s aesthetic and this brings so much joys to my lil ole heart
Omg finally I’ve waited so long! Thank you so much for posting! I can sit for hours and just watch your housewife/a day in your life videos over and over again. You’re the best Sage🥰🥰
Awe thank you so much! ☺️
Sage does such cute vlogs.
Love how thoughtful you were with every detail of your sister and nephews room, she will be (or was) so thrilled I’m sure 💕 Always trips me out how our seasons are opposite! Fall is upon us here and yet your spring is just starting on the other side of the world ✨
The baby bed is amazing. I have never seen one like that! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family
Love your pants
I always love seeing the vintage life videos.
Watching you makes me feel like laying on my grandma's cozy couch in her clean house after eating her amazing meals
Your day in the life videos inspired me last year to get and keep my home much in the way of the 1940's housewife. It was great for about 2 months until my husband got covid, then I got covid (then a little Myocarditis a few weeks later from my bout with covid). Fun Fun. It's taken about 10 months to get my house back on track (sidetracked by some other family emergencies, gardening, and general craziness). How timely to have another day in the life video to make me smile and keep me going. Congrats on being a nurse as well. My husband is a nurse and it's hard work to get there. Thanks for the video, looking forward to many more.
I had to look up myocarditis and it sounds MOST unpleasant like the entire Covid saga, After receiving a couple of vaccinations I came down with Covid like most.
Obviously I survived, but 18 months later still have weird sinuses with strange smells, never having suffered from sinus before, horrible business all round
@@Motherhubbard170 It was an unpleasant experience. Ironically, our bout with Covid itself wasn't too bad. Aside from tiredness and a fever 10 days for each of us; nothing much to report. Mine was worse than hubbies because one of my migraines(hormonal) decided to show up at about the same time. I also lost my sense of taste and smell, which was really weird! My husband, a nurse, was vaccinated, and masked, but caught it anyway. I wasn't vaccinated, and caught it from my husband when he came home sick.
The effort and love you put into your sister's (and nephew's) arrival touched my heart. Congrats! on the eggs.
I WAS JUST CHECKING YOUR CHANNEL TODAY WONDERING HOW YOU ARE DOING
I could watch her everyday
Thank you sharing your life. God bless you.
Love your videos all of them. I’m a lady that was a young teen in the 50’s so these bring me back to those wonderful days of becoming a a young woman. Born in late 43 I remember both decades. Lovely time to grow up. Sorry young people today couldn’t have experienced a sweeter time!
What a wonderful sister you are! Every time I see videos where you are doing things sister & child related, I think how nice it must be to have that kind of relationship with one’s siblings. 👩👧👧
Thank you for sharing bits of your life with us Sage! I currently can’t work due to cancer, & your videos help to break up the monotony & give me joy! You are a ray of sunshine! ☺️
Thank you so much for watching Jennifer, I'm so glad you enjoy my videos! Sending lots and lots of love xox
Hope your doing well!!!!!! 💖💖💖💖
Jennifer I hope you are doing good 😊 I hope you had Wonderful Holidays sending you prayers and hugs 💓 I hope that's okay.🕊️🕯️🙏🍀🌹
Hope your healing now prayers 🙏
I love the jeans you were wearing, so cute.
Your little nephew is adorable 🥰
Thanks for another great video.
I love your content so much. You do such an amazing job in your portrayal of the time period. There's something i find very comforting about watching a day in the life in the 40s, 50s, 60s area.. i'm not even sure as to why seeing as i was born long after in 1997 😂 I think its the simplicity that the world today doesn't have thanks to all the technology we now have in our lives, i really think it's taken us over and is making us all really unhealthy. To think people use to wake up, get ready for their day, go out to actual shops to buy necessities, socialize with people face to face and take better care of themselves which seems to be slipping with a lot of us today thanks to the abundance of convenience we now have. I also love that people would still sit down together and have set meals as a family every day. I know that time area was far from perfect, and i'm so grateful for all we have now but i do think some of our old values should be bought back ❤
My Mum on making tea “One per person and one for the pot”. ❤ the video Sage.
