Hey, listen, you explained it fine with the pops and bangs. I've gotta M850i gran sport and was gonna do the same. Do you get more pops than stock in sport only not plus we know plus is good just hate it in auto cause it stays in gear to long

Seems like sport pops are more audible. But definitely more subtle. Note that your car might have the same Engine Sound setting as mine where you can choose to completely turn off pops in any mode if needed

Yeooo I did it boys. Removed the f203 fuse. Had done the method of taking out plug/ waterproofing etc. Bruh the car gets much louder. I have a 22 m550. In sport mode shit pops like crazy. Even my wife is getting pissed.
Listen, anyone have any input on long term issues/performance of the valves are always open. I floored my shiii today and idk. It lagged a bit. May just be me.