Hi Sage! My daughter, Vienna, is going to be you for Halloween! We LOVE watching your channel every Sunday together. She is a little chef, so your Dining Through the Decades was such a treat for her.
This is so lovely
That is so sweet !
Sage, it’s sooooo sweet and lovely that you made up the room for your sister and nephew 🥹🥹💖💖 so special. You got some eggs as a reward 🥰
I could watch this video over and over. I love everything about it, and it reminds me so much of my own days - the favourite ones when I'm at home. Both calming and motivating. Love the guest room refresh - your sister and nephew must be so cosy in there, especially with all the love and care you put into it. These are my favourite videos of yours: the daily life stuff is where you really shine.
Aw thank you so much for your lovely words! xx 💞
I keep your videos playing in the background when I clean because it helps me out so much and your voice is so soothing to keep me calm when I start getting anxiety from cleaning. I love your videos so much!♥️
I love that you made hospital corners on the beds! I graduated nursing school(Niagara University, Niagara Falls NY) in 1980 and I still do hospital corners on my beds!!
These videos bring me so much comfort ❤
Haha I was just about to comment and say I am sick today and having a cup of hot cocoa and watching this video has been really relaxing and nice, and then I saw you were making a cup of hot cocoa too!
Your videos are so lovely and really create an enchanting mood
I wish times were like this again! You are so inspiring to me as a wife and homemaker! Mom also. Thank you!
I love watching your videos ,I grew up in the 1950's and what you show brings back memories of how my mum and dad and siblings lived .I was born in 1947 and can remember some things.live was so much simpler than and family orientated know e have to have progress but sometimes I wish we could turn back the clock .thank you for the videos.
I love how you always include the outtakes. Please don't stop doing that... it's such a fun touch at the end of your videos! lol :)
This was so peaceful to watch. The background music is beautiful too
If you really want to do laundry vintage, get the old canvas shoulder clothespin bag. Then you just reach down into the bag to get the clothespin as you are hanging clothes and vice versa. When my son was born, we found one of those lovely old wicker bassanets, my mother made all the sheets and blankets for it. After I first saw it on your channel, I got that gravy mix - onion, beef and chicken - very tasty. Then I saw you pouring from the gravy boat. The only one I have just sits and you use a ladle to serve, sloppy, so I went hunting on line and found a perfect vintage china gravy boat - can't wait to use it!
I use the same toner and love it, too! Recently, I started putting it in my hand, instead of on the cotton ball, and rubbing my hands together, then patting/pressing it into the skin on my face and neck. It feels SO much more calming for some reason. Maybe u will enjoy that as well. 🥰 Your days in the life are my favorite. They help inspire me to get back into a good routine! Thank u!
Awh the 1950s days are amazing ❤️. always so cheerful and inspiring! I'll give my house a good spring clean this week 🤗. from a very hot South Africa 🌍
I absolutely love your housewife videos, I’ve been struggling with depression for many years and I reached the point where I had no intention in leaving my bed it was such a nightmare. But since I started watching your videos my love for life has reignited! I want to take care of my self, lose some weight to wear beautiful dresses such as you do, fixing my hair and doing my makeup has become something exciting and your joyful way of just enjoying what you do!! Thank you so much, your example is changing/saving my life. Love you so much ❤
Sage is such an inspiration, and now dear one, so are YOU! Thank you for being raw, and vulnerable with us. May you find the courage, and strength to face each day with hope, and the beauty that surrounds you. May you nurture your soul, and that of another. I wish the very Best of everything for you, Lovely Lady. 💕💖💕
I’ve had regular red hens and a rooster and also a Bantam hen and a bantam rooster. The bantam hen sat on her tiny eggs and hatched tiny chicks. The chicks were tiny! She was such a good mother and warmed her chicks by having them huddle under her wings. Watching them follow her and peck and scratch imitating her just about Burst my heart. I also had a cosleeper when my baby was born and I was able to breast-feed and change the diaper in the night without getting out of bed. It was the most wonderful thing Besides my baby jogger which my toddler absolutely loved and was in until he was about five. He would crawl into it ready to go on a trip with me and our beautiful pitbull who was also his informal nanny and playmate.
Love the bloopers almost as much as the video itself! You are beyond charming. Thank you for this lovely content, as always. 💕
So happy you got a sponsor and your videos make me motivated yet so peaceful! I had already deep cleaned my entire bathroom before this so I was "please don't get more motivated I'm so tired and have homework!" lol
Sage, thank you for this beautiful and harmonious video. I enjoyed listening to you. Your flower garden is beautiful, the chickens are cute. I screamed too when they laid the egg! 😂 I just love your house, it looks so cozy inside. Every new video makes me happy. You simply radiate incredible positivity and energy. The world would be a better place if all people had your virtues and big heart.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I grew up in Chicago and graduated 8th grade in 1959. My mom never wore slacks until she was in her 60s. Maybe because she was only 4' 10"". I remember she always wore skirts with buttons which her sister made for her. She had one good dress, a shiny taffeta like material in navy blue and a cute little navy hat with a veil to match.
I love the shiny bedcover and pillow cases on your own bed , very vintage , very hollywood, beautiful.
I miss the op shops in Australia. I now live in the US but loved going to op shops growing up back home. Mum and I would plan our trips away from Cowra to Sydney visiting all the op shops along the way...so many awesome finds. I love watching your videos because they remind me of home and all the pretty antiques you find.
Your back yard is looking so nice! I am so happy Mable and Maud are feeling more safe and secure! Yay! Eggs!!
Those cleaning solutions are such a good idea for the environment! I’ve never seen that before but they are genius
Sage, truly, you are an extraordinary woman! Producing this fascinating video AND taking nursing exams!! Wow!! ❤ Thank you!
I just watch all your videos rather than TV. You and your husband seem like just really nice people who appreciate life and the well used things that are not brand new. I wish the two of you all the happiness in the world.
I really love your channel. Thank you for making all these videos. I thought I was the only one who wanted to live in the 1950s/60s. 😉
This was so lovely and entertaining as always 🥰 You could make a day in the life of ANY decade be just perfect🥰
These videos take my stress away, thank you Sage!
He has the best baby googly eye expressions!!! The bedroom looked very cozy.
Although I was born in the early 70's, this brings back so much nostalgia from when I would stay at my grandparents house.... I always remember loose leaf tea in the teapot and having to use a strainer and the toast always on the toast rack hot off the grill as they didn't have a toaster. Love your videos thanks for the inspo xx
I love the chaotic out takes at the end 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am here ! I couldn’t wait to see this video. I have been thinking about it all day. 👏🏻🙌🏻❤
Aww Sage, I love how you did the room for you’re sister and baby James and Colby are just so cute 🥰 and yay to Mabel and Maud laying eggs 🥚 💜
Day in the life is my favorite ❤️ More, please!
My mom and grandparents used to constantly talk about properly airing out all the beds before anyone slept in them. It's been years since I heard the term of airing out the beds and took me back to every other weekend picking my mom up at work after lunch on a Saturday and driving80minutes to care for my nanna who had had several strokes and whose carer/housekeeper had the weekend off.
Love the beautiful & tranquil room you did for your sister & nephew, beautiful. Your nephew is so cute. Thank you for another wonderful video & have a great week Sage...xx
I love watching you as I was doing the same living 1950s way of life and 1940s nice to have your own place - I inherited from my mum xx
Oh yes YESSS!!! Can’t watch this at the moment but can NOT wait to get home, and have a cool drink and watch your lovely video! I LOVE day in the life videos, and of course YOURS are my very Favorite ❤❤❤❤❤🎉😅

I just want to take a moment and appreciate the camerawork that went into this. Such great quality! Keep it up!
Aw You’re So Cute with All your Vintage Ways,I know you don’t live like that all the time ,But So Captivating how you embrace it
I love these types of video, just nice and chill but informative and inspiring too
I just bought a pink coffee mug from your merch site. It’s so cute! Morning coffee has never been so simple, delicious and inspiring. ☕️🌸🍳🫖

Loved this sooooo much! The guest bedroom was decorated so beautifully and thoughtfully and inspired me to do some decorating of my own! Also, I love Atonement, but... The heartbreak! 😭 Such a good movie though, we studied it in VCE ❤️

Every time I see one of these videos from Sage it inspires me! There is something so nostalgic and homey about Sage vlogs and they always bring me comfort. Absolutely wonderful as always, Sage! 🌸
You are so cute and your home is just lovely. You’re quite an inspiration to us housewives.
I love the blue pillow on the bed! My mom used to make those - she was a wonderful seamless.
Guest room looks so cozy
What a beautiful video Sage! I love how you made up your sister's and nephew's room - so lovely. I hope you have a great visit with them!
Hi Sage! So lovely to see you! Love from Arkansas ❤️
Wow just stumbled upon your channel I love it 😍 your home reminded me of my friends grandpa house. I love it, brings back good memories of the time I spent there! Keep the vlogs coming! Can’t wait for the next episode
I absolutely love what you have done with your little house!! You have such an incredible ability to stay within the era your trying to achieve. Can I come and visit after April and Colby leave🙋🏼♀️😂
Hi Sage! I was told the same advise by my elders of one teabag for each plus one for the pot. Interesting to see you all start spring as we enter Autumn with cooler temperatures beginning, which too quickly becomes winter. I live in Northern Illinois. Thank you for all you do & inviting us in! ❣
I love your videos so much! Always such a joy to watch. Thank you, Sage! ❤️
The room is very cute! And how thoughtful of you! But your jeans! 😍
Really enjoyed watching ! " I`m new too your videos ! I to love the style & colours of the 1950s, So much we can all learn from the past..
Hospital corners are the only way to make a bed. The room make over was beautiful! The linens and the little extras made a real differance. Cozy and inviting.
The simple dinner looks really delicious. Will definitely try the way you cooked it. Thank you for sharing the lovely content from the 50s and the post-war eras.
Your home makes me peaceful and happy. Thank you for sharing ❤
Such a lovely video, they always make me feel so calm! I'm so happy for Maud & Mabel, feeling safe and free to lay their eggs 🤍
I have seemingly endless housework planned for today, it's sunny and chilly here in England too as we head into Autumn.
I hope your sister and nephew have/had the loveliest stay. Their room was so beautiful, tranquil and cosy, you did such a marvellous job! Maybe put out a pretty bed jacket for her if she's up feeding Colby at night?
Sage my daughter and I really enjoy your videos! !
That guest room looks gorgeous. Hope you enjoy your family visit.
I love this video! It was so good to see a video from you again! I hope you are doing well with your exams!
The taped on labels for the bed sizing- so simple but so effective! I will definitely be doing this.
Ahh, this is so lovely! I love the setup of the guest room and your little nephew is just SO SWEET. Ahhh all the pudgy baby rolls!
These are my favorite videos you make! I dropped everything I was just doing to stop to watch you. Thank you for taking the time to make these wonderful videos… So much love from New York❤
Delightful as always dear Sage! I’m always excited when you upload a new video. Thank you for making them.
Aw thank you so much! 💕
You are wonderful! Thank you for sharing with us all!!
Have a wonderful visit with your sister and Colby. The bedroom looks so inviting!
Yesterday I did 6 loads of mostly towels, sheets, and blankets. No dryer as it’s hot here in Florida, USA. I thought of you and how nice it is to conserve energy, have fresh laundered items dried in the wind and sun. So nice to see you still do this!
It's very common in Australia to line dry. Many people don't have dryers at all
Always happy to see you Sage. The room for your sister and nephew looks so lovely. I love all the little touches. Your nephew is adorable. I can't wait to see your upcoming bathroom makeover. I look forward to more videos. Take care and have a blessed week.🥰
You made the room so cute, I'm sure your sister felt so welcome! Also, your nephew is adorable!
